A little while ago a nice chap asked me to make a single earring featuring my vintage watch parts for a piercing in the helix part of their earlobe. And for it to be tiny so as not to look like a satellite dish (the imaginary image of which made me laugh). The smallest I was able to work with was about 4 mm across which has barely any space in the bezel but I donned my thickest reading glasses, sharpest tweezers and managed to squeeze in 3 or 4 wee cogs. I made a spare pair as well, just because... and here they are - the tiniest sterling silver watch part studs on Earth? (see photo with 1 penny coin for scale).
