Twice now over the last ~year where completely inconsequential posts where people miss the point of Labyrinth entirely have gotten me worked up enough that I remember what it's like to be worked up about something that's not serious and not terrifying and I gotta tell ya, it's invigorating.

Why is it always Labyrinth tho

#no disrespect to the commenter on that post they're just deeply wrong #the pther one however #was prokopetz being Incredibly Wrong about the entire theme of the whole movie #to the point that i was crossing out of hyperbolic fannish offense and slipping into genuine offense #man how do you misunderstand a movie that badly #especially one that is not exactly like #deep #look Labyrinth is my favorite movie and always will be #but it's not High Art yknow?
