Hiya!
Is there any new information on the worldbuilding around RSA that you can share?
Hmmmmm....
*Squints at RSA* Oh yeah that place is here.
RSA itself is an all-boys school. They don't have dorms so to speak, but have shared year dormitories. To replace the Housewarden system NRC has, they have the Student Council instead. Seven school leaders who act as the voice of the student body. On the rooster we have Alice!Twist, Rafiki!Twist, My version of Rielle, Jasmine!Twist, my version of Neige, Hercules!Twist, and Louis my twist OC that's Silver's twin brother.
Since they don't have dorms, the main sponsors they had over the centuries got themed areas around the campus. So the Scolding Sands royal family sent funding many years ago and so RSA made an area that reflected the royal family's courtyard garden. Descendants of the Mad Hatter donate money, the school makes an area showcasing the many teacups and hats the Hatter made (Also functions as a boba tea spot). Things like that :3
In my canon, to be fair, I gave the RSA kids a whole new breed of problems that they struggle with. Mostly by making them just have terrible character traits. Some are better than others and actually manage to have positive relationships with their respective NRC boys in the future.
Twist!Alice isn't too involved with any of the NRC boys, but I'm working on him more. The main ones I've been working on are my version of Rielle and Twist!Jasmine, because they are antagonists to their respective NRC boys. Hercules!Twist doesn't mean to clash with Idia as much as they do, it's all a matter of very different personalities. Louis mainly just wants to be a part of Silver's life but because of his parents' views, he thinks it's not possible so long as Silver stays with the fae. Rafiki!twist is actually Kifaji's stepson, so he and Leona have met and Leona is annoyed with him as he is everyone who tries to better his sour attitude.
Since Rielle and Jasmine!Twist are the most worked on so far, I can accept more asks about them if people are curious >;3

Give me your Blyndeff sister headcanons please.
You got it, Boss!
MOLLY BLYNDEFF:
Starting off, I think shes autistic. Look, i know this is low hanging fruit, but i mean... come on...
I have a list of all the nervous tics she has, which include:
Chewing on her hoodie strings
Clicking a pen, mechanical pencil, figit cube
Cracking her body, mostly her hands, fingers and wrists
Chewing her inner cheek
Biting herself
Shaking anything jingly
Nervous hand flappies
Pacing
I also have a list of stims that i kinda projected:
Hand flaps are a big one
Same with fist shaking
Patting her thighs too
She also makes small popping noises
Ok back to ACTUAL headcannons:
Doesnt do well at amusement parks, but is cool about the scary halloweeny stuff
Quiet kid in school on the days she goes
Vocalizes what she does (aka making sounds as she does stuff) (akaaka her walking and she goes "eh eh eh eh")
I feel like she indulges in horror games, thinks the cutesy stuff is boring
Did not realize she was autistic until Trixie said "Thats neat Molly! By the way, did you ever get diagnosed for autism?" After she went on a whole rant about bear facts.
Speaking of facts, hyperfixation/special interest list:
Bears
Pokémon
Lethal company
Any horror game you give her, really
Horror movies
History (this is me protecting)
Actual Headcannons:
Textures are iffy for her
Shes touch seeking but will freak out if she feels or tastes a weird texture like with fleeces or fabrics
Naven triedd to help her with this, but it didn't work out and she spat out the food while apologizing
Likes Rasin Brain, its the only cereal thats not sweet
Drinks black coffee and tea
I feel like she owns a green Nokia with a bear keychain
Music taste is probably those nice music box covers or really quiet piano with rain ambiance.
LORELAI BLYNDEFF:
Shes autistic too, but not at the same spectrum level as Molly
Abandonment Issues
If shes stressed she'll stim while talking out loud to herself
Had HORRIBLE meltdowns when she was younger, she stopped around the time Molly was born since her parents said she had to set an example
Sweet tooth, favorite flavor is Birthday Cake
I can sense she has a Dnd special intrest, most definetly has played Baldurs Gate 3 at some point
Warrior Cats kid
Bedazzles everything she owns
Horrible cook. Dont let her touch an oven
Her and Molly used to infodump together before they started hating eachother
Def a bedazzled flip phone girlie
Idk why but I feel like shes a Chai drinker, no explination I just feel it.
Also really likes Halloweeny stuff
She struggles more with school work than Molly (Proof, her spelling in PoP) but she doesnt want to ask for help cuz she feels stupid about it so she just does it wrong
Full Hyperfixation/Special Intrest List:
Fantasy
Dungeons and Dragons/TTRPGS
Baldurs Gate 3
Rabbits/Bunnies/Etc
Harry Potter (Fuck JKR)
Warrior Cats
Wings of Fire
Percy Jackson
Actual Headcannons:
I feel like shes an Art Kid
Specializes in Pottery and Doodles
Also has taken up plushie making! Without an Epithet, I may add
She doesnt have an issue with texture most of the time; but if she feels any slime or coldness on her hands she'll flip.
