#don't touch it don't touchhhhh#to my maladapted brain it feels like hhhh#like watching an art student approach the mona lisa with their shiny new paints#let it be faded and dated and weird and special forever please and thanks#ooc#and also i know this doesn't change anything about the game#they're not editing reality lmao#but i know that the show is going to change the overall perception/memory/whatever of this part of the fallout story#and i selfishly stupidly don't want it to change. for anyone. at all#i don't want the endless comparisons that are going to follow#i don't want the this was worse/ this was better/ what does it mean discussions#and yea I know i can just avoid it all#but for all the people who will one day discover this game for the first time#i wish it could just be this for them#i just think it's better than what will follow it
