Korra’s shirt is definitely a bodysuit 🩱👀

So as I said on other posts, I’m writing a longfic and that’s why I’m making all this research paying attention to the minimum detail...

(➡️ That's the reason for all the posts I'm publishing these days.)

And when I started to think about Korra’s outfit (you must know in Mature Fanfics what we all writers do...), I noticed that Korra’s shirt isn’t precisely just a conventional shirt.

Maybe I didn’t discover anything new!! 🤣 Anyway, I wanted to leave this post for all of you here.

🔎 How do I know that it must be a bodysuit instead of a normal shirt? 👀

I have several reasons to think this:

When you see her from behind you can see her shoulder blades are very defined. Same happens with her collarbones. Also in very few scenes you can almost tell the fabric dips a little into her belly button:

All these details could tell us the shirt isn't just made of cotton. It has necessary to be composed as well with some elastic fabric. Plain cotton sometimes erases the lines of your body. This doesn't happen on Korra's shirt.

❓ BUT, now we should ask ourselves:

"How it is possible that she wears an elastic shirt that fits her so tight and NEVER rolls up to her navel??"

We have never seen the skin of her stomach when she's wearing this outfit. And, you know, Korra fights and moves like A LOT. So it is impossible that this shirt is never shown rolled up a single inch.

You can say: "Well maybe this shirt is so long she hides the end of the fabric inside her pants".

🤔 Really? I don't think she could have fought with Zaheer so agressively and the shirt stayed in its place just fine.

It stayed even when the rest of her outfit was a completely mess and she had her pants loosen. Look at these pictures:

And how it closes up? How stays put? It probably has one clasp like this (harder than her muscles...):

🆕 How about the new outfit?

It’s the same design. Even when you could tell she has lost body weight due to physical inactivity, the suit still fits her tight. It's just a darker blue version of the previous outfit.

By the way, in case you didn't know, the top half of the new outfit it's the same she used on Book 2:

It's funny. After analysing this topic it came to my mind the idea of a Korra needing so hard to pee and she and Asami were alone on the desert... or some place like this:

And I can imagine her asking Asami for help:

K: "Asami please cover me, I need to pee"

After a while covering her, Asami asked:

A: "Wtf is taking so long Korra?" K: "I need to open up this clasps but they are really hard. Can you help me?"

Hahaha and Asami already had a super crush on her. Imagine our poor Asami fighting so hard with her feelings.

Asami's bisexual disaster moment: "I didn't tell my best friend the little detail that I'm bisexual and I have a crush on her..."

Ps. Nah, at that moment she wasn't completely aware of her feelings towards Korra (I think).

As some of you may know (I'm super intense with this lol haha) I've been writting a fanfic for... 4 months now (I live for that creation wtf 😂).

I want to write here a compilation of facts that sums up everything I wanted to answer to this post by @lokgifsandmusings

This post also complements this one (Post by me. In that post I was talking about... more or less the same thing but at that moment I was teorizing about when they made love for the first time, and in this post I wanna talk about how do I know and most important: why the "gaycation" is the confirmation to it 😂. Just as @lokgifsandmusings was saying)

Why do I think is 100% accurate that Korra and Asami 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏽 got laid 👄👅💦 at least once before Varrick's Wedding? Why the "gaycation" to the Spirit World is the confirmation to it?

☑️ Fact #1:

We have to pay attention at their faces at Varrick's wedding:

I believe we all can agree that they have shared at least one kiss by the way they look at each other.

It is clear that those eyes are telling that they already know what both are feeling towards each other. For me, the confession happened several days before this moment. At least seven days ago. Because if the confession had happened just one or two days, or even three, they would behave more nervous (I think).

You could say this is the only reason why they are looking this way and they didn't had necessary to kiss. But... really? I mean could we really think it is a possibility? These two confessing their feelings and not kissing? Mmmm... nope. It's impossible.

But maybe if someone doubts this, keep reading the next facts:

☑️ Fact #2:

Korra is everything but shy. She's emotional, impulsive and hot headed. Look at the first kiss she ever gave (with Mako). This was her very first kiss for sure. Who else could she ever kissed before? A captain of the White Lotus? An old man? Haha nope. This was the first 100% accurate. And she didn't hesitate a single second:

Maybe she doesn't feel as sensual as Asami but she's confident about herself:

She knows she can attract people easily because she's pretty and sexy. I don't think a person who doesn't feel sexy wears a bodysuit skin tight like the one she's wearing (read more about her bodysuit here).

