my last name is ukrainian and a bit weirdly romanized (28 points in english scrabble) so it tends to overwhelm people when they see it but the other day this white guy from BC had to say it. he paused. i internally went oh no. he aced it first try. after completely butchering my first name which is literally a common english name with an e at the end. how
