Pocky Day for the main 6:

Alphen x Shionne

Shionne finds out about it and is intent on the idea. Food and kisses? Yes plz

Alphen is embarrassed but intrigued

Shionne buys several packs and forgets she can like. Just eat the pocky. Without the kisses. Alphen almost keels over from sugar overdose trying to keep her happy

Dohalim x Kisara

It's silly but the whimsy of it draws Kisara

Dohalim misses the point and buys sticks of various jerky to try it with

Kisara is Not Impressed

(But she tries it anyway)

At least she came prepared with the right thing

And knowing Do's tastes, she brought a variety of flavors instead of just the common chocolate

Do is partial to banana pocky

Law and Rinwell

Law wants. So badly. To do this with Rinwell

She is Uninterested

(He hasn't even gotten the guts to ask her on a date)

(And now here's the darling idiot with a box of pocky stumbling over his words in a failed attempt to explain the game)

They share the pocky in the courtyard at the Autelina Palace while Rinwell reads a book and Law just enjoys the time together

(He feels ridiculous)

(But he also just likes spending the time together so it's still a win)

She's grateful for the snacks and company and asks to do it again someday

my brain is too dried from playing too much toarise in one day but here are my random thoughts that are (sometimes just tangentially) related to Ango:

i have a massive attachment to buraiha so that translates to an attachment to ango

yes i love them as a trio of emos and/or dumbasses

yes i also ship them but that’s a topic for another day

i like to think of ango as someone who does what he’s good at for the sheer reason that he’s good at it/that he can do it

and that his time with oda and dazai was a time where he actually lived, and not just existed or worked or have been useful

i, however, haven’t read 55 minutes or the gaiden

for now i think he’s not all that good with planning—

more a cramming and thinking on the fly operative—

and then overthink the past at a more peaceful time— type of person

those and that he’s only had two people he’s ever considered important/as friends in his life and he’s not willing to lose the remaining one to another “job well done”

i think he’s sentimental and lonely or i’m just projecting

i share the opinion/headcanon/wish of that one/two post/s that said jailbreak arc better end with ango flicking dazai’s forehead and calling him his friend

tldr i want this man to be happy

i’d buy him a golden fizz once i get a job