Now, coming back to the present, since she got back to the city she's been noticing the way Asami looks at her:

Maybe at first Korra didn't understand why she kept looking at her like this but after Asami confessed her feelings Korra understood everything. Asami could be amazing and overwhelmingly beauty but when Korra knows she's absolutely crazy for her, then she can balance the situation. Korra now feels in power, because she can seduce Asami too. This makes her feel even more confident with Asami.

☑️ Fact #3:

Asami is similar to Korra. She's intense, emotional, maybe not so impulsive and more meticulous instead, but she's also very determined. Whatever she wants, she takes it:

This screenshot is from that time when Korra went away from the city after breaking up with Mako. Yeah yeah, you can say this is ugly... Mako and Asami coming back to their relationship without having passed a single week since Korra left.

But I don't think is ugly. It's fun for me because I believe Mako and Asami never knew that the reason they two had a weak relationship was because both had a big crush on Korra since the beginning. (I'll made a post about this and I'll link it here.)

Anyway, the point is what we know about Asami is that when she met Mako on the street she invited him on a date without hesitation. A day after that, they were officially dating. She wanted the boy for her soooo bad...

Time after, Mako left her for Korra. Then Korra and Mako had their relationship and blablah... but then, we arrive to the moment Asami knew that Mako broke up with Korra.

She didn't wait a second to start thinking again in f*cking the boy........!! OMG Asami hahahaha look:

Conclusion: Asami is a h0rny girl hahahha. I love you my queen, Goddess of the Universe Asami Sato, forgive me, but this are facts!

☑️ Fact #4:

So... you have on one side the sexy, hot headed, naughty Avatar and on the other side the h0rny, strategist and unbeliavable sexy-beautiful Asami...

Korra is 21 now. She's the Avatar. Not the Avatar girl that arrived some day to Republic City. No. She's now a respected Avatar. She's grown up. Her parents never get angry with her and let her be free. Plus, they live super far away. They aren't aware of what she could be doing. If she's planning to give her p*ssy to Asami they can't do anything (if they wanted) to stop her. The one that has been a little repressive with her was Tenzin in the past but this has changed completely so... No one is going to say Korra "don't go to the city" or "come soon and sleep in your bed". If the girl wants to hangout till 4 am on the city, she can do it now. No one is gonna tell her a thing.

Plus, Korra is not a v*rgin. Her relationship with Mako lasted 7 months. Do you think a girl and a boy like them in their eighteen phase didn't have sex?? Impossible. Of course they had. At least when they've been in Republic City. Probably they didn't had more since the moment they traveled to the South.

Asami is 22. No parents who tell her what to do or not. She has her own mansion, big enough to slide a little naughty and h0rny morenita Korra inside and no one knowing a sh*t about it. (ok I got excited, sorry 😂).

She has her own car. She rules her calendar and her timmings..... we know Asami's past. She met Mako and she wanted to f*ck the boy in the wink of an eye hehe... 😏

Her relationship with Mako lasted like 2 months. But little time is no problem for Goddess Asami. If she wanted to f*ck the boy, who am I to stop her? 😏

I believe they've met Asami in fall (October, 170 A.G.) and all the Amon thing ended on December (170 A.G). That was the time when Korra started her relationship with Mako and lasted aproximately till June of the next year (171 A.G.) (the Winter Solstice in the South it starts on June the 21th, the day Unalaq asked Korra to open the South's portal).

Anyway, I'm sliding into another analysis LOL xd. The point is, with these two naughty girls... is too easy... too easy that these two wanted to find a moment to be together and let her feelings flow, so:

How can we think this two didn't kiss after they talk about their feelings? No. Of course we can't.

How was the first kiss? Ok, this one probably was 'cute' because they were feeling mostly happy and relieved over the h0rnyness 'cause they finally talked about what have been happening between them and confessed their feelings.

📝 My Headcanon:

- 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏽 The first kiss:

The confession happened just a few days after the portal was created. My bet is that Korra stayed with Asami after Hiroshi's "little and private funeral".

