I can do both! I’ll start w Tifa tho since I realized when writing, that this post got really long lmao

also it’s been like forever since I’ve talked about Tifa and her dads so I’m not sure if I’ll be accurate/consistent but I will try my best

Cilan and..... Clemont..? Yes, Clemont (see, already off to a bad start lmao) each teaches Tifa their like, specialties? Like, Cilan w cooking, Clemont w inventing stuff (which is what like got her into inventing more than cooking cuz she loves creating things that she came up)

OH ALSO OK I DEFS REMEMBERED THIS ONE but y’all remember how Tifa would be so hyperfocused on her work that she’d often accidentally grab a can of oil she mistakenly thought was her juice/drink (she never ended up drinking oil so don’t worry), well, ONE time when she and Clemont were working on a big project, Tifa was hella hyperfocused and just immersed. Cilan brought both of them some snacks and drinks. Clemont was taking a snack break but Tifa was still working and he’s just proud that his daughter’s following in his footsteps and all and suddENLY SHE REACHES FOR HER OIL CAN THINKING IT WAS HER DRINK (her drink was next to her oil can too so like... can’t really blame her) AND CLEMONT JUST ABOUT FREAKS OUT WHEN HE SEES HER BRING THE OIL CAN TO HER LIPS “TIFA STOP!11!11!!1!1! THAT’S AN OIL CAN” and Tifa’s like “oh whoops lmao” and puts it down and gets her ACTUAL drink this time. Cilan heard this whole thing and rushed in and Clemont tells him what happened and since then they had to keep an eye out on Tifa when she works.

One time Cilan taught Tifa how to make lemon meringue pie (hint hint nudge nudge name of ship Tifa is created from teehee) and whooo man it was a disaster. Cooking or well baking really, was just not her thing at all. But that’s okay, like she can do the basics? like banana muffins? no problem. Chocolate chip cookies that you buy from the super store and all you have to do is cut the tube and put that baby in the oven? Easy peasy lemon squeezy. But more complicated stuff? nah, she cannot do them.

When Tifa was super little like toddler little, Cilan and Clemont would take turns having to read her stories and tuck her in because Tifa REFUSES to sleep without being told a story. But not any story, a made up story. She loved listening to her dads make up stories to tell her every night. It really challenged their imagination and creativity since they had to switch it up a lot every night, but they managed to make her smile and happy and also sleep, so that’s important

Cilan and Clemont took the kids (the two kids of Cilan’s from previous marriage I DO not remember which two oh my gosh) to the outskirts of [location of where i decided they lived--i do not remember if I said they live in Kalos or Unova oh my god] to watch the meteor showers. Tifa was also pretty young still at this point, like maybe 10-11yrs old? LIke, not SUPER young, but she’s a kid. She has curfew lmao anyways, so they pitched up a tent cuz they were camping out as well and the three kids were just lying down and waiting to see the meteors. Tifa was counting every single star she saw up in the big night sky but kept losing count after 58 so she has to recount them all when they finally saw the meteor shower, Tifa was super groggy and sleepy (it’s past her bedtime!!!!!) but she jumped up and down and screamed w excitement bc WOW look at those pretty things in the sky!!!!! Clemont and Cilan were very grateful they chose to take the kids out that night.

Clemont tried to teach Tifa how to ride a bike but like... Clemont doesn’t know how to ride a bike... And Cilan doesn’t know how to ride a bike either.... So it was kind of a....... Mixed review lmao. Thankfully one of Cilan’s kids from prev marriage that stayed w him taught Tifa how to ride a bike. Cilan was kinda shook but the kid (I’m so sorry I do not remember I probably could look it up but it’s already too late i’m this late in the game) was like “lmao dad taught us all before” (Trip. Trip is the other dad)

Even tho cooking or baking is not Tifa’s specialties, she once tried to make her dads breakfast and uhm. It uh... Nope. Let’s just leave it there.

Tifa went to a French immersion school so she knows how to speak fluent French (or I guess technically it’d be Kalosian???) and would have conversations w Clemont in only French. It trips Cilan up so much bc he’s still learning French, but like he’s not a beginner beginner? Like just a level above beginner and below intermediate if that makes any sense at all.