She likes the popular music; but secretly loves fantasy game soundtracks and vocaloid. DWEEB!!!! (Me too i get it Lori)
Storing money to go to a Renaissance Faire
She sometimes uses her dream bubbles for Dnd campaigns with the friends she has! Or she would if she had any
I feel like she sits alone at lunch :(
Loves Boba! Tried getting Molly to taste it but she spat out a Pearl
Theater kid. Gut feeling.
Thats all from me, anon! Enjoy!!

hellooooo!! 1 and 16 for the ask game? with all the violence you would like to inflict >:)
Hiiiii! 👋 Ooh boy, these are good ones. Put up your dukes, I've got things to say! (unless you agree, then let's fight off the haters together lol)
the character everyone gets wrong
I'm going off the beaten path of clones (a bit) for this one... Boba Fett.
Now, to be fair, this character has been all over the place in canon. There's gaps in his story. There's legends stuff that some people still mix in to things. So I get how there's different takes or preferences or whatever. This is my take, and I'm throwing fists with both fandom and canon material equally (I'm looking at you Book of Boba Fett...)
Basically, long story short, I think the Mandalorian/Din Djarin stole a lot of Boba Fett's characterization. There is a delicate balance to Fett, where you need to play into the ruthless, faceless, mysterious bounty hunter with sick fight scenes and pithy one-liners... while also allowing for some quiet but meaningful moments of growth or change. And Din took all of that, which meant Boba's characterization had to be redirected elsewhere in canon.
And I see a lot more of the fandom latching on to that new direction instead of the characterization he started with prior to all the new shows and storylines. It's almost the opposite to the problem I have with Wolffe fics; there's too much fluffy tenderness and not enough toughness/badassery. Personally, I just don't care for it and will stick to the Boba Fett I've known since I first got into Star Wars over a decade ago.
16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)
I can understand the why behind most things, even if they aren't my cup of tea. But, one thing I do struggle to understand... mermaid AUs. What is the appeal there?? Of all the half-animal hybrids, why fish? How do you keep a character in-character when they have to swim around to get anything done? That just seems like it'd change a person. I sure would be a different person if I didn't have legs or a shirt and had to swim against tides and seaweed and whatever else is lurking down in the ocean. *shudders*
Good on anyone who likes them I guess, but I don get iiiiiiit. :/

Please tell me more about food because im here eating like the three same meals for the past week tell me all about the variety of baked goods and cooking stuff you got owo it's also interesting how sometimes you would need to go to all kinds of different markets just to find that lil ingredient that isnt normally sold in the country...
Nyush! Right now I'm making oatmeal raisin cookies (completely superior to oatmeal chocolate chip of course!)
Some stuff I've had to buy specifically at asian markets cause normal grocers don't sell them:
Pork belly (the recipe was super good day 1 but did not make good leftovers, it got thick and sludge-like instead of saucy like it had been when fresh), rice flour (though I have started seeing it in local markets, it's becoming more mainstream but about 10 years ago when I was first expirimenting in college I couldn't find it anywhere but small import markets), black sugar which is apparently different from brown sugar! We made our own boba tea with that, tho we made the pearls too big so they were hard to eat...
A lot of fish products- like sure, the grocery has some fresh fish, but if you want anything other than like salmon and shrimp, you gotta go to an Asian market usually, they have super wide selections!!! They also sell other stuff like pigs feet that I've never cooked with, but you can't get in a normal grocery here.
most of my favorite recipes are desserts, cause I'm more of a baker than a cook! My favorites are key lime pie, pumpkin pie, and cheese cake!
My pumpkin pie recipe is superior to every other pumpkin pie recipe I've ever tried, my cheesecake recipes (I have both a baked and a no-bake I favor) are pretty good tho I've had better on occasion, and Nellie's key lime pie recipe is like. So easy to make. And so good. The only key lime pie I've had better than that recipe was at a dessert cafe called Figaro in san Diego California, so I'd say it's pretty damn nice! I can reblog with recipe pictures in a bit!
For meals, I'm not really much of a dinner person like I said. I've got a nice pineapple bean chili recipe I found in a cookbook once that I really like, but it makes crazy huge portions so unless you wanna do math to like 1/4 it, it's better to make it when friends are around. I also have a broccoli casserole recipe that's pretty good!
to be fair I've modified that recipe so much from what's in the book it's probably unfair to call it the same recipe at this point xD
...you know what probably better to just multi reblog with pictures n shit

Daishogun Hachi Shrine, Taishogun Shopping Street, and Onsen
Today began late again at around 11am followed by getting ready for the day and then going to my friends house to meetup for lunch. We decided on a Shabu Shabu place called “Washoku Sato”, Shabu Shabu is a popular Japanese form of dining, which is similar to hotpot. You choose your raw meat from options such as japanese beef, ribs, chicken, beef tongue, and much more. You then can pick from different types of broth and you then dip your food into the broth for about a minute until it is fully cooked and ready to eat. This usually makes it very juicy and adds the flavor of the broth to the meat. This particular place had an option for all you can eat which I was pretty excited about. They had an ipad at the table where you could order whatever you wanted, ranging from all sorts of types of thinly sliced meat, to yakitori, to dumplings, to vegetables, and even a few types of desserts. We had 80 minutes to eat as much as we wanted with no limits. I feel like I gained about 10 pounds from this meal alone as we continually ordered meat and other various ingredients until i could not longer physically stuff food down my gullet. The dessert was good as well, as we ordered mango gelato, churros, and sesame dumpling with red bean paste inside to conclude the delicious meal.