You think Asami didn't said goodbye to her dad? Of course she did. And Korra was by her side all the time. Asami didn't properly cried all the past days because she was trying to be strong. However, after the funeral she was broken.

She cried a lot on Korra's shoulder. They stayed a lot of time hugging till Asami was more calmed down.

After that, Asami kept starring at Korra who was in front of her face, wiping down her tears with the sleeve of her blue coat.

Asami couldn't hold it anymore and kissed Korra. Korra was surprised at first but it was just one second because she was also in love with Asami and she had been thinking about her from time to time. The only reason Korra was used to vanish all those thoughts is because she was convinced of two things:

Asami was hetero (she liked boys) and she was her best friend.

She was feeling needy and craving for love after all the experience she lived. She didn't want the way she needed love start a confussion about the way Asami saw her.

Anyway, this two facts were absolutely destroyed in Korra's mind after Asami kissed her. Korra accepted the kiss. When they finally swept apart they happily talked about their feelings and they ended knowing how silly they've been because both were afraid of losing her best friend.

- 👅 The second kiss.

They are now 21 (Korra) and 22 (Asami) years old. Going back to the facts 2 and 3, can we really think they would stay the next days just holding their hands and kissing like shy people?

Nope.

I think the day of the funeral they didn't talked about some 'important' details about themselves, like "Wtf Asami you didn't tell me you liked girls" and that stuff.

Asami invited Korra on an official date so they could talk more. Asami confessed to Korra she always had known that she liked both men and women. Also she asked Korra if she was bisexual too. Korra answered that she didn't know but maybe she's discovering at this time... thanks to her.

When dinner was over, they payed and left the restaurant. Korra and Asami wanted to kiss again so bad because they were avoiding to kiss in public and the last kiss they had was their first kiss the day before (too much time in lesbian time).

So, they found a safe place in the street and they finally kissed spreading all that contained passion. Imagine a kiss like this one.

Anyway, following the story, Korra and Asami were interrupted. Then tried to go to another place to kiss but again were interrupted. Korra was super frustrated, so Asami suggested her if she wanted to go to her house...... and Korra was like....... "Please, ASAP" hahahhaha

You thought Korra would doubt? No!

Now in Asami's place, it happened what everyone knows...

Probably the one that wanted to be soft and calm was Asami, not because she wasn't super h0rny. Of course she was, after kissing Korra on the street for almost an hour and hiding in dark places with her to slide her tongue in Korra's mouth. But she wanted to be soft and calm because Korra was too special for her. Asami's plans changed when Korra asked if three years weren't enough for her. Plus, Korra was rushed because she didn't want to let another Kuvira or Zaheer appear and ruin her life again. She wanted to live that experience with Asami and she wanted her now.

After that first time, they made normal things like every couple does, like brush teeth, pee, have a shower, etc. You probably would think I'm crazy talking about this and what has in common with the main idea.

Well, this is important because you don't suggest to go on a gaycation with your girlfriend and, even worse, to the Spirit world which is mostly a natural place with fields of flowers, herbs, trees and DEFINITELY NOT A BATHROOM... You don't go unless you had previously shared a bathroom with her. You had pee naked with your girlfriend watching and laughing at you 'cause she found your peeing face funny because your p*ssy was still super sensitive and your face is always super descriptive. (Yeah, that's things that happen to Korra 😂). After that you had a shower with her... 🚿

This is it! This is how they started to build a super strong relationship. Korrasami is not a ship, is a battleship. Such a power couple omg...

After that date, they spent the whole week previous to the wedding, finding excuses to kiss, hug, talk, laugh, dirtytalk and cuddlef*ck all the time. 😏

(I dare you to tell me that these are not cuddlef*cker faces hahaha 😂 Plus, don't forget on Ruins of the Empire they gave us this extra picture from that day):

Look at Korra's left hand... Look at Asami's right hand... wait, where is Asami left hand? Omg, maybe on Korra's lap??? She's kissing her or dirtytalking?? Probably both watching Korra's face....

Korra knew that even if they had Asami's massive room with private bathroom when they wanted to be in a private place, they wouldn't have whole days to spend together. She's the Avatar and Asami the Future Industries CEO.

