yes🤤 i keep a lot of characters as they are really, i just fill in some gaps and add onto their personality and relationships with other characters... also this ended up having more info about belarus instead SORRY. but technically ukraine (or the lack of) plays a role in that development so. here we go.

quite important is that she's physically and mentally progressed a bit past her peers. she's around 31 now? rus is still 24. i think they did not grow up in tandem, her and him were like. 15 & 10, 18 & 16, 23 & 18-20, 27 & 24... yeah.

i like to burden her with eldest sister parentless overly responsible trying her best syndrome... she's Secretly scary to contrast the accidental rus scary and overt bel scary. i have more hcs for the whole trio's backstory as a whole than individually tbh... i think ukraine is more absent by the time she's 18. she tries having a life and has other responsibilities too. rus later tries taking over caring for bel to kind of compensate for ukraine caring for him but he's overly like. permissive, tolerant and doting and now as a result bel doesn't really respect ukraine (or anyone really. i wouldn't even say she "respects" rus, just idealizes him.) and is uuh a certified violent weirdgirl like her brother, except she's fully aware and unremorseful. (i also genuinely don't think she actually wants wants him btw. i think she's just more attached to him than anyone else so that's how it registers to her and she doesn't actively want new relationships either.)

now they're Not as close as before and there are hard feelings but uuh. they kind of all hope for the better. whatever that better may mean.