Hugging headcanon

Tifa is a hugger for sure! She loves the comforts of being wrapped around someone’s arms, or wrapping her own arms around someone! Hugs are, to her, what brings a smile to people’s faces! And they’re used to console people who are down. Hugs are pretty versatile in her books!

Kissing headcanon

She’s very affectionate and will show it to those she cares for! She likes to smooch ppl on the cheeks, nose, ears, what have you! But she’s pretty shy if she has to kiss her s/o on the lips ha ha. It takes her a while to pluck up the courage but when she does, it’s very gentle and full of love. But don’t expect her to initiate the kisses all the time! It’s very rare for her to initiate the kissing on the lips!

Wardrobe headcanon

Her wardrobe basically consists of old/plain t-shirts, overalls, and jumpers. All of which are stained with oil splotches since she does a lot of tinkering in them. She does have nice fancy clothes, but she rarely wears them. She also has work out clothes for when she goes to the gym and practice MMA stuff!

Jewelry headcanon

Tifa has triple lobe piercings on her right ear, double lobe piercings on her left, two helix piercings on both ears, and a forward helix piercing on her left ear!

She also wears two black wristlets with metal studs on them, and a small yellow oval pendant necklace!

I don’t know if this counts as an accessory, but she also wears a pink ribbon in her hair!

Nickname headcanon

She doesn’t really have a lot of nicknames people call her, unless you count her middle name as one? Like, her full name is Bailey Tifa, but she’s usually just called Tifa. However, there was a moment where she tried to get people to call her “Bayleaf” but it never worked lol.

Tifa doesn’t really give people nicknames though, she just never saw the need to do so. She doesn’t mind when people give her nicknames though, but it’s very rare.

Dancing headcanon

She doesn’t like dancing. She’s not a dancer. She prefers to just sit or stay near a wall and watch people dance.

Singing headcanon

She’s alright with singing. Same with the dance headcanon above tho, she prefers to just listen to others singing.

The Excessively Detailed Headcanon Meme

What does their bedroom look like?

Tifa’s bedroom is semi-messy with lots of hardware tools patterning on the walls, a hammer bed lamp, grey and white bedsheets with yellow lightning bolts on them. There’s a small little shelf with all her little PokeDolls lined up perfectly. And there’s another shelf with fairytale books: Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, and Treasure Island are the ones she reads the most.

On the other side of her room is a small side table with her iPod and speakers so she can play music. She tends to bring that into the workshop to listen when she works. 

The walls of her room are a slate blue and white. She also has little Electric pokemon wall stickers on the walls.

Do they have any daily rituals?

The only daily rituals Tifa does would probably be: waking up, going to the bathroom, brush her teeth, put her earrings on, getting dressed, eat breakfast and feed her/the Pokemon, and then check what she has to do. Depending on what she has planned, she’ll either be in the workshop doing some tinkering and inventing, or she’ll be out and about.

Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?

She does exercise! She does MMA and kickboxing! She will often go to the gym twice a week! She has also learned self-defence as an added bonus to her list of physical activities to do. She really does enjoy MMA and kickboxing tho, because it’s something else to keep her busy when she’s not in her father’s workshop tinkering and inventing stuff.

What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?

She’d probably ask Parsley or Cilan if there are any leftovers in the fridge. Except then Parsley or Cilan would be like “no no no you need to eat fresh food” and they’d have her sit down at the dinning table to wait until they’re finished preparing and making dinner.

Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)

It’s somewhat messy, but it’s not clean either. She can still be able to find what she needs without shuffling around wondering where a certain item went.

Oh man. Okay so she’s meticulous with her food and how she chews it. She likes to divide her food in her mouth in order to chew with both sides (if that makes sense?). Her meals are pretty different depending on what Cilan or Parsley makes. But she will always, always, have MooMoo Milk.

Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time

The one thing she’d probably do when she wants to do nothing at all would just lay in her bed listening to music. Asides from inventing and MMA, she loves listening to music. It calms her down a lot, especially if she’s getting stressed.

She’d probably eat an entire lemon meringue pie, to be honest, ha ha

Nope, she doesn’t wear makeup!

