okayyyy val’s big weekend summary under the cut 🥰

okay the tdh concert on Friday night SLAPPED as always, they’re SO fucking good live it’s unfair to everyone else. ridiculous. and the house of blues is such a cool venue!! the only thing that sucked was the drive to the venue from my hotel—a 35 min drive with no traffic; a 1hr drive that maps quoted me before I left; with the final drive being 2 1/2 hours, bumper to bumper most of the way. chicago why.

then the next morning I had lunch with a very cool mutual (who I’m not sure wants me to doxx them/the city they live in so I’ll abstain from naming them here but trust they are very cool) which was SUPER fun I love meeting mutuals so much. my fav people. if you’re reading this, hi :3

spent saturday afternoon & evening driving down to st louis, after which my right leg started to cramp up :( but with a knee-high compression sock and a hot water soak + massage I managed to get it under control, thank god. I kept having this mental image of getting a leg cramp mid-mng