Tumblr media
After this delectable meal, we rode our bikes over to Taishogun shopping street, which is a famous street known for having statues and other depictions of Japanese folklore monsters, unfortunately the weather was subpar and rainy so we didn’t see much. However, we stumbled upon a random aquarium store which I was pretty stoked to see.
Tumblr media
I had been hoping to find myself at a fish store in Japan, and today was my lucky day. They had a massive assortment of goldfish and koi, in all different shapes sizes and colors. Ranging from telescope, oranda, pearlscale, ranchu, shubunkin, and everything in between. They also had a massive amount of Japanese Medaka Rice fish, which I am a massive fan of. Naturally, they are also very popular here in Japan and you can often find them in large bowls outside of houses along with aquatic plants and moss. They also had quite the selection of tropical fish including angelfish, danios, convict-parrot hybrids, corydoras, and many others that i’m too lazy to list.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After having my fair share of aquarium store time, we happened upon a random shrine nearby, called the Daishogun Hachi Shrine. Which was originally built in 794, and commissioned by Emperor Kanmu at the north-west corner of the Imperial Palace, to break evil of what was considered an unlucky direction. This shrine was pretty cool and I enjoyed ringing the many bells they had which are meant to get the attention of the gods similar to clapping before prayer, as well as to bring the gods down for protection.
Tumblr media
After this, we decided to hit up an Sento to relax our muscles and recharge. If you don’t know, Sento/Onsen is the traditional Japanese public bathing facility, which has multiple different heated baths, showers, outdoor baths, and even low current electric baths which contain live metal electrodes that induce a slight shock through your body giving a minor tingling sensation. The onsen was an interesting experience, but it is so uniquely Japanese that I felt like I would miss out by not doing it. I did not expect to see tons of old naked Japanese men when I woke up today, but nonetheless here I am. The bath was actually pretty relaxing after I got over the whole being nude around other people part of it. I chilled out in multiple of the baths for a while, though my favorite was the outdoor one as the dichotomy between the cool rainy air and the warm sento water was pretty nice.
Tumblr media
After the onsen, I went back to my hotel to do laundry as I was fresh out of clean clothes. Once my laundry was all done, I went to get Boba tea with my friend, as I love boba and have not had any since i’ve been in Japan. We went to a Boba place nearby called “Ben Gongs Tea”, I ordered a brown sugar milk tea with tapioca, and finished as fast as it came out.
Tumblr media
Once the boba was all gone we headed back to hangout for a bit and have some honeycomb toast. This reminded me of the scene from a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, where Snoopy and the gang are going crazy making tons of toast beast mode style. https://youtu.be/Jgcib3g5Zgg?feature=shared

caitlin hi!! it’s been a minute 😭 but omg let me tell you the surprise i got seeing channie + wolf chan in your insta this morning 😭😭 i hadn’t put together that you’re stay too 🥺 tell me about your cup sleeve event!! i’ve been wanting to go to the ones in my area but i am too shy to go alone LOL i will live vicariously through you 🩷🩵 ((also feel free to text me about skz/kpop in general, i will never say no)) ok kusjesss ✨💛
Ahh hi sarah!!! it really has omg, how are yoou?
Ahahaha surprise!! Yeah I am! Was pretty recent development tbh, only really started listening to them at the beginning of the year. A lot of my mutuals were posting about them and my tiktok started spamming me with their content so I just kinda got sucked in 😅
Yeah the cup sleeve!! It was sooo cute, obviously it was for chan and it was like in the downstairs of a bubble tea place so there was just an entire room dedicated to fanmade merch. It was honestly the sweetest thing! Got some cute little pcs and a phone charm 🥰 (and bubble tea ofc, it was this like strawberry boba nut milk thing and omg it was SO GOOD. Sad that the shop is like over an hour away from me or else I'd go back)
There was a lix one too on the same day that I'd planned to go to bc it worked out to be just round the corner from the other one but there were train strikes so I had to go home early 😭 Legit walked all the way over there, saw there was a massive queue and had to turn around and leave to go to the train station, so annoying. At least I got to go to one of them though!!
Omg no honestly I was so nervous!! I'd never been to one before and I was planning on meeting up with some girls I'd met on insta but we ended up going at different times so I just dragged my sister along (she isn't a stray kids fan but I promised to buy her lunch so it felt like a fair trade ahaha). It would be so great if we lived closer, I'd be so down to go to one with you :(( But yeah, let me know if you ever go to one! I'd love to know how you got on!!