Seemed like if they stayed in Republic City they'd had too little time for the amount of desire they had. That's why she came up with the gaycation together. Luckily, Asami was the one who talked first about needing a vacation... made it easier for Korra to suggest they had to go away together making Kya's gaydar finally detect and confirm a pair of girls having a lesbian relationship. For sure Kya was days before watching things lol hahaha 😂

S1:E04 “The Voice in the Night” and S1:E07 “The Aftermath”

After their very first interactions, Asami realized that Korra didn't like her at all.

Probably this was a new experience for her, since she was so used to be liked by everyone because of her beauty, money and influence. Being Hiroshi Sato's daughter is no mean feat after all.

However, Korra was zero impressed on a first sight.

Of course she was also jealous because Asami was dating Mako but, Asami didn't know the little detail that Korra liked Mako too. And that was another reason to dislike her when they first met.

There are some possibilities that prompted Asami to try to win Korra's respect:

She wanted to get Korra's acceptance because she was the Avatar.

She took that as a personal challege because it was inconceivable that someone disliked her.

She wanted to get Korra's acceptance because she was part of the Fire Ferrets team and Asami was dating Mako at that moment. Mako and Bolin were Korra's friends, so Asami didn't want to have one person causing a bad atmosphere with their glances.

Asami honestly liked Korra from the beginning, as a person, and not just for being the Avatar. So Asami wanted Korra to see she could like her back too. She did all that effort because she noticed that Korra was prejudging her.

Whatever it was, Asami hit the spot taking her to that car race and gained Korra's respect. Korra admitted she pegged her wrong and she was just prejudging her.

Probably we'll never know if Korra was so innocent that she didn't notice that all Asami wanted was to impress her.

Or maybe Korra really noticed it but regardless of that she let her show everything Asami could offer.

Fortunately, Korra started to see Asami through her prejudices cause at the end it was true that behind the mask of make up, wealthy and perfection there was a really good person that later became her best friend, her confident, her girlfriend (... and her wife 😜).

Additional notes: My personal opinion is that all the reasons were true. A mix of all that I said up there. Plus, Asami liked Korra as a woman since the beginning, because she's into women too. However, at that time she was dating Mako so she wasn't thinking in Korra as a love interest. Four years later Asami probably had to admit that all that efforts to impress Korra maybe were a little unconscious flirting.

You're right Korra is anything but shy. I hate when people draw or write Korra like she is one. It shows that they do not understand Korra as a character, her personality changed a bit in book 4 but she is Not a shy girl or a soft girl.

Exactly!! 😍😍 I could even imagine Korra having "shy moments" but in general she's not!

Starting from... 😂 Could a shy little girl do this?:

If some old men came to see me when I was 4 years old I would have anxiously cried. Instead of that here we have little Korra showing off!

Next: The shy 😂 Korra lifting Tenzin who was a person she barely knew.

(Edit: I believe it was Tenzin the one who knew Korra since she was a baby but Korra didn’t really interact with Tenzin till that time when she asked him to be her tutor...)

Next: The shy 😂 Korra just arriving to Republic City and giving a full speech in front of hundreds of people.

Next: The shy 😂 Korra kissing Mako who was a more or less famous guy because he played Probending. He's handsome, strong, ripped and tall. A guy who had a lot of crazy fangirls. And there you have Korra kissing him without hesitating a little. Her very first kiss!!!

Next: The shy 😂 Korra grabbing the police chief's chin and telling him he was the worst chief that ever existed.

Next: The shy 😂 Korra grabbing president Raiko's chin to give him a lecture in front of all the people.

There’s a funny part in the longfic I’m writing where Korra asks herself when did she started being so gay (she was talking with Asami).......

When did you started being so gay you ask? 🤭 Well dear... baby Korra, I have to tell you something (look at the pictures) 👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼

(Korra, Asami was just the spark that lit the fuse... hahahaha)

This was the conversation. Context:

Asami was driving to bring Korra back to the temple. This was the day after they first made it (you know what I mean...):

"What's the matter?" Asami asked uneasily. "You're very quiet."

"I just keep thinking how it took me so long to realize how much I liked you" Korra said clearly dismayed. "It's like I keep asking myself: since when am I so gay?"

