Timothy Treadwell did not give a single fuck about those bears. He cared about himself. And he cared that they made him seem special. He was inherently selfish and ignored major issues that he was ACTIVELY bringing TO the bears. They became too used to human contact and are more dangerous as a result (both to themselves and others). The divide between the wild and humans exists for a reason to keep both party’s safe.