And yess definitely I'd love to talk to you about it anytime!! Omg have you seen about their new comeback??? Funny calling it that like they ever LEFT but yeah ajjddhjf
Hope you're having an amazing day and it was so lovely hearing from you!!! Lots of love ❤️

I always feel bad for coming in here and just ranting about my problems, cause I know yet aren’t that bad but I can’t really talk to anyone in person here about them and I just feel a little bit better talking here because I feel it’s actually genuine.
But have you ever had someone pray on your down fall, or unknowingly do it? If that makes sense… but I’ve had ppl say they truly didn’t think I’d make it this far, to my face, and weirdly enough I could handle it. I took that and pushed my way to get athletic and academic scholarships. But just now for a project we had in physics only one person in our group had to turn it in, which the professor didn’t say that so we were all working on it. But when we figured it out they called and told me cause I was still working on it but I had don’t all the graphs and formulas and sent it so I could help them out. I asked if they got them and they go “uhhh yeah imma be honest, they weren’t right…” UM HELLO. Thanks for telling me before I turned it in?!?
Like it won’t hurt my feelings if you tell me I’m wrong, give me some advice on how to do it right, but it DOES hurt knowing that your weren’t going to tell me and let me get a bad grade. Thanks. That right there made me lose all trust in those two girls. Girls that I’m taking multiple classes with and am also on the same team with.
I know you get a lot of ppl who like to talk and tell you what’s going on in life, and I think it’s because YOU are a TRUSTWORTHY person, a GENUINE person who wants what’s best for people. So thank you, and all the other online friends for being some of the few people who are like that, holy shit. I know I’m being dramatic but right now I can’t tell if I’m more pissed or sad that it all happened.
But PLEASE distract me tell me all the things in your life right now, good or bad, if you’d like. Tell me fun things that have happened or things you’re excited about!! I’d love to know if you’re doing amazing:)🖤🖤
Holy shit, Mo. In all genuine honesty, fuck those people. Like, seriously. I'm sorry that you have to do so much with them. I think people are so afraid of conflict that they unintentionally create it by being like this. Or maybe they just genuinely don't care--either way it's not a great way to live your life or communicate with other people. And it isn't a reflection on you it's a reflection on them. Ok, enough of that. My life? Christ, Mo. My life is BORING haha. Let's see, my library is planning a solar eclipse party for whatever day in October the partial Solar Eclipse is. We're BARELY getting any actual eclipse but we got sent five billion eclipse glasses and we love an excuse for programming. (And we're getting a full eclipse in April so this is our practice run). So that's going to be my fun work thing for the next couple of weeks! I saw one of my best friends over the weekend. I don't see her much anymore since she left her husband and moved in with her new boyfriend 2 1/2 hours away. But that's alright, she is SO MUCH happier. I made her a little dumpster fire crochet (she immediately named him Daniel). We judged the clueless out of staters for a few hours at a weird craft fair thing we went to, and then we went to the book store and got boba tea and it was just a really wonderful day. I'm in a writing group that's supposed to last from August-May and the end goal is to have a finished draft/self-published book by the end of it. So that is super exciting. I'm working on a story I've been trying to tell for YEARS. I'm just hoping to get it out of my head. It has nothing to do with fantasy, or smut, or ghouls. But I'm hoping it will help me process some shit. It's exciting, I am unmotivated, but I'll make it work haha. Everyone else in the writing group is like 10-40 years older than me so it is a WILD experience. I sort of feel out of place with all these "adults" who read their fancy literary books and I'm over here like "well...I...read books for fun so they have to be fun!" I feel like the dumb little kid in the room. Which I'm pretty used to at this point in my life. But I have faith in my own skill, and I've worked with the guy running it before in short story programs he's done and he has faith in my skill, so I am unbothered by being the weird young person in the room. I am worried that I'm going to get to May had have nothing to show for it--but eh, we'll see when we get there. Please never feel bad about coming to me to vent/talk. I'm glad you know that you can just come into my ask box and decompress from the bullshit. Everyone deserves a place like that. Sending you love and hugs if you want them. And, seriously, fuck those people.

▶▶ LOADING … preparation for prom ( lgcuniversity ) w/ @lgceunhye
between their schedules with classes, the unfortunate thing about pursuing two different majors was that their classes no longer frequently overlapped. although when there was a course, whether it was an elective or a main class that did cross paths, it was fortunate that they could usually try to take the same one or at least study the same material. it's a bit blurry after the years whether they'd initially taken a drawing course together, or a language one, but through the years, it was a pleasant blessing, leading up to their eventual graduation and well, first and foremost: the upcoming prom.
he's never been a very public person with private matters, keeping them to himself or keeping it quiet. so no, there would be no grandiose declaration in front of the steps, or worse, in a lecture. brave be the soul that dares that, but surely it would not be him. he'd texted eunhye earlier for the pair of them to meet in one of their typical spot where they would gather to study that was outside of the library, so that they wouldn't be confined by the glares and rules of silence. and also, if the stricter librarian was there, the no outdoor food or drinks rule. ( come on, it's a university! we are starving students here... )
yushin arrives, a little clumsily, but to be fair, his hands are full as he settles down at the table, sending a text to eunhye quickly. he places all of the boba he'd just purchased, and it does seem a bit overkill, but there were 4 drinks here. the shop had been kind enough to work with him on him writing a message on the bottom of the drinks with a sharpie first, so ultimately, to avoid overdosing on sugar, he'd ordered the smaller sizes and got a larger variety of flavours instead- considering how she'd have to get to the bottom of the drinks to actually read what he wrote on them.
