Serial Cheater ~ Mako x Male Reader

This takes place somewhere along season 2 - Mako having just broken up with Korra and chatting to Asami again You are a core member of team Avatar! word count: 750 - Short fic! Sorry lol m!reader (no genitalia mentioned) / FDNI

Even though Mako is the kind of guy fan girls swoon over, most people would say that he's pretty down to earth

Your friends wouldn't describe Mako as flirty or as a serial romantic

But for the entire time you've known the muscular fire bender, some things have stuck out to you - most notably that he is, in fact, a flirt and a serial cheater (on accident)

Mako never actually means any harm to the girls he dates, but you have noticed a trend in his dating patterns of dating drop-dead gorgeous girls with a little overlap between them

It may just be the law of attraction - maybe Mako is just a magnet to romance and he can't help it

But it's most definitely a fact that if an opportunity is presented to the police officer, he takes it

And that is exactly what got the both of you into this situation

Mako and you were hanging out, Korra away somewhere on avatar business and everyone else at their respective jobs

The two of you were just chilling in Mako's apartment, having ordered take-out and drinking some new companies mass-produced rice-wine

As conversations drifted from one to the other, Mako started to vent about his highly active love-life

Being a good friend, you listened to the tall police officer - nodding along to assure him that you're listening to his ramble about his feelings for Korra and also for Asami

You of course throw in a joking comment or two at Mako's adulterous nature, but all in all you listen to his problems and offer your comfort

And your comforting and caring nature, mixed with the alcohol in Mako's system, was what resulted in your current situation

That being you on Mako's lap, making out with you handsome friend

Yes, you broke the kiss initially

Yes, you said you two shouldn't do this because of your close friendship with both of Mako's love interests

Yes, Mako begged for your warm, soft lips and for your comfort

And yes, you gave in...

Even though Mako was just yapping on about kissing Asami less than 24 hours ago, his chiseled face and warm brown eyes drew you in like an inescapable black hole

As the two of you made out, clothing started to make its way off of your body - the air in Mako's apartment becoming hotter and stuffier

You peaked out of the crack between the door frame and the door, watching as Asami and Mako kissed goodbye

As the front door shut, you open the bathroom door and lean on the frame

"Sooo... looks like you really just can't help yourself" you say with a smirk to Mako

The tall man chuckles as he walks over to you

"Heh... yeah, I guess so"

"I don't think you deny being a playboy much longer, haha..." you joke

Mako holds you head up with his soft hand to make you look him in the eye - Mako's height being emphasised

"Shut up... and what if I am?" Mako half-lids his eyes as he focuses on your features

And while you know that it's a dick move on your part, breaking Asami's and even Korra's trust, you couldn't help but push your lips against Mako's

Your hands rest on Mako's strong chest, his tongue slipping past your lips as his masculine hands slip onto your waist

"That's what I'd do if your were... Hmhm~" you laugh after breaking from Mako's warm lips

The two of you laugh as the strong man picks you up, your legs wrapping around his waist and your arms around his neck

As Mako makes his way to his bed, all thoughts of guilt float out and away from your brain

So now it really depends on how you meet.

If you meet her before becoming the great Uniter,she would be more carefree and open with you, but if you meet her after,now that's a different story. So let's roll with this one.

She would be pretty much against pda, but while alone,you get to cuddle with her and talk about your day.

You probably work for her,so seeing her isn't an issue. I mean yeah,you hate not being able to hold her hand,or kiss her while she's working, but it's one of her boundaries that you accept.

Talking about boundaries,she's very thorough with things that you are and are not okay with. She cares a lot about you and she wants you to know it.

Kuvira is a very calculated person,so once she had her eye on you she started picking up little things that you would do or say.

So she very much knows most of your habits.

Pet names like : Dear, love, sweetheart and angel are on a daily basis with you.

Hello!These are the rules i have for this account,and how to request.

Hands clasped behind their back, a smile wide on their face, Y/n walked through Air Temple Island. Waking up suddenly being able to airbend was well… Saying it was a shock would be an understatement. Hopefully they wouldn’t be faced with doubt at the announcement, then again it sounded like a pretty doubtful thing to happen. 

Their smile only widened at the sight of a familiar face. “Bo!”  Running over to Bolin, they tackled him in a hug and he was quick to return it, arms wrapping tightly around them.  “Hey!” He pressed a quick kiss to their cheek. “What are you doing here? I thought we were going to meet later today for lunch?”  Unraveling their arms from the male, Y/n clasped their hands together, bouncing slightly in place barely being able to hold in the excitement. “You’ll never guess what happened, Bo.”  “Hmm…” Bolin hummed in thought, bringing a hand up to his chin. “You… magically started airbending when you woke up!” He did a sort of jazz hands motion, with his guess.  Expression dropping into disbelief, their head tipped to the side. “How did you know?” 

“Wait? Really? Oh my god! Y/n!” He pulled them back into a hug, slightly picking them off the ground and spinning them in a small circle. “You’re an airbender now? That’s great!” His hands rested on their shoulders, after he sat them down.  Bolin knew how badly his partner craved to be a bender, they’d always been infatuated by it, so he knew how big this must be for them.  “I know, I know! It’s so cool!” Y/n gestured their hands about in excitement, accidentally sending a gust of wind right in their boyfriend’s face. Cringing, they clasped their hands back together once again. “Heh, sorry.”  Reaching his hands up, he fixed his hair, smiling wide. “No no! It’s okay. We should probably get you to Tenzin though.”

First things first, I’m gonna ask that you be patient with anything if you do request something. I’m a uni student and run an Etsy shop which takes up so much time and, along with all the mental health issues and chronic pain I suffer from that honestly makes it a trial just to get out of bed most days, I have pretty busy and tiring days so I rarely have time, motivation, or inspiration to write anything anymore.

I try to write requests in the order I get them wherever possible but if inspiration comes for a more recent request first then I'll write it first

Some notes on what I will and won’t write:

No underaged smut. Both of the characters must be of legal age if you request something. 

For reader insert fics or whatever you want to call them I will default to making the reader a female as it’s obviously easier for me seeing as I am one, I am however more than willing to make the reader character male or use gender neutral pronouns, just let me know if you’d prefer that. 

If you have a very specific idea of what you want please be specific in your request, my imagination sometimes gets very carried away and I end up taking things in completely different directions very easily and this will happen if you’re not specific. Of course, if you only have a vague idea and don’t mind how I interpret it then that’s great too!

Some things will make me uncomfortable to write about and if you request something which I’m not comfortable with I won’t write it, please don’t get mad at me if I do this
