Bioshock 1&2

I love the both of these games, they both hold a special place in my heart because I played them pretty young, I remember playing the first game and being absolutely terrified to leave the bathmosphere then even more terrified to even turn the corner. I really thought spider splicers were gonna get me lmao.

They are just so good imo and it seems like alot of love went into these games, I'd need to check but I'm pretty sure the animators referenced how his daughter would play around the office for the little sisters.

I really love the themes and how it plays into the downfall of the city, how you explore it and peice together story through different audio logs, the twists in each game are good too, I won't spoil.

It's so claustrophobic with the water leaking into the city it really makes you feel trapped. Personally fort frolic is my favourite area.

The gameplay feels very good aswell, in the first game you definetly feel like a person, you're more fast faced shooting splicers as they rush you or ambush you most of the time, imo ot does make you feel like someone jogging around the city. The second game the combat is more slow but not in a bad way, I'd say you are given bigger more powerful weapon but don't do as much damage with all your weapons in the first game,I feel in 2 you Don't take much damage as you would in 1 so you can really lumber around in that tindaddy suit, while being swarmed you take each energy out one by one. It really makes you feel how it looked it when the big daddies in the first game would stand there killing splicers attacking them and just walk away fine.

10/10 on both games, should definetly play if you haven't.