[ sns → eunhye ]  ⇒ i made it here, text me if you're being held up, ok? :)

☕️ hello! I don’t have a favorite coffee place, that I can think of. I do appreciate one that serves coffee and ice cream though. To be honest coffee makes me feel kind of horrible though, so I prefer tea. I think tea lattes are very good, and once at a fair I had the best sweet tea I’ve ever tried, and I wish I could recreate it but it never tastes the same. That fair also had very good ice cream. I think I just miss summer. I also like bubble tea. The first time I ever had it was with someone who really loves sugary things, so he recommended I get the slushy kind and it was good, but very very sweet, and now I’ve found that I prefer milk tea. I’m the kind of person who will mix store bought juice with water because it’s too sweet. Tbh halfway through this I forgot what else you said to talk about, so I just kept talking about drinks.
What’s your favorite kind of tea?
I honestly get that about coffee, it can sometimes make me feel icky so I tend to not have it everyday anymore, just special occasions. When it comes to tea I love my chai! There's so many ways to make it too, my friend makes us this amazing Burmese chai with condensed milk, im actually not a huge fan of milk tea boba, it takes like cold chai which I've kinda been reinforced to dislike just cus that's the worst thing you could serve your guest... 😂 summer is simmering here and we're about to have some festivals too! We went to a small art gallery opening at the immigration museum and got to try lots of middle eastern drinks! My fave was a hibiscus tea

6. do you wear a watch?
i answered this previously (no but id like to) so im just going to add more details bc i love watches- i collect watch faces on the occasion i find some :D i found a huge box of old watches at a flea market once and spent fifteen minutes digging through it (clutching my doom patrol comics in one hand and scoungering crouched down with the other) which was exciting but unfortunately none of them yelled out to me to take them home so I didn't, plus my mom was :\ bc she Just had to buy me ten doom patrol comics (to be fair. They Were A Dollar Each.) however i miss them and hope they are well
18. your boba/tea order?
i only ever order lemonade when i get drinks (or coke zero or root beer) and i dont like boba tea BUT. i have been experimenting with tea on my own. i only drink earl grey but i also have this london fog tea concentrate that i rlly love, but the original brand i got DISAPPEARED so i have to get the more expensive less cool looking packaged one. i dont know the counts of sugars and creams but i go until it's a nice medium beige :] i prefer having more tea taste to soy/oat milk but with tea concentrate it's easy to get too much tea so i have yet to master that area of pouring
26. how’s your spice tolerance?
AH i don't know. i can eat takis and spicy ramen and be fine (besides like itching in my mouth but spice just does that) but one time i ate jalapeños when i was fifteen and i nearly died. i actually have a video of it bc my friend recorded me and it's just the most autistically masked man in a bill n ted shirt suffering, it's quite the spectacle :] i will say i don't often eat spicy foods simply bc i need to be in the right headspace for any food or drink that's strongly Anything, like i got a blue raspberry lemonade drink with food once and i got a bit sick bc i wasnt ready for how sweet it was gna be (it did not taste like lemonade at ALL. false advertising. but also it's denny's and i don't trust them in the first place.) id say like. moderate. Maybe Slightly Below Average but it depends on the day
weirdly specific and unrelated asks to know someone well

yesterday i hosted debates for the common core. as a teacher, and someone who used to teach, i do try to be as neutral as possible when grading. i try not to play favorites, but it's very hard to and it's probably very hard for a lot of teachers to, i realise. i think i find a natural affinity with some students, and i want to root for some, more than others, because they remind me of me. and it's this personal bias that i try to suppress as much as possible when grading....that's how i know it's not a fair world...it's just too hard and in the end, i still feel like i'm so biased. so we set rules and standards.
but that made me realise how effective rhetoric is. it's not about what you say, but how you say it. how you do it with confidence, how you do it with conviction. you provide proof, or evidence. you provide personal anecdotes. you use anecdotes. etc. etc.
so i tried to grade those that clearly referred back to our lectures + field trips more with better grades...but who's to say that makes your argument better? it just makes you a better student in the class. is it most important to listen to what we say? or develop your own opinions and understanding? your lived experiences could be just as valid as what we teach you.
