min wage increase was on oct 1 but payday was oct 3 and the cutoff is the saturday b4 so now i gotta wait like 2 weeks 2 find out what kind of bullshit wage increase i got in lieu of an actual annual raise >:|
#b4 this latest min wage increase my pay was 25c above min wage but b4 the PREVIOUS min wage increase i was 30c above#so i swear. to. god. if im LESS than 25c above min wage.... ooooooh boy. idk what ill do. but i will be. very unhappy.#november will be 5 fucking years in this stupid job this pay is so insulting#theyve not even done 'real' raises in 2 years so i literally know ppl who have been here 2 wholeass years who are still at minimum wage#like dgmw i absolutely think min wage should keep going up but also its fucking bullshit that companies can use it as an excuse#to not raise wages. unless ur a supervisor or manager of course. THEY all got raises this year ๐#except my one supervisor i rlly liked who they TOLD would be getting a raise but when he said hed be retiring at the end of the year#they didnt go thru with the raise. so he basically said fuckit and retired in may instead. good for him 100% but also :( sadface 4 me#losing ur favourite coworker 2 complain abt other coworkers with always sux. but also he was just a cool n chill dude