"Hahahaha, do you think you're gay?" Asami asked laughing out loud because Korra's comment caught her off guard.

"I don't know Asami… You tell me…" Korra said looking at her sideways. "With everything we've done since yesterday it's enough to consider it… don't you think?"

"Well, it could be…" said the green-eyed girl still with a smile on her lips but, now calmly, as if downplaying the matter.

"What do you think Asami?" Do you think now you like girls more than boys?" The Avatar asked with a lot of curiosity in her tone of voice.

"I have no idea. But I don't mind asking myself about that because now I like you more than anyone else in the world." Asami answered feeling like she had her ideas very clear.

"Oh… I see…" Korra this time turned red as a tomato. "Maybe I was actually always gay and I didn't truly like boys. Maybe I still like them... Or maybe it's you... you're too much..."

Korra fell silent, thinking again.

"Too much what?" Asami asked wanting to hear how she finished the sentence.

"Too pretty, beautiful, sexy... I love your lips, I love your hair, I love the way you smell, I love your p-" Korra said stopping short again but this time she continued. "F-fuck, I might be very, very gay..."

➡️ My answer to question 1:

Absolutely yes 🙌🏼 I think Asami was the person that took that role practically from the beginning. Just a couple days after they came back to Republic City.

Looking at that picture, I thought it would be strange that Asami arrived that day just to do her hair right? So, for sure Asami was the person that helped Korra that day to take a bath and also to get dressed.

I think as well it would be strange that Asami did it just that day. For the confidence they showed us, that they had on each other, it was clear that Asami was taking care of her at least for a few days before.

Plus, I believe Asami came back to live in the temple to be by Korra's side.

➡️ My answer to question 2:

I’ve analyzed the behavior of Senna and Tonraq towards Korra. They love her so much that they always respect her decisions. I can imagine a super worried Tonraq, not sleeping very well because he personally took her daughter to her bed on the Temple. I also think that Senna travelled fast to be by her side to help her with everything she needed.

However, I think they didn’t stay for long in the city because Korra asked them to go. This is because they were behaving too intense and she started to need some space. They were worried at some unbearable level that Korra couldn't handle and recover at the same time.

Asami was around the Temple (she didn’t want to leave Korra’s side since they all arrived to the city). Then, when Korra asked her parents to leave her, in that precise moment, Asami was there to help Korra to convince her parents telling them that she personally would take care of Korra because she was her best friend. And she assured them that they didn’t had to worry about anything.

To reinforce this argument I have this proof:

When they finally took Korra back to the South, in the episode “Korra alone” we can see that Senna tells Korra: “Honey, your father and I have tried to give you as much space as you've needed but we're worried.” This reveals that in fact that they at some time became too much for her. Also Korra at first didn't know how much time she would be like this so she accepted Asami's help and didn't want her parents to be over her all the time.

➡️ My answer to question 3:

This answer is soooo long that I've been writing a whole post about this and it isn't finished yet because to arrive at that conclusion I've been working on a whole timeline of TLOK...

However, my current bet is that Asami took care of Korra for one month.

There are basically two proofs to reinforce this argument:

(1) At that time Jinora still hasn't grown any hair. And I don't think she would be the type of airbender that wanted to keep it shaved to justify that she would shave it again a few days after the ceremony.

(2) Kya was very hurt when they came back to the city. I don't think her recovery took just fifteen days, because, in fact, at Jinora's ceremony she still was using crutches. Nevertheless, she's a healer. She could accelerate her recovery and make herself be good in a month. That's why when we see Korra travelling with her parents and Kya, she's already fine.

Korra and Mako were watching over Aiwei’s room to see if the man moved to another place. Bolin and Asami were playing Pai Sho with a board Bolin found there.

Additional notes: When I watch this scene I can’t stop thinking that the smell inside the room must have been interesting... Four adult people in a room. Two men and two women. A polar bear dog and a fire ferret. Also they bought food because they were there for too long (like hours). Can you imagine that?? The smell of spicy noodles and all that people inside. Plus, I don’t think the room smelled fantastic when they first entered there hahahah OMG I’m dying. Maybe the last thing that smelled nice was Asami’s hair...