She doesn’t have any, but she does recognize that people out there has mental illnesses. She’s not going to act as though she’s above them because she doesn’t experience what they experience.

Probably one that gets her a job to invent stuff or restore old, broken down things and have them be brand spankin’ new again!

Adventure and science-fiction!

Tifa is bisexual/romantic! She believes that love is love, regardless of gender. As long as the person makes them happy, that’s all that matters. And if they’re nice to them, their family, and friends because that is also important.

Nope, not that I can think of at the moment!

Biggest and smallest short term goal?

Her biggest short term goal is to start her own little side business/project in restoring old parts/machines/contraptions and such.

Her biggest long term goal is  to get a formal education on engineering in order to open up her own business!

I’m confused about this one b/c i’m not sure if it’s like, an actual dress it’s asking, or the type of clothes she wears? So I’ll do both.

Tifa’s preferred outfits would be a plain t-shirt, overalls or jumpers, and her crop-top jacket. As long as she’s wearing anything comfortable and something she doesn’t mind getting dirty, then whatever.

Dresses on the other hand tho. She rarely wears dresses as she feels incredibly uncomfortable in them.

Favorite beverage?

She really loves Moo-Moo milk and orange juice

What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

Tifa thinks about what she can do inventing wise. Like if she’s currently working on a project, she’d be busy thinking about the parts, how to build the next bit, and so forth. It takes about an hour or two before she clonks out.

If she’s not working on anything, she’d just put on music in the background and fall asleep.

Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?

She once ate a really bad chicken pot pie and ended up crouching over the toilet for hours on end. There was an instance where it got so bad she had to go to the hospital. Food poisoning. Ever since then, Tifa refused to eat chicken pot pie.

Turn-ons? Turn-offs?

I’ll stray away from the sexual turn ons/offs for now.

Tifa’s turn on would probably be her s/o expressing genuine interest in her hobbies and just engaging in conversation with her about said hobbies. She loves being able to share her work and her fondness about what she does to the people she cares about. Bonus if s/o catches on with the lingo and/or offers some semblance of help to Tifa in any upcoming projects.

Also lemon meringue pie. If her s/o bakes her lemon meringue pie, she’ll smooch you forever.

Her turn off would probably be if the person is acting snide, arrogant, and demeaning towards others. She hates it when people act as though they are better than others. She’s also not so keen on people being overly messy and expects her to clean up after them.

She would start drawing out plans and blueprints for her next project probably

She’s not extremely organized, nor is she extremely disorganized. She’s somewhere in between. And it doesn’t really affect a lot of her everyday life. She’ll occasionally misplace a few tools here and there (maybe accidentally putting her drink and oil can next to each other), but other than that, she’s managed to get by well enough.

Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?

She’s really good at engineering! She’s also great at physics but she prefers engineering a lot more. And funny enough, she’s sorta okay with computer science. But don’t tell anyone that!

How do they see themselves 5 years from today?

Making lots of neat inventions, fixing a bunch of broken things and restoring them to their glory - or better.

Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?

If her whole business with inventing and restoring falls through the roof, she doesn’t mind working at a garage as a mechanic! It wouldn’t be something that she’d LOVE, but she does enjoy it to a degree!

What is their biggest regret?

She doesn’t have one at the moment!

Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?

She definitely seeks Parsley and Rose-Mary as her best friends. They’re her older siblings of course, but she loves how she can rely on them from time to time!

She’d just stare, gather her belongings if possible, and just walk up to someone to ask for help. She’d be pretty calm in the situation.

Oh she’d be MORTIFIED! She hates thinking about the concept of death, so if one of her family members suddenly dies, she’d be cooped up in her room! She’ll definitely go through those how-many-number-idk stages of grief for sure.

She appreciates them, a lot. She would be heavily heartbroken if she loses her belongings or even her tools she uses to work. But she knows that she can buy a new set of tools. Not unless they were limited editions or things that possessed sentimental values. Then that’s a WHOLE different story.

If the things she owned had sentimental value, she would just be crushed if something happened to it. Crushed.

Home is where you feel comfortable and the most yourself. Family are people you surround yourself with.

She’s a pretty private person when it comes to the more intimate details. She’s shy and doesn’t really want to overshare things with people. But once you really get to know her, she’ll pour her heart out and would not be too scared to throw in some TMI things here and there!