i'll revisit. it's not that important i guess. i remember teaching at jinsha jr high was hard because that was the most stressful job i always thought abut my students and i would get grey hairs and i looked ghastly. teaching is seaux hard you are literally a parental guardian. a baby sitter. college is easier bc everyone is more cooperative, but still.
anyways, because i was in such an autumnal mood, i went to midwest vintage to try to reflect a state of mind. i picked out a blue half zip jumper, a yellow thermal shirt thing, and then a random grey sports t-shirt. primary colors. reminds me of thrifting in college and how fun that was. actually, it would have been during these times. october break...fall....i remember christa and sophia and literally running around brooklyn. thrifting is so fun. it's literal foraging. its a hobby, shopping. looking through what reflects a state of mind.
it's still fun! it takes energy though not gonna lie, shopping. imagining the fit, imagining the object. i love it. i chose things. i think my style now is early 2000s boy band. simple things. all the things i chose honestly were dirty, like stains visibly lmao. but i love that. a lived in object. a thing with a history. a reused thing. a relived life.
simple things! simple boy looks. effortless....cosy....thats my vibe as of late.
i want a coconut latte......where has the best one?
oh also after thrifting i got a sesame paste noodle and osmanthus bubble tea from some random place. worst meal in a while. worst boba of my life actually lol. horrible bubbles. bad taste. almost got queezy. it kind of did the trick though. when i bit into an osmanthus petal, i was taken to a place. this flower man. it was bad, but it was good. you know what i mean?

Restaurant Review #2 - Caffetto
Last Tuesday, the Big Back Warriors went out to Caffetto in Minneapolis, which isn't a restaurant, but it's close enough. Caffetto isn't your average coffee shop. The best way I can describe it is a vintage indie maximalist home away from home. An interesting thing to note is that it is the only coffee shop open past midnight in the city! There was a ton of decor from local artists, which I thought was awesome. There were also board games and magazines that customers could use. But the focal point of the shop is the basement, which has a ton of pinball machines! The walls of the basement are covered in art, messages, phone numbers, and drawings of genitalia — all made by visitors. The vibes in the basement is much more creepy compared to the vibes on the first floor, but still a unique feel. The drinks were pretty good, there was a variety of coffee, tea, and bottled soda. I got a Vanilla Maple Cold Press, which was okay, but I found myself preferring my friends drinks. They got a hot chocolate, Thai coffee, caramel latte, and a chai. I thought the prices were fair as well. I mean, compared to the upwards of $8 I'd spend on boba, I thought $4-5 was pretty good!
This would be an awesome place to visit if you're studying or doing work. I would definitely take advantage of the cheap drinks, late hours, and entertainment. I will give Caffetto an 8.5/10, points docked due to creepiness...

Sweet Tea & Cigarettes
Chapter 6

“So, spill the tea, what did I miss?” Ginette asked excitedly, her voice high and bubbly.
“Well school was the same old same old, but if you’re asking about my life then girl, I’ve got the tea right here in my hand,” Hazel says with a smirk on her face.
Ginette looked at her friend with expecting eyes.
“Ok, so you know that guy I ran into on the first day of school, right?”
Ginette nodded her head.
“Ok, so when you were gone me and him may have started talking.”
Ginette butts in and says, “Wait are you two dating ?!”
Hazel's eyes go wide as she looks at her friend, completely shocked “What no, I meant we just started hanging out like sitting together in class, and studying together, that sort of stuff, ya know?”
Ginette stares at Hazel with a blank expression.
“So do you or do you not like him?” Ginette asked bluntly.
“Ginette, would you keep your voice down, what if someone heard you?” Hazel says not answering the question.
She laughed at Hazel's flustered expression.
Ginette puts a hand on her friend’s shoulder “Girl chill I’m not like your old friends remember.”
Hazel sighs.
“Ya, I know” she smiles.
“But you will have to introduce me to your future husband” Ginette snickers.
This causes Hazel to hit her friend over the head with her notebook.
After that, the two went on with their day as normal. Although Hazel thought it was weird that she hadn't seen Nathaniel all day, but she just brushed, it off it wouldn't be the weirdest thing to happen.
After lunch, the two walked to potions class. When they got their Hazel noticed that Nathaniel was also not in this class, of all the classes he'd gone to this was definitely one of them, so she just assumed that he wasn't there at school that day which made her sad but there wasn't really much she could do about it.
Ginette had noticed Hazel's unpleasant expression “Hey what's up is everything ok?”
Hazel looked at Ginette “Oh um, it's nothing.”
“Are you sure, you seem kind of out of it?”
“Yeah, I'm fine, promise,” Hazel says trying to reassure her friend.
Ginette noticed her friend trying to deflect the question or brush off whatever she was feeling but she decided to just let it go for now.
After school, the two girls spent time together in black water for a while. The duo ended up at a coffee shop that sold not only coffee of all kinds but also a variety of boba drinks.
Hazel ordered a hot caramel mocha and Ginette had ordered a Thai milk tea her usual.
