OOGUGUH . so amny things . id give her a milleion dolers,,,,,,,,,,

honestly i haven't been to a real thrift store in a really long time so i don't fully remember what you can find there. (the one my family frequented when i was a kid closed down :[) however ! she absolutely would be scouring the cardigans and dresses :] she'd look around for anything she could upcycle too, namely clothes that seem a bit more worn than others so the good stuff is left for others. she'd also take her time perusing the dolls and knick knacks, but she wouldn't buy any of it (however....if this is carrie 2002 post prom she would probably build up a small collection of porcelain things, namely animals. especially lambs.)

if i exist in this universe im absolutely convincing her to buy everything she wants n using my own budget to buy her more stuff NDNDNDND

WAIT if i am in this universe she will get to listen to Music........if she heard my stuff she'd be changed in many ways but also a bit jarred out because. music is usually not that loud in her experience. i dislike 100 gecs but if carrie heard it she'd explode i think

ANYWAY..... honestly what she buys would depend on the iteration. 1976 pre-prom carrie would buy a dress that's a little deeper in color than she's usually allowed. 2002 pre-prom carrie would find more fun in window shopping the furniture and laughing to herself about some of the unfortunate clothing styles people threw in their donation box during spring cleaning, but end up buying a nice bracelet and a sweater to hide the bracelet. 2013 pre-prom carrie is like a terrified chihuahua i dont know if she can handle a thrift store BUT with moral support she would try on all the clothes she's not allowed to wear and have a lot of fun that way, then she'd end up buying a gift for her mother along with a more adventurous button up shirt for herself :] (it has baby blue coloring rather than navy blue)

post prom.....i feel they'd all fall in a similar category. they'd all buy nonsense, just anything they can get under the pay limit without much thought or care, simply because they Can and don't have an angry mother waiting to judge and chastise them. in a beautiful and nice world where 2013 carrie survived she'd buy so many pairs of jeans !!!!!!! so many . and she'd hate them all because they were uncomfortable and too warm at times but she still wears them because she Can !!!!!!!!!!!!
