Gelato (Francis x Angus) is my TNMN otp. If I'm being honest I mostly just ship them because of aesthetics but I think Angus's shady extroverted nature contrasts well with Francis's overworked demeanor

Gelato is a super cute name- I didn't even know Francis x Angus had a ship name till now.

Headcanon below!

Angus is for sure a wildcard, but in a loveable kind of way- I'm sure that by the time Angus moved into the apartment, Francis was already dealing with enough as-is, and the last thing he needed was a very respectable and totally not shady businessman hanging around him while he just wanted to get a good night's sleep...

...or maybe he did need him. Despite being a couple of floors apart, Angus (or anyone with two eyes, really) could see that Francis is overworked and needs to take time to destress. Angus would absolutely take the time out of his day to go up to floor three and drop by to make sure that Francis has a little fun in his day, whether it be having a drink, taking him out on the town, or just taking to each other in their apartment until it's time to sleep.

At first, Francis was overwhelmed by the constant surprise visits and the thought of going outside of the apartments for something other than work, groceries, or paying bills was virtually nonexistent to him since the dopplegangers became a significant threat. The fact that Angus doesn't seem to care about the threat of dopplegangers confused the heck out of Francis, but he couldn't bring himself to not hang out with the most interesting person he's been around in a long time.

The longer they hung around each other, the more understanding Angus was of Francis' situation (working hard to support himself and make sure he's still in Anastacha's life) and Francis loosened up a bit so he wasn't just working and sleeping every day. In spite of his usual look of indifference, Francis genuinely can't wait until his dates with Angus.

...though asking about what kind of business Angus does still hasn't come up yet. If Angus smirks in the face of a doppleganger, Francis doesn't want to know what he does for a living.

When We Get Married

Summary: Izaack and Angus discuss their life plans once the latter returns home.

A/N: Hi guys! First time kinda making TNMN fic, so... Hope you enjoy! I plan to make some Gelato and Newsplane in the future, so lmk if yall like this! :)

The apartment, their apartment, was cluttered with pretty, unessential trinkets. Goblets of fake gold, counterfeit paintings that Angus likely didn't know or didn't care that weren't originals, and worst of all was the jewelry. Angus didn't even wear jewelry typically, and Izaack didn't care for it. Yet, with every heist, the small energetic man would roll his chair into the apartment, lavished in pearls, jewels and gold chains. Izaack had to constantly report his darling's antics on the news, robberies and burglaries of all different sorts. And yet, every time... With a big, stupid smirk on his face...

"Izzy! I got some shinies!" It made no sense to him. Angus made no sense to him. But he supposed that's why he loved Angus. The small, energetic criminal made no sense, and that was lovely. Wrapping his arms around the chair, he pulled the small man into a warm embrace. "My darling angel..." Izaack pressed soft kisses up and down Angus' neck. The smaller man melted into his grasp, humming softly.

"Amore, how have you been? Has it been lonely without me?" Izaack smirked while brushing his finger on his boyfriend's ear. "Always is, my dear. It's never the same without you here."

The small man let out a hearty laugh as he rolled his chair to the kitchen. "This place is too small to start a family... How I want to start a family with you, mio amore! To hear the tiny pitterpatter of small feet running through our halls..." He shook his head in dissapproval. "This is no place where a child can play!" The larger male tapped his cheek with his pointer. "Where would you like to move to then, my love?" "The mountains," Angus squeed.

Izaack was taken aback. "We simply cannot just move to the mountains of all places-" The small man pouted. "Then I want a big house on a river, where I can nap on the porch on hazy summer afternoons..." Sighing, the larger male gave Angus a kiss. "I will get you your house, darling. Just you wait."

The small man chuckled as they exchanged kisses, many kisses. Their lips pressed against each others for multiple, long, sensual seconds. After exchanging these pecks of affection, they stood stood still for a moment. Time seemed to slow to a crawl as they held each other in a deep hug. Taking in each others scent, breathing softly, letting the seconds tick by...

"Izaack," Angus whispered. The taller man opened his bright blue eyes and glanced down. "Darling."

"Let's get married, mio amore."

Frangus (Gelato) drabbles because they’re everythin’ to me:

• Angus always visits Francis’ apartment when he’s free. Whenever he does, he brings a cup of black coffee with no milk in hopes it will give the man more energy.

• Angus loves to receive gifts whilst Francis likes to give them. (Can be the other way around!)

•Sometimes, when Angus is about to leave for work, he finds little gifts like chocolate or a bouquet of flowers from Francis at his doorstep.

• Angus has a lot of debt because of his unhealthy gambling addiction, so sometimes he asks Francis for money. (He never says no)

• Whenever he can, Francis lends Angus some of the milk bottles he’s delivering so he can bake some homemade Cannolis that they can share after his shift.

• Francis sometimes pretends not to know Angus at all whenever he greets him because he thinks it’s embarrassing to be in a relationship.

• But when it’s just him and Angus, he’s a complete lover boy, showering him in all the affection he can.

• Whenever Francis is feeling down, he writes in a diary. Angus is the only one he’s ever let read it.

• Francis’ favourite food is the meals Angus cooks him.

• Francis met Angus in an alleyway. At the time, he needed money to provide for himself with after his divorce, so in his desperation, he made a deal with him. Little did he know, tha’ man would be the very same one he would fall in love with.

Sometimes, it’s not good to be too on edge. For Francis, it costed him the man he loved most.

Nacha and Francis had only been together once, it was a miracle that they had conceived. It had been at a time Nacha was deeply unhappy in her current marriage and when Francis was deeply in denial of his homosexuality.

Nacha knew when she discovered the pregnancy that it couldn’t be her husband’s. She rushed to get a divorce from him and happened to move into the apartment Francis was also living in.

Francis felt bad about having an illegitimate child and tries to be a part of his daughter’s life despite barely having a relationship with her mother.

He is in a secret romantic relationship with Angus. He frequently visits his apartment.

He comes out to Nacha, who is respectful of his wishes to keep things under wraps but is discreetly uncomfortable with homosexuality. Francis is deeply afraid of Anastacha finding out.
