currently reading: i just got done reading an abundance of katherines by john green and am working up the courage to start a new novel LOL. but i AM reading the tmnt idw comics if that counts !? and multiple ongoing mangas like jshk and bnha

🧫INTENTIONALLY!! in a lab by the utrom. or, by human workers in TCRI but TCRI is led by utrom they just dont know that. most of the mutants ive thought up so far are intentionally mutated w the exception of splinter

🦹imma be real this isnt fully fleshed out but the main idea is that the utrom are about to go to war and they know theyre gonna lose so they wanna bioengineer weapons since they know no one else has the balls and earth is the only accessible planet to them since its off limits, and no other aliens will search it. and thats where they conduct their (unethical) research lol. anyway so the brothers get caught up in it and stuffs. but they also have a bunch of smaller scale "villains"

OH and of course the foot clan.. poor karai....... splinter defeats the shredder wayy before the story even takes place but then karai takes his place and its quite sad

j:donnie and j:raph hate each other cuz they are the same. theyre both insecure with no other outlet. they think the other is amazing and they think so poorly of themselves. they dont realise theyre both thinking the same things. donnie cant look raph in the eye. raph calls him insults more often than his actual name. theyd both take a bullet for each other

kinda struggling w tmntjupiter rn cuz like. i feel like there isnt anything inherently unique about it !? I MEAN in terms of backstory and character design its definitely Different but what i mean is that it doenst have the One Thing that makes it stand out yk? the whole reason i made the au was just cuz i wanted scene april and punk casey LMFAO like it was never that deep but then i made a plotline just based off what i liked and while theres nothing wrong w that i guess its just not as interesting than if i had One Thing. if someone asked me to explain my iteration in one sentence i wish i could give something really easy but i jsut dont. 'tmnt but they were mutated before splinter found them' or 'cold war style conflict with utrom' Idk

coming up with the shredder vs splinter conflict is so HARD i feel like im doing it all wrong LMAO. my au doesnt focus on shredder at all tho like he literally gets killed by yoshi before yoshi makes it to america. hes only significant for backstory

j:donnie messes me up in the head cuz he needs to reason everything out to the point that its detrimential to his own well being. this kid will look at his brothers and wonder what it is that makes them love him because his brain cannot wrap itself around the concept of unconditional love. he feels inadequate cuz he can (and has) made full lists on why he cares so much about his brothers but he can't come up with any reasons on why those feelings might be reciprocated. he knows that art and music are useful because they provide comfort or escapism or catharsis but he boils it down to just brain chemicals and nothing else and its not until my au's version of a farmhouse arc that he realises just how little makes sense in life and just how much he needs to learn to let go in order to live it and he discovers that THROUGH ART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
