alright, well; many people reblog my blaseball fanart and fics to this day, so i might as well link this here -- i composed a blogpost about the end of blaseball and i.

i owe blaseball a lot for my artistic pursuits. it's been an honor to participate in the cultural event of blaseball with you all, and i'm sure i'll keep making tillsend content, parker content, as well as original content for my blaseball ocs.

Hi! I’m Eli! I’m a hobby artist! For the last few years I have been drawing a lot of Blaseball fanart and that’s primarily what you’ll find on this blog. Currently I am in love with the game Great God Grove and the character of Capochin so there’s lots of him here now. Please block #great god grove spoilers because this is NAWT a spoiler free zone.

This is the best place to find my art since tumblr has an actual archive system and also because I will sometimes update old art with small fixes on here. I also occasionally go back through my blog and delete old text posts so that it's easier to scroll through this blog and just see my art.

I also occasionally open commissions as I am disabled and currently unable to work a regular job. Commissions are currently open! If you like my work and want to help me pay bills you can donate to me on kofi.

1) Please don’t DM me if we aren’t already close! However feel free to send me asks if you wanna ask me about my art or related headcannons.

2) Please remember that I am like, an actual human who draws for fun, and not a content machine. Sometimes I might not post for a bit if I’m not in the mood to draw or am creatively blocked! 

If you have characters you’d like to see in my style feel free to send an ask requesting them- just don’t demand that I draw them and remember that I don’t always fulfil requests for a variety of reasons. If you want art from me your best bet is to ask about commissions (currently open!).

I try to properly tag for CW’s and add image IDs but I have an awful memory and limited spoons so I may not always get things posted correctly! Feel free to let me know if something needs an extra cw or I missed something. I also always do my best to do my research and be respectful of others in my art but if I mess up please let me know! I am constantly learning and want to do my best to make sure this is a space where marginalized people feel comfortable.

3) You can easily block all my Blaseball shipping by blocking the terms “tillsend”, “tilljay”, “jaysend” and “tillmikejay” if you find it annoying or cringe. For GGG please block "inspekchin" if you don't want to see art or discussions of them.

Mike finally gains the love and respect of his team only to lose it all again bc he starts dating Tillman

they write a new version of “Mike Townsend (Is a Disappointment)” but instead of being about his pitching it’s about his taste in men

DVD commentary time: "Mike never knows what state he’s going to find Tillman in when he goes to the Vault. He’s not sure which is worse: when he’s completely still, a glittering statue, unresponsive to Mike’s touch and words, or when he’s completely shiny and bright, his head empty and so filled with the Vault’s programming that he can’t even recognize him. Sometimes he’s almost there, fading in and out, his movements heavy as he clings to Mike in desperation, as he begs him to stay, his words coming out slow and sticky like honey. Rarely, he’s his, the way he was before." Tell me.

Sad, I am so sad about Tillman’s vaulting constantly I want him out of there so so bad. Anyway I have a lot of different vault interps but this fic combines a few of the what being vaulted is like ones. This section is a little about how all of the possibilities are awful, you’re either a literal funko pop or happy but erased of everything that is you or aware of whats going on but too brainfogged up to do anything about it. Like when you’re trying to run in a nightmare but your legs won’t work. And of course its also awful to see someone you love like this.

The “he’s his” line is a deliberate choice. At this point everything is so fucked in the outside world that Mike and Tillman have fully warped around from co-dependency to healthier devotion to back to more of that co-dependency where they view each other as part of a unit and don’t care about much else. Mike’s not trying to make heroic sacrifices to free anyone else in the vault, he’s gotten more selfish. And Tillman has picked up some of Mike’s guilt complex. It’s a “fun” reversal of where they started from.
