🌿 birthday: Two days after Christmas. 1987. In a north-eastern italian city. (How mysterious...)

🍃 height: 1.66 m, I think? I don't even know how tall I am. 🙊

🌿 last song i listened to: I listen a lot of italian song for kids because I have a 1 year old niece and I babysit her basically almost every day, so... (it's a torture)

🌱 hobbies: I studied Art and I'm an illustrator but I don't draw that much like before because life is hard and shit. I write screenplays (I actually wrote a short film, it was a nice experience and it's something I want to explore again soon). I took acting lessons for two years and I had a small part of a indie film that was presented at the Venice Film Festival two years ago. I also go to aqua gym and watch women's football (duh...) I love the Olympics and swimming sports too! I played volleyball for a long time and I hated it, lol.

🍃 favorite color: Petrol blue.

🌿 last movie i saw: "Tall Girl" on Netflix. Don't watch it, please.

🍃 favorite book: "The Girl You Left Behind" by Jojo Moyes. Lovely.

🌱 dream job: I would love to illustrate books for a living but it's not possible atm. I have a new job, actually. I'll start it next week and it's not really what I dreamed 10 years ago but better than nothing!

🌿 meaning behind my url: 8 years ago I thought it sounded hipstey. Sorry.

USWNT 30 Days Challenge - Day 21: Favourite Player

Sometimes, when I talk about Tobin, I know where to start but I don’t know how to end! And it’s seems surreal to me since the first time I saw her was less than a year ago, the 22nd of June 2019. But she struck me like a lightening because she appeared to me like the essence of a sport I grew up with, a sport that is part of who I am even if I almost never practiced it. Tobin Heath is nothing less than a football Genius, in my opinion. She’s creative, she’s a visionary, she sees what others miss, she fights where others give up, she’s relentless, she creates spaces and possibilities for herself and for her team. Tobin has such a duality in her game and her personality, she’s logical and irrational, she’s impulsive and thoughtful, she’s so passionate but also incredible focused. Sometimes she looks incredibly serious and the second later she breaks in that wonderful smile of hers! She really gives herself unconditionally, like a generous soul, both in football and in her art. I love the way she celebrates a goal, when she opens her arms and closes her eyes, I see freedom in her, she looks so relieved and so peaceful. I often borrow Rapinoe’s words to describe her because sometimes they fit so well, and I loved when she said about Tobin that she’s “very much who she is”, that she knows what kind of person she wants to be and she keeps being that person, unapologetic and genuine. She can look so adorably chaotic but I really believe she’s stable and determined, she’s supportive, she’s a role model for the next generation and she’s so involved in the education of young girls in sports. I also love how mature she actually has become, through re-inc and her art, she’s expressing a new side of herself, she’s slowly leaving her comfort zone, remaining always pretty private but willing to embrace the new. Obviously, this is what I personally see in her, from afar, but I’ve chosen to believe in her and I’m glad that at the moment she has never proven me wrong.  [p.s. Tobin Heath is the greatest gift @iampenlau could ever give me]

Barça's judicial triumph over the rights to Primera Iberdrola.

The Primera Instancia 47th court of Barcelona (lower court like a district court) declares the nullity of the actions carried out after the precautionary measures requested by Mediapro.

FC Barcelona could continue broadcasting through Barca TV home games to protect the stadium rights (or under the stadium rights).

FC Barcelona has won a court battle in the conflict related to the broadcast of the past disputed Primera División match from September 21 at Estadi Johan Cruyff between the Barcelona club and Atletico de Madrid (6-1). FC Barcelona entity has reported in a press release that “Un relation to the precautionary measures requested by Mediapro to prevent FC Barcelona, this past September 21, the broadcast of the Primera Iberdrola match between our women’s team and Atletico de Madrid, the Primera Instancia 47th court of Barcelona, accepting the arguments of FC Barcelona, has ruled that the proper jurisdiction is the Mercantile(Commercial) Courts (and non-civil) of Barcelona”.

