The Christmas Comeback Crisis

Hello, anime fans. I am Gabriel Ramos, DJ and broadcaster of Toon Time Theater. I am here to inform you of the lineup updates for T3 Express and the Saturday Morning Animation Cram Session.

Planning T3 Express for the rest of the year was a pain in the neck. I struggled to find good programs to fit T3 Express' E/I hour now that SAILOR MOON Season 1 is finished. As a result, I have thrown in both of the HAIKYU!! OVAs from Season 1, which I was unable to live-stream before live-streaming Season 2. They will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles since no OVAs were dubbed but for the two-parter "Land vs. Air", which I will show way later in time if I do complete live-streaming Season 3 of HAIKYU!!. Not to mention all of December will be free of SAILOR MOON, GHOST STORIES, and NARUTO broadcasts, since I wanted to take a break from most of these programs. Taking their places is a series of Brawl-a-thons for DRAGON BALL Z KAI, now in 2nd Overtime. I have made it so GHOST STORIES and DRAGON BALL Z KAI trade places for the time being, and future DRAGON BALL Z KAI broadcasts will happen on T3 Express Friday afternoons moving forward. As you can see, STREET FIGHTER joins the T3 Express lineup starting on December 6, replacing Nurse Witch Komugi-chan Magikarte. I had to do this to have both X-MEN and STREET FIGHTER on the same schedule to appeal to both comic book and fighting game fans.

As for the Saturday Morning Animation Cram Session I have some good news to inform you all. SWORD ART ONLINE reruns replace HAIKYU!!, but only for around 14 weeks since I will only live-stream the Aincrad arc as usual. I have planned three late-night marathons for December: MASHLE on the 21st, INVINCIBLE FIGHT GIRL on the 26th, and Rent-A-Girlfriend on the 28th. Here's the twist: INVINCIBLE FIGHT GIRL will be the Spanish dub with English subtitles. This will be done to give the series a Lucha Libre motif in some way. Lastly, this holiday season marks the first time Rent-A-Girlfriend gets a marathon on Toon Time Theater. The lineups are as follows:

Take that, Toonami. You can't beat my Christmas lineups for this year.

Anyways, the Rent-A-Girlfriend marathon will mark the final appearance of the U-PICK arc's bumper packaging, as it will be the final broadcast of the U-PICK arc. On January 2025, the Separate Ways arc of Toon Time Theater will commence, complete with animated "Now & Then" menu bumpers, and some animated sidebars if you viewers don't mind. Also, the break music will be changed to reflect this new arc.

During Toon Time Theater's Separate Ways arc, I will deviate away from Toonami's lineups and go my own path of assembling the schedules. I lost cable TV, therefore, unable to watch Cartoon Network, the network that has adult swim and Toonami. Without Toonami, I must use my creative freedom throughout the year of 2025 to deliver the audience an authentic viewing experience that Toonami wouldn't give us in the modern era. Not only that, I will focus on already-established programming to get through the year, allowing for less schedule changes than in the previous years. Laid-Back Camp, a cartoon based on Sega's 3D fighting game series, Pokémon, BLUE EXORCIST, SONIC X, MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES, ONE PIECE (Wano Country arc), and BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS will be some of the highlights for the Separate Ways arc. Expect to see more KQED Plus science fiction anime along the way, as there will be a chance Sakura Wars: The Animated Series, TENCHI UNIVERSE, and Neon Genesis EVANGELION will be added to this new arc's lineup.

Will.of.Oz (Unexpected Musical) — PattyCake Productions music video

For the third offering in their Unexpected Musicals series, the PattyCake guys got even more ambitious. Combining the club jams of the Black Eyed Peas with the spectacle of The Wizard of Oz required a bigger cast and more locations than their first two videos. According to PattyCake's Instagram teasers, it took 68 yards of fabric to make Glinda's voluminous gown, 2500 hand-stiched sequins to cover each pair of ruby slippers, and 57 pounds of actual tin to make the Tin Man's armor.

The Lullabye League is portrayed by Layne's step-daughters.

Jonathan Shane Ferrell isn't just one of the munchins. He's also one of the artists from Makeup & Creative Arts who provided the incredible character prosthetics.

PattyCake released their first public blooper reel for this project, and it is very fun.

