(2019 UPDATED) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In this video, you are going to learn how to compress and optmize videos for uploading to YouTube!

This tutorial has been highly requested, so I did an updated video to the previous tutorial! This tutorial will definitely help you upload to YouTube faster, and definitely optmize your videos for uploading to YouTube!

For context, a 10 minute gameplay video of a game called Ravenfield is extremely big, at 2.34GB, and will take me almost 3 hours to upload to YouTube. That is a long time to upload to YouTube! With this tutorial, you go from 3 hours to upload to YouTube, all the way down to 30 through 40 minutes! That might sound like a long time to upload to YouTube, but keep in mind, it is coming down from 3, even 4 hours of upload time!

The quality will always have a little loss, however, with the tips I am going to show you today, there will be minimal to no quality loss! Keep watching the video in other to find out!

First, I introduce my video file, and how long it takes to upload to YouTube. It was not fast.

Then, I showed you how to download VidCoder, a program used to re-encode the video to a smaller file size.

After that, I showed you how to use the program to its advantage and make your uploads way faster!

Finally, I showed you the difference between the two videos, how there is barely any quality loss, and how many gigabytes we reduced, as well as how much lesser time it takes to upload a video to YouTube! Hint: Uploading to YouTube was faster! By almost 2.5X! That is crazy!
