it's funny to me that whenever foreign people visit canada everybody is like "omg you have to try tim hortons!!!!" because it's the closest thing we have to an actual culture. but it's literally just like Food and coffee that ppl r gonna have anyway. it's like if whenever you went to america they were all like omg you HAVE to try a mcdonalds hamburger it's a cultural staple. like Yeah I guess but is that something to be proud of?? there are other things. we have forests etc

#tim hortons is a cultural stable nobody is arguing that it's just funny bcuz its literally like. a random ass fast food place #ppl go there for business meetings and to get their morning coffee. why is that Culturally Significant #however if you ever visit canada you do have to try tim hortons :/ those r the rules #not just the coffee you have to get one food item too. and not a doughnut or timbit #you have to have the cultural experience of a Timmy's Breakfast #txt