The two sat in the corner of the coffee shop and began to play one of their all-time favorite games Uno but it wasn't just any regular Uno, it was Uno show ‘em no mercy. The game had more cards and more penalties, you could pile on plus 4’s and so on so one person could draw like 18 plus cards all at once, but no one can have more than 25 cards, if you do then you’re out of the game, but this game was just starting to heat up.
Hazel smirked placing a draw 4 on top of Ginette’s draw 4.
Ginette’s face dropped.
“Hey that's not fair” she argued.
“All is fair in our game of Uno my friend,” Hazel says with a big smirk on her face.
Ginette picked up 8 cards and is currently holding 16 cards total, all while Hazel's hand consisted of only 4 cards.
The stakes were kind of high, whoever lost had to buy themselves and the winner whatever food the winner requested, and it was looking like Hazel was about to win.
“UNO!” Hazel yells excitedly.
Ginette throws her cards down on the table “That's totally not fair!”
Hazel laughs at her friend.
“So, you're hungry Gigi?” Hazel asked smugly.
Her friend sighed “I guess, what do you want?”
Hazel pretended to think for a second even though she already knew what she wanted” Let's get chicken katsu!”
Ginette sighs “Alright, let's go”
Hazel practically jumped out of her seat and followed behind her friend, since Ginette only knew one place that had chicken katsu that Hazel liked, other than homemade of course.
Ginette held the door for her friend. This amazing place was called Fried Fever, this place sold fried Asian food and yeah other places sold it too but who could pass this up really, their prices were out of this world cheap.
Walking in the two girls smelled the amazing aroma of the deep fryer, the inside adorned with Reds and oranges and with accent colors of blues and golds. The aesthetic was more like traditional Chinese restaurants.
Hazel and Ginette were seated at a booth, Hazel only looked at the menu for any possible new drinks that they had, since she already knew what she wanted to eat.
“Oh, this one looks good,” Hazel said pointing to one of the new drinks.
“Which one?”
“The creamy brown sugar milk tea, it makes my mouth water just thinking about it.”
Ginette quirked her eyebrow and smirked, Hazel always ordered some form of brown sugar milk tea ‘…if Ginette knew any better, she'd think that Hazel was definitely addicted…”
The waitress walked over to their table a familiar face that wasn't anything new “Are you two ready to order?”
The girls both nod.
“OK, would you like your usual Miss Hazel?”
Hazel smiles at the fact that she had been there so much that they already knew what she had wanted.
“Yes please, but could I also get the creamy brown sugar milk tea.”
“Of course, and for you Miss Ginette?”
“I'll get the gyoza in the wrong tongue soup and some green tea please”
the waitress nods “ok I'll be right back with your orders.”
Hazel looked at her friend in confusion before asking “Why did you get what I like?”
“What, I can't like the same things as you?”
“Of course, you can't I was just surprised as all.”
“Besides you'll leave off my plate no matter what I get” Ginette states.
Hazel laughed, that's one thing she's renowned for, eating off other's plates. For the two it was almost like a tradition. They had always done it so neither of them minded.
Soon enough their eating came to an end, and it was time for them to leave. Surprisingly, it hadn't gotten dark like Hazel had thought it would. But then again, the times hadn't been set back yet so it was good for them. And the two had decided to take a trip to Ginette’s House and hang out there for a bit.
Spring Valley Station. It didn't take long for people to understand why it was named so. No matter the time of year, there'd always be flowers somewhere. Whether it was rain or shine, dry or flooding, there were always flowers.
Ginette’s Two-story house soon came into view. The house was a beautiful Baby blue. A choice that her mother had full control over. The thought of her friend’s parents fighting over who got to choose what the house looked like made Hazel chuckles to herself. Her parents had always been amazing. Even to her, despite the fact that she wasn't their daughter.
As they walked in Hazel was greeted by Ginette’s Parents.
It always surprised her that their home was so clean and fresh. No matter what happened, one thing they always did consistently was to make sure their home was nice and tidy. Even if there wasn't anyone coming over. Hazel had seen how her parents’ ways affected her friend and how she was also very much like her mom in that way. The house was colored with blues, yellows, and whites.
Hazel and Ginette scurry up the stairs into Ginette’s room. Hazel flops onto Ginette's bed arms and legs sprawling out like a starfish.
Hazel sighs “I love your bed; it may not be as good as mine, but it will do.”
Ginette laughs “Well thanks, I guess”.
Her laughter soon changed into a look of annoyance “Hey my bed is way better than yours!”
Hazels gives her friend a side eye looking her up and down. “Oh, sure you do”.
She smirks “I mean every time you’re at my house you insist on sleeping on MY bed”.
Ginette’s mouth formed a line as she looked away not wanting to face the truth. Hazel rolled her eyes at her friend before turning on her back still looking at her friend now her view of Ginette was upside down. Ginette soon joined Hazel on the bed. Ginette sits by the headboard her back against the pillows.
“So, I was thinking we could watch some anime,” Ginette said leaning to her nightstand to grab the remote.
