Studio artist reflections. I was painting the last weeks with in my rotation fast. Repeating a lot of my typical motives, details. Muscle memory, routine, scared to bore my audience, due too much repitition. Since afew days started playing with different painting strategies, forcing myself out of my painting the usual with the usual mindset. Widening my spectrum with a different mindset. I might start taking photos from real life naturalistic things, like machine parts, designed objects, etc. how to get better, or get good, or just start with different ways to progressing my paintings, with in a different way. I might give my self fun rules, like iam just aloud to further integrate painting things, forms, elements, which are different from what I normally what do. Accepting that it takes longer, and or, working with a kitchen egg timer, being equal fast. The photos are from the last days. I feel like i must mentally make a quantum jump, a jump thru hyper space like with in a science fiction movie. Just with in my creative work pattern. Going in to my self with depth, to grow. Variation from 3d spaceship like structures, surfaces. Light, light shadow, material structures. The architecture of huge space ships, jets, farming machines, military vehicles, constructing & mining vehicles.
