Note: A lot of designs are inspired off of tinyangrynerd's designs, I can't help that they're so scrunkly, they make SO much sense, and scratch my brain just right /pos

But I didn't create Wambus and Filbo's design, I just redrew their designs :p

So, I heard you like Bugsnax and Balan Wonderworld, well, I just had a brain fart...Hear me out; Bugsnax x Balan Wonderworld, where like the inhabitants are grumpuses or the grumpuses are inhabitants.

Balanwonderworld AU

Obviously Balan and Lance will still have their original names but will now have surnames to boot. Both Leo and Emma will take the role of the journalist. Balan and Lance are both technically Snak Queens/Kings in this AU but with different power dynamics, Nega bosses are Snakmonsters similar vein to @tinyangrynerd 's Au.

A (Song)Writer’s Feud

Neither Wiggle nor Brandy are known for holding grudges, but since arriving at Snaktooth the two have openly made an exception to one another. (More details under the cut!)

Prior to Snaktooth Island Brandy never really acknowledged Wiggle, often favoring more indie music creators or video game soundtracks. The best he could really say about her was that he thought her music was okay. Wiggle was the same way, as Brandy never put himself out there writing-wise so there was nothing for her to go off of.

All that changed one day when Wiggle finally met Brandy and realized that he was a writer.

In her constant quest for inspiration, she made it a point to formally introduce herself to the Grumpus and (after initial shock from realizing he didn’t know her already) tried to get a peek at some of his drafts. Normally Brandy is a bit protective of his works, but after lots of coaxing he eventually gave in and let her read some of his work. She was impressed, and for a moment Brandy was excited to have someone to share his work with.

About a week later, Brandy found Wiggle showing off a new song she was in the process of making to Gramble and friends. A song with lyrics that Brandy was already far, far too familiar with.

Any initial excitement he had about having someone to share his work with was replaced with rage, openly admonishing her for stealing his work and calling It her own, right in front of her audience. The argument quickly escalated, both of them tearing into each other verbally on the verge of screaming--Brandy calling out her (seemingly apparent) lack of talent and respect for the craft, while Wiggle pointed out the author’s disrespect and cowardice for keeping all of his work to himself, refusing to put himself out there despite his talent.

Brandy was dangerously close to turning the argument physical before some of the audience intervened. 

From then on, both Grumpuses have made it a point to voice their disdain for one another. Brandy was soured from the blatant plagiarism and does his best to protect his drafts from the artist’s frequent attempts to spy. Wiggle was offended at Brandy’s crass nature and his spitting on her name, but still continues her quest for inspiration regardless.

A few other Snaktooth residents (who may or may not be named Filbo) noted out just how upsetting the feud is, saying that if they actually tried working together they could create something truly beautiful. But until one of them buckles down and apologizes, these two likely won’t be changing their relationship anytime soon.

Bugsnax Doodles With Louella (WIP Preview)

BUGSNAX DOODLES IN THE MAKING!! Just wanted to show you all a lil’ snippet of what I came up with, inspired by @tinyangrynerd’s epic Monster AU! 030 Here we have a comparison of Louella’s normal form and if she had her own monster form, combined with all four types of Sweetieflies and a Charmallow!  A big thanks to @jammyjamboree​ for the suggestion of what Bugsnax to use :3 I had real fun sketching out Lou’s monster form! <3 There’ll be more WIP previews coming soon as possible, so stay tuned! ;D

I had a dream last night that the guys who made Bugsnax announced they were making a sequel.

Bugsnax 2 was more of an AU of the original game than a sequel story-wise. In this version, the character you play as doesn’t end up on the bugsnax island until a bit later and by the time they’ve arrived, all the characters from the original game have mutated into these freaky snax-hybrid monster thingies (kinda like @tinyangrynerd ‘s snack monster au but different) but are still somewhat lucid. The main goal of this game would be to help the mutated characters return to thier normal selves via a series of quests and stuff similar to the first game. I think there was also this side area similar to the chao garden from Sonic Adventure 2 where you could grow/raise your own bugsnax that would assist you on some of your quests in-game.

Also the player would be guided by the mutant version of Snorpy, who was basically a slice of pineapple pizza with his eyes and glasses that you carried around in a little pizza box, which was kinda funny tbh.

Finished in time for Halloween! Turns out if you stare at something long enough you can (sometimes) figure out how to make it. In all seriousness I've been wanting to do @tinyangrynerd 's Monster Triffany since I saw her back when made Monster Floofty, but wasn't sure how to go about making them. It was mostly the ribs that I wasn't sure about. Luckily they all fit together even after being stuffed. I'm so happy with how she turned out!

Looks like nobody's found my tumblr yet...good, because I'm gonna post this monstrosity.

This is Kelse Baboth, my grumpsona and my Journalist for Bugsnax.

She's the chill type of person and is really friendly

People mistake her for a emo because of her long hair which covers her eyes sometimes...and she sometimes goes with it because it's hilarious

She sees Chandlo and Snorpy as brothers [I do not have any lore behind that yet but I'll figure that in due time]

She's got a lil' crush on Beffica [Either lebsian or bisexual, have not decided on her sexuality yet]

She takes the liberty of talking to Cromdo so he doesn't annoy anybody with his scams n' stuff, but she slowly started to see Cromdo as a friend and talks to him more often.

Since the jorunalist is a good artist, I hc that Kelse loves to draw art and wishes to be able to sell her artwork, and she mainly draws her friends as monterous creatures from eating Bugsnax [Idea came from @tinyangrynerd 's art, their art is amazing, and if they see this, hi I'm too nervous to tell you your art is amazing]

She does have a brother which I'll post some other time, but for now have this monstrosity.
