sorry still got yellowjackets on the brain. anyway am i reading too much into this or was the entire shauna baby hallucination a representation of her attempts to stop the forest / the supernatural from taking her baby away from her?

#since day 1 ive been operating on the assumption that the forest is its own entity and it takes the form of the people it possesses/claims #to interact with the living through visions which is why we get ghoulish laura lee distracting lottie from travis dying by crane in s2 etc #so with the whole shauna thing i read it as an attempt from shauna (on a subconscious level) to prevent the forest from taking her kid #as blood sacrifice. bc a couple eps into s2 i kinda assumed the forest was gonna take her kid from her so it was only a matter of time.#and throughout the dream we see shauna fighting with lottie (the forest's priestess) over possession of the baby until shauna finally sees #the girls (+ coach scott and travis) devouring the baby #and im guessing that this is like. representative of the spiritual struggle shauna went through the keep the forest from taking her baby #obv the hallucination shauna had could mean a bunch of different things #but i do think the overarching tone of the forest's malevolence was pretty prevalent throughout #and could be one of the many different ideas the hallucination represents #cricket.chatterbox
