You’re in onederland!
I am! Or was. We'll see if I still am when I do my weekly weigh in tomorrow. I suspect not, which was why I wanted to document the moment where I was. :D

timberonthemount reblogged your photo:pamthefathelete: That’s 100% where I am! I tried...
Me too! I got to week 4 of C25k and my ankles started to hurt like hell. I’m taking a break from running and will only trail run going forward. The impact is much more gentle, and I have nice groomed trails to run so I don’t trip :)
It's super-important that we don't do damage to our wonderful bodies in an over-zealous effort to lose weight. The goal is to GET FIT, GET HEALTHY. That doesn't mean go out and do things that will damage you! So, yeah, we all need to find our level, find what works for us, that takes us to HEALTHY, not just a lower number on the scale.
Sounds like a perfect plan ... keep experimenting until you find the activity and the level that works for you. Every BODY is different and can change over time, so constant tweaking seems like a great approach.
I think trail runs sound awesome. Lower impact AND a great way to get outside too. And, of course, never be afraid to stop, walk, stretch ... what ever you need to do. Don't run in pain. Pushing yourself through discomfort is one thing, but not through actual pain.