Tifa enjoys knitting but she finds it a bit too much - especially since she would rather use her hands to make or fix things. But she knows that knitting is really good for dexterity so she can’t really complain.

Realizing that she’s wrong in an argument, or accidentally endangering someone from one of her inventions.

It honestly depends on the situation! If it relates to her work, or if she’s being a mediator in something, she’d take the analytical route. If it personally affects her, she’d take the emotional route!

She got pretty far in formal education, but wishes to advance more! She thinks formal and self-education are both valid forms of education! When she was younger, she had to self-teach herself a few things (with help from Clemont and some of his engineering books as well!)

Oh she’s pretty superstitious and thinks occult/witchcraft is pretty real. She wouldn’t mess with it though, especially since she knows nothing about it. But even if she DID, she would still not mess with it. It’s not her place to tangle herself up with something that could make or break.

Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?

She does it by words! She’ll tell you over and over again how much she appreciates you, or how much you need to back the fuck off.

If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

Appearance wise, she leans more towards people with dark hair. For guys, she’d prefer if they were taller than her, but she’s fine if they were shorter. For girls, she’s okay with either. Best if the person takes care of themselves hygiene wise.

Personality wise, someone who’s fun, adventerous, and not afraid of the unknown! Someone who appreciates the bigger picture in life, and someone who can stand up for themselves.

How do they express love?

She’d be shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll smile a lot when she’s around the people that she loves (platonically, romantically or familial, it’s all the same). She’ll also give them hugs!

So I've got a friend who makes fun of me a lot and gets on my nerves just as much. But they're also really fun and make me laugh. Do you have any advice on how to deal with them? How would Daniel, Tifa, Pib, and Atlas go about dealing with this person?

Okay real talk there friendo, best to tell this friend that you want em’ to stop making fun of you. If they comply, then cool! Because maybe the friend didn’t mean to do that and all is well. If they say they won’t but continues doing it, or they don’t comply and get defensive about “oh it’s just a joke!” then you best delete their ass out of your life. 

Your happiness is worth so much more than being belittled and being the butt of this person’s joke okay like, it is not fun, believe me. I have a friend exactly like this. But talk to them first, tell them how you feel when this person makes fun of you and stuff. Because honestly, is being friends with someone who is fun to be around also worth being belittled and put down a lot?

Daniel would feel completely horrible and reclusive when this friend treats him like so. He’ll often tell his sister about it, to see what he can do about it, because yeah this friend is really great to hang out with, but he hates how they always put them down. Paige Isabella, upon hearing that his brother’s friend is treating him like so, will help Daniel boost up his confidence and voice his feelings. When Daniel can’t tho, that’s when Paige Isabella comes in and puts that person in their place. She’ll also try and get Daniel to leave that friend. Because he is worth more than being someone’s toy to push around and make fun of.

Paige Isabella on the other hand, tends to not even realize this friend is making her feel like shit. It takes the words of a third party to really see clearly. Paige Isabella is much too trusting at times and will often try and suck it up, even if she feels horrible with the person. So when realization hits, she does everything in her power to distance herself from the person. If it’s not too bad, then she’ll talk to the person and voice that she hates it when they put her down, or make her feel inferior. If that person apologizes and doesn’t do it anymore, then it’s fine. But if they continue or try to defend their actions, then Paige Isabella knows that she needs to cut ties with them.

Tifa will legit put her foot down the MINUTE the person makes her feel like shit. If she’s learned anything from video games, and her fathers, and siblings, and other stuff, she knows that she is much better than someone who belittles others just to make them feel better. It’s not worth staying friends with someone who will emotionally manipulate others like so.

Atlas would be hesitant and skeptic about it at first, trying to see if it’s just a joking thing that the person does to everyone and stuff. He’ll wait it out and see what else this person will do or say. If the insults keeps going and gets very personal, then Atlas will confront the friend and be like “hey, I don’t like it when you belittle me all the time as a joke. It upsets and frustrates me a lot. So I’d appreciate it if you’d stop doing that.” If the person apologizes for their actions and doesn’t do it again, then it’s fine. If it keeps going then well, bye-bye fucker.

