Its funny because I am the nr 1 defender of soft, kind hearted, pacifist women in media… until they are dead mothers
#if my fuyumi profile picture and love for orihiem wasn’t telling#*orihime#I am too lazy to rewrite that sentence#it’s a writer problem entirely#but I just can’t take them seriously at that point#like please#let them be human beings#let them have flaws and be something other than someone elses ideal#unless their children over idealizing them is intentional and part of the plot#that drama is great#tiu did a lot of that tho less with moms#I like evi#but she’s on thin ice#and only gets a pass because there is enough flashback to get some ammount of personality for her#like she is more than that but only just barely#just like she is only barely not fridged
