LGBT rep in Kid’s shows (a disjointed thinking out loud post)

CN seems to have a monopoly on wlw rep now, by that I mean at least two of their shows have up front right there clear cut lesbian characters (ALL the Gems except Maaayybe Rose but she seems to be Bi so it still counts, and Jeff’s Moms in Clarence), but they have little to no mlm rep (there was a, mlm couple on a date in an episode of Clarence but only one half of the couple has ever been seen in any other eps and he’s never spoken, and the two main villains in Ok-Ko are queer-coded....which is actually homophobic, but I digress)

Nick currently has one show that has a lot of LGBT rep, the Loud house, the main character’s friend has two Dads(who are also an interacial couple), and unike SU both are human so that’s also a huge plus because it normalizes it more than “they’re aliens so this is normal for their species” also as of the end of season 2 one of the main character’s sisters is dating another girl

Disney has one too now...there was a lesbian couple in Doc Mcstuffins...and at some point there might be an mlm storyline in Andi Mack, but right now it’s vague (it’s clearly romantic but they keep calling it “friendship”) and with Disney banning an episode of Star VS. for hiding an mlm kiss in the background and censoring the gay kiss out of Descendants 2 I wouldn’t hold my breath for real or meaningful gay representation from them

there was a gay stereotype villian in an episode of MLP a year or so ago too, but as mentioned above that’s not positive rep it’s actually homophobic (he was the manager to a pony who was a parody of Lady Gaga, “Countess Rara”)
