am i the only person who does not care what the taylor's version covers look like or how they sound because at the end of the day all that matters to me is that she gets to own her own music again? like is that not what it's about at the end of the day? an artist getting to own her own music? in the way that every artist should get to own their own work?

#post: personal #it pisses me off so much when people are like “i don't like taylor because of [x] so im going to stream her stolen music” like ....#no actually regardless of whether or not you like someone / whether or not you think they are a “good” person or not. everyone should own t #to quote jamie wespers: it’s all fun and games till someone says artists should be compensated for their art lol !#also like if you are a taylor fan. and you sit through her being so thankful about how we’ve welcomed the rerecordings ...#she's not rerecording the music to give you options ! or to make it fun and cute ! she's rerecording it to OWN her own music again.