Map out all the possibilities and figure out the best route that’ll likely help you achieve your goal faster and efficiently

Stick up for people who can’t stand up for themselves

Always be honest and truthful about things happening around you - even if it might hurt others

Don’t take things for granted, because who knows how long they’ll last and be there for you

I know I wrote in a post previously saying how the main6 would listen to “x” genre, but honestly, I feel like some of their tastes would vary from time to time? Like I know Atlas’ was different from the songs he’d usually listen to? But yeah, sometimes I don’t really follow my own canon lol

Headcanons about Tifa?

Tifa is a go-getter and will do whatever to accomplish a goal she has set for herself. sometimes it gets to the point where she’s so focused on it that she forgets about everything else around her

She’s far-sighted, so she needs to work with stuff wearing her glasses. She gets embarrassed about wearing her glasses tho, so she tends to “accidentally” forget them. But if she’s not wearing it, she will have a horrible time working on her projects

When she’s really focused on her works, she will end up reaching for an oil can, believing it to be her consumable beverage. There have been MANY close calls with that child. Thankfully her Pokemon are there to supervise her b/c Tifa child pls don’t accidentally drink the oil oh my god that can needs to be AWAY from her

I see her as either Lawful Neutral or Neutral Good. One or the other, I haven’t properly picked which since I’d need to look over the two alignments in more details

I’m going to be a fucking nerd and say that Tifa loves playing Final Fantasy. Her favourite characters being: Tifa Lockhart (b/c hey they have the same name! go figure!), Aerith Gainsborough (hey they have the same pink ribbon in her hair!), Cinque (wow they have the same hairstyle cool!), and Yuna (WOW SAME EYE COLOURS) sorry not sorry

One time she wanted to be referred to as Bayleaf, but Clemont was not having any of that. Cilan, fortunately, humoured her, but in the end it just didn’t really go through, so Tifa remains being called “Tifa” (note: her first name is actually Bailey, not Bayleaf)

She loves Electric and Steel type Pokemon, her first Pokemon was actually Rotom!

Her closet is full of jumpers and overalls, all stained with oil. The only fancy-like clothes that she owns is like, a skirt. Except that’s a skirt she wore when she was a kid. She keeps it still to counteract her half-siblings complaints about her having nothing but overalls and jumpers

She has some pretty intense strength packed inside of her. Like she can punch the fuck outta someone with just her fists. However, she only does that when someone is being a prick, or if she’s being attacked. Cilan and Clemont made sure Tifa took self-defence classes growing up (mostly kickboxing/MMA)

Her fave dessert is lemon meringue pie (see what I did there? she’s a lemonmeringuepie kid, and her fave dessert is-- yeah okay never mind)

She’s pretty great at mechanic stuff? Like fixing cars and all that. However, fixing cars are not her favourite things to do. Like she’ll do it if there’s a need for it, but it’s just not something she’s overtly passionate about.

Her hair can get pretty messy, which is why it’s constantly kept in a braid. She has tried styling it differently, but it always felt and looked so awkward.

The pink ribbon was given to her by Parsley as a birthday present, and the necklace that she wears is a gift by Rose-Mary as a Christmas present

She loves her older half-siblings and would always show the two of them her new projects, or inventions, or just whatever she fixed. She’s not too close with (Sage) Cameron and (Thyme) Sonny, being that they live in diff cities (still haven’t figured out where Trip and his other two kids live - but I know that they all live in Unova; same with Cilan, Clemont, and co., they live in Striaton City) But when Cameron and Sonny visits for the holidays, she’ll make an attempt to get along with them - and it’ll usually work out in her favour b/c the two of them adores their lil half-sister. They spoil her rotten.

Tifa loves Bonnie, Chili, and Cress. Like she loves her aunt and uncles so much b/c they always either tell her cool stories about what happened in their gym (Bonnie took over as Lumiose City Gym Leader), or just everyday stuff. Bonnie will always send Tifa cute Pokemon dolls when she can’t make it over for the holidays. Chili and Cress will help teach Tifa how to make certain desserts, they’ll even let her lick the mixing spoon! But sshh! Don’t tell Cilan that!
