Take Me to the Pilot - Hera's Super Awesome Road Trip Playlist

Here's a playlist I made for @spiralvore's fic, "Take Me to the Pilot" for the Fiction Podcast Big Bang 2021!

7. Is there a specific song where you prefer Elton's or Taron's version? If yes, which one and why? Yeah actually, I like Taron's version of tmttp more coz the original is just so. Idk raspy?? Like the way Elton sings it is very energetic or smth idk how to explain it while Taron's is more gentle and I just prefer that one, same goes for tiny dancer, but I like the original bitch is back a lot more idk why

18. Did you listen to the original songs before first watching the movie? Not specifically since we weren't sure what the soundtrack was gonna be until like 2 weeks before it was officially released, before we got the list of the 22 songs I listened to general Elton playlists, after that I listened to all 22 a few times and then we got the official soundtrack which I listened to like a madman,, I can tell you exactly how many times I listened to the entire soundtrack (it's 136.) and between the day it was released to the day the movie was finally released in my country, so may 24th-june 5th I listened to it 28 times

19. Is there any song on the soundtrack that has a special meaning to you because of something that happened in your life? If yes, which and why? Not really, I wasn't even sure who Elton was before I discovered the 2nd trailer when it dropped in February and decided to learn more about him sjdndjd the only connection I had with any of his songs is that I hated I'm still standing, not like actively but for some reason I considered it cringey because of some vague memory I can't recall??? Something about how they used it to end a movie or smtg but literally it's so vague I can't remember for SHIT but yeah I didn't really hate it so much as had some cringey memory tied to it but needless to say that's absolutely gone now lsmdksn
