I used get frustrated seeing people complain A LOT about "lack of communication" being what a romance plot hinges on in fics. It's so weird to me because communicating your true feelings, wants, desires is so difficult in real life! and it's ongoing!

But what I mean is, I think we did a very good job creating a situation in LIARB where the lack of communication made sense with the characters we built. I think we nailed the angst, tbh!!!!!

Ok the wedding had (originally) been between lolito and vegetta, the king and ofc the owner of the server. Rubius though however believes the wedding cant happen as he remebered that him and vegetta had been married in another world and nieves, his wife from that world (karmaland 4), confirmed that vegetta had been in love with rubius. Vegetta tells him that just because another him had maybe loved rubius doesn't change that he loves lolito in this world.

Rubius tries to get lolito to cancel the wedding by offering him items but it doesnt really work as lolito doesnt really want to break vegettas hesrt and get him to hate him. So rubius gets Sapo Peta to take photos of him and vegetta to accuse vegetta of cheating.

On the day of the wedding before it started , lolito went to rubius first to talk about hers and vegettas relationship. She tells him that she wants to talk to vegetta about how even she loves him and only him , she wants the freedom of sleeping around. Rubius tells her how that might not work as vegetta believes in more "traditional" relationships.

During the wedding , they exchange vows as vegetta talks about loving her and whatnot while lolito talks about how he was one of the only ones who accepted her (as he is known as the "crazy" of the town as she has killed and done other shit) rubius then objects using the photos as proof that vegetta doesnt deserve her. Vegetta of course tries to stop him and says that the photos are taken out of context. Lolito doesnt really believe him but takes it as a sign that he would allow her to have an open relationship.

Sapo Peta tries to help vegetta but ends up making the situation worse. During the mess though the others started making jokes about situation (smeone yelled "the tip DOES count") Rubius then proposed to her offering her everything including the open relationship (as he himself also likes "whoring" around) . Lolito then tries telling vegetta that she only loves him romantically but sexually she needs more than one person and used jars to explain it. Vegetta doesnt understand what shes trying to explain and ended up leaving (both the wedding and the server.) Lolito is upset by this as she loves him but after some thought she ends up agreeing to rubius's proposal ( she says she doesnt really like him that much but she likes how hes also a whore)

They got married as wife and wife and celebrated in vegettas bedroom with all of the guests. Rubius tried to get Sapo Peta to take photos of them all to get vegetta upset but they thought that was too far. Lolito is still convinced thst she is queen even if their wedding failed.

Lolito doesnt log in til the last day, the day where the world ended, where he does try to get vegetta to forgive him but it was too late and willy had confessed to vegetta.

and the way you’re talking to jace (while cregans doing the hand neck tjin), and jace is just maintaining such heavy eye contact with you. but instead of axtually listening to you he’s focusing all his energy on not getting hard & not completely leaning into cregan in the middle of a room full of people. you ask him something and his lashes just flutter as he tries to manage a response

and unfortunately for him, as u realize, you just tilt your head and oh so innocently ask him “alright, handsome?”