“What anime were you thinking about?” Hazel asked lifting her head.
“Oh, just the newest season of your favorite anime of all time”
Hazel's eyes go wide with shock “No way did the story of the Ages get a new season?!”
Ginette nodded at her friend watching as Hazel quickly sat up almost falling off the bed in the process. Ginette smiles lovingly at Hazel; the once shy and timid girl she once knew has now grown into such a beautiful girl, Ginette never felt luckier.
Hazel adjusted herself so she was now laying on her stomach once more wrapping herself in Ginette banket.
Ginette lets out a breathy laugh “You’re such a weirdo, ya know that?”
“Ya, but I’m your weird, lovely, blanket Burrito”.
Ginette rolls her eyes and turns the TV on.
The hours passed and by the end of things it was already 7 pm and it was far past dark. Ginette’s mom had made a Filipino dish called sinigang, which was a type of soup that had pork, tamarind, garlic, onion, and cabbage.
Hazel excitedly took some home with her Hazel had always loved Ginette’s mother's cooking. That food wasn’t something she could just give up; Hazel would rather die than not eat that food again.
“Bye Ginette, Bye Lucinda” Hazel had said her goodbyes to her friend and her friend's mother Lucinda who were standing in the doorway watching Hazel leave.
Hazel focused her eyes forward and was on her way.
Hazel walked in the dark from Ginette’s house all the way to the station it was cold and the only light that she could see was from the streetlamps which there weren’t many of. And it was only going to get darker as winter soon approached. She held her hands to her mouth in an attempt to keep her hands from freezing.
Hazel waited impatiently for the train to arrive when all of a sudden, she felt something brush up angst her leg. This made her flinch and look down at the source of the feeling her eyes meeting amber cat eyes peering up at her. She quickly recognized the cat from their previous meeting, and she smiled.
" Hey kitty” she cooed, kneeling to pet the cat, scratching behind its ear the cat began to purr.
The sound of the train soon filled their ears. The cat jumped and hissed at the train, this caused Hazel to giggle and look down at the cat. The train pulled up and the doors opened swiftly.
Hazel walked up to the doors and turned around looking at the cat “Well are you coming?”
To Hazel's surprise, the cat followed her onto the train, she was starting to believe that the cat could understand her. That cat hopped onto her lap once she sat down. Once she made it to her stop, she carefully placed the cat on the ground and walked off the train. To Hazel's surprise, the cat followed her off the train.
The cat never stopped following her, she tried numerous times to shoo the cat away but no matter what she did the cat never left her side. She had no idea whose cat this was or where he came from.
Before she made it to her house, she gave the cat one final pat on the head before saying, “Thanks for walking home kitty, my little bodyguard”.
He only left once she reached her front door; he sat in the driveway watching her with his amber eyes. She gave him a small wave before walking into her house. His eyes burned holes into the door before eventually turning to walk away.

9/4/23
It could be the lack of sleep it could be the frustration of not being able to fucking eat anything and not being able to pinpoint why but then again it could just be that it's my bday and I get weird on my bday. As you should. Bottom line i feel bitchy much bitchier today than yesterday and yesterday was already kinda bitchy well it's probably same level of bitchiness but today there's gonna be more people and more triggers and it'll be much harder to make sure I don't snap and say the wrong thing to the wrong person
The thought is appreciated it's nice that you wanted to get me something but when people don't get me something I can appreciate that ok they respect that I didn't want anything but when you get me something regardless then it's like..wow you went through all that effort to show me how little you know me? Aw thanks
I mean what have I ever owned that's fucking pink. And bright yellow. And the expression is cute yes but the creepy kinda overly cute like when people have extremely sweet stuff. It's something I would get for little everyone who gave it to me before I get it for myself because it fits literally all of them more than it fits me.
And I hate people leaving me to decorate and prepare stuff for my own bday. I never asked for it it's nice but I don't really want it it's just that people actively telling me to leave ik that's not how they mean it but it's really hard not to take it like that and it makes me feel far lonelier than if they had just not done anything at all for it.
And I really do hate surprises.
And I really hate not liking any of this because ik they did try and they did put in effort and it just makes me feel unreasonable and bitchy to not like it and appreciate it like a normal person.
I really wish I could just disappear till the days over and show up tomorrow and everythings back to normal.
I genuinely feel fucking horrible i could cry i really want to i wish people would leave me alone
The wishes are nice tho. It's nice when people do remember and wish you. I wouldn't have minded if they didn't but it's nice when they do.
......
Ok my mood got better as the day went by.
They meant to get me the boba tea plushie but they couldn't so they got me this. Which technically I knew. Fair.
Taruns gift was cute too the card especially.
Spent most of the day with him and it was actually extremely nice. Lunch was nice desert was nice killing time was nice. The celebrations were also nice and i didn't even get cake on me. He was gonna kiss me. Actually going to. And we almost did. It was really really close but I got too nervous. He's really sweet and considerate and I'm glad things are how they are.