In this way, “The resolution supposes also to declare the nullity of all action taken to date as a result of the adoption of these measures, so FC Barcelona reserves the right to bring the corresponding action claiming the damages and harm that have been caused to them”.

We love a happy ending! Now we can watch their home matches Culers 🥳

Mapito jr., if you had to rank your 5 favorite Spaniards, who would you pick and why?

Mapito sr., I love this question because rankings are my jam but this one was super hard to do. But also fun!

Like I’ve told you before, i’ve started to pay attention to women’s football fairly recently but I did all my best to learn everything I needed to know after this amazing WWC and I’m still not done, there’s never an end I’m a good with that!

So, I just love to watch women’s football.

But it’s very difficult to follow the Liga Iberdrola and their NT games (home and away) because free streaming is still a dream for many not spanish people like me. 😔 But thank god there’s always a smol way to watch ‘em play in all their glory!

Now back with your question (annnd since english is not my first tongue, I apologize in advance if there any grammar mistakes, I did my best)

My favorite spaniards aaaaare….:

1) JENNI HERMOSO 🏃‍♀️

Granted choice? Maybe BUT there is a reason why Jenni deserves the first place: It’s a delight to see her play, she is a veteran who does not give up the bone and she’s very focused and makes terrific shots straight into the net. I sincerely think there will be a time before and after Jenni, just as there was a time before and after Vero (whom I’m starting to admire a lot lately for what she did in the past).

In addition, if I were a player of any opposite team and I happened to face her in a 1 v 1 situation I would have only two choices: to give her the ball and pray or to run away from her because she can be intimidating as I’m a reputed clown.

2) MAPI LEON 💪

Mapi is not only a cool person with questionable tattoos, but above all she knows how to play, oh she knows! She clearly likes what she does, I would even say that when she’s 100% in form, she makes love with the field. She’s physical and just so spanish that I just die a little when I see her stealing the ball in a fashionable way. Hashtag swoon.

Small note: I like to observe the different playing style of  international NTs, I have my favorites and I really like how the Spain NT play, it may seem a boring style to some, but not to me. Tiki taka olala!

And Mapi embodies the Spanish style in the highest, positive way. (Can she marry me now?)

3) ALEXIA PUTELLAS 🏅

There’s not much to add except that Alexia is a purebred, indefatigable football player. She’s also beautiful (eh....) and lovely and she cares about a lot of things. Short story: She’s my ideal woman but don’t tell that to Jenni.

4) IRENE PAREDES ⚽️

I watched her play in a couple of PSG games and she gave me a very good impression and she certainly deserves some attention… I feel great sympathy for the defenders in general because, although it may seem that they don’t do much in the field, in reality they are crucial players. They must be cold and decisive and Paredes is so talented that she deserves to be highlighted more often than the usual.

5) NAHIKARI GARCIA 👧

I still have to know her well but I confidently put Nahi in fifth place because I know she will grow as a player very very well. Now I’ll say something that maybe nobody will like it but the first thing that struck me most about her is her beauty. Here, I said it... But hey, remember that I just started to follow the espwnt not even 1 years ago and I immediately fell in love with it, I still have to know and recognize a lot of those more obscure spaniard players but I’m getting there, don’t worry!Imagine in which state I will be in 5 months from now? I’ll be ded and I’ll be not ashamed to tell you that Nahi will be one the reasons of my death.

Special mention to Caldentbae (credits to @veronicaboquetes), Sosa and Panos. Talented babes, I want to smooch ‘em in a very friendly, respectful way.

Yeah, it's really unfortunate to place Stanley in such a compromising situation and against the Reign of all teams smh ��

It really does suck for everyone. Ash for being injured (hip labrum injuries hurt like a b****, I’ve been told). The team for loosing their captain and their number one goalkeeper, and for having to play with a GK they don’t know very well behind them. Stanley for being thrown into a game with a team she doesn’t know very well. Just.. UGH. Sports sucks and idk why any of us watch.