The team at Makeup & Creative Arts released a time lapse prosthetics demo video for their Oz collection a couple years later with Dan Varnum donning the Lion's mane, Kathy Castellucci reprising her Wicked Witch role, Geoff Castellucci going gray silver as the Tin Man, & Paul Kaleka getting stuffed into the Scarecrow's burlap.

Rachel slipped back into Dorothy's gingham dress the following year to play Judy Garland in PattyCake's "La La Land" video.

Tony had performed "Let's Get It Started" many, many times during his decade as Dracula in the "Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue" at Universal Studios.

"Let's Get It Started" was also part of the opening medley for VoicePlay's second episode of The Sing-Off, though not the section the guys were featured in.

Em 1991, diversos empregados da Konami, liderados por Masato Maegawa, começavam planos de desenvolvimento em reuinios em uma cafeteria. Eles estavam estabelecendo planos para um game de run 'n gun, e até mesmo apresentaram a ideia deles para a Konami, no entanto, eles foram ditos que o game não iria vender bem e a ideia deles foi rejeitada. Pegando inspiração em Gunstar Heroes, a Media.Vision levou para o PlayStation, Gunners Heaven, que no ocidente, ficou conhecido como Rapid Reload. Jogadores podem escolher entre dois personagens, Axel, um garoto de cabelo azul, e Ruka, uma garota loira. Tirando as diferenças entre Gunstar Heroes e Gunners Heaven, os dois games do estilo run 'n gun eram praticamente similares.

Just a lot of heavier core music in general. I used to listen to it a lot in high school, but recently shifted over to more progressive bands while in college. I still love me some Lorna Shore, Within the Ruins, Born of Osiris, Emmure, Chelsea Grin, Like Moths to Flames, After the Burial, and We Came as Romans. But the modern me will usually go for the sad, melancholic, melodic bands and artists first (my favs being Casey, Salvia Palth, La Dispute, Banks Arcade, Thursday, Tigers Jaw, Currents, Spiritbox, and Invent Animate)

Fun fact: Tom Barber, who is in DARKO US and Chelsea Grin now, used to be in Lorna Shore, as depicted in this song here. I had this song on repeat back in the 9th and 10th grade-- but I still love To The Hellfire and Will Ramos.

The ETBU Women’s Soccer team departed Texas for New Zealand earlier this week as a part of ETBU’s Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME). This is the 16th trip as a part of the ETBU Athletic Department TAME initiative and second for Tiger Women’s Soccer, after the Tigers traveled to Costa Rica in 2019. ETBU is partnering with International Sports Federation (ISF), as they will conduct soccer clinics and other ministry activities alongside the 2023 Women’s World Cup, which is being held in New Zealand.

Cheyenne Vick, a freshman Christian ministry major, shared the following regarding their first day in New Zealand. “Our arrival in New Zealand came after a 14 hour flight from Houston to Auckland with an early landing at 5:30 AM. Though the purpose of the first day was to get settled into camp, we were able to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit the moment we stepped foot into camp. We were greeted with a traditional welcome and haka performance and spent the majority of the day learning about New Zealand traditions. After lunch we had our first devotional led by an ISF director, Brett, and ice breaker games to get to know each other, while walking the beach. We split up into small groups and shared our excitement, as well as our anxieties, and prayed over each other. Later, the team took a stroll on the beach and each player took the opportunity to open up about their faith and how they expect God to move in them and other people the next two weeks. We are all excited to share the good news of our savior Jesus and we are expecting Him to keep opening hearts and changing lives through the upcoming days.”

The camp has plenty of fun activities like a gym, tennis courts, miniature golf course, and volleyball courts. The beds are bunk beds and everyone shares the restrooms that have private showers within. The food has been great so far, and there is always a supply of hot chocolate to keep us warm in this cold weather.”

“The team had the opportunity to meet two boys and their mom on the beach and they asked for our autographs on a soccer ball and for a picture with the team! We invited them back to our clinic on the weekend and they said they will come and bring their friends! It’s funny how many people have asked us if we are on the USA National Team, but also awesome how God has used that to open up the door for others to talk with us and ask us questions. God calls us to be obedient and to be comfortable with the uncomfortable, that’s my goal for this trip.”
