A day at the winery.
âĄď¸: Okay, so, I tried to make a fic to see how will it go. I just wanted to try something new. Hope you enjoy, this is my first fic. You can tell me if I need to change some things on my writing.
Ships: Diluc x Tartaglia.
Lee: Diluc, (Tartaglia, a little)
Ler: Tartaglia, (Diluc, a little)
Characters: 4.856.
This is a tickle fic, if you don't like it, please just scroll down.
Today was a normal day at the Dawn Winery, Diluc could say. That was until the door of the winery opened, and a ginger haired male entered the room, looking like a ball of energy.
"Master Diluc, long time we don't see!" - Tartaglia said, rushing towards the counter of the bar with a big smile on his lips.
"Ah, sure we haven'tâŚ" - The red haired man said with a sigh, leaving some clean wine glasses on a shelve.
Tartaglia titled his head and simply pouted - "What?, you didn't miss me all the time I was out? So mean, master Diluc. I thought you will smile even a little..." - The ginger hummed, looking away.
"I can't say I haven't missed you, Tartaglia. I just think that before you came here was really peaceful." - Diluc said, turning around to face the ginger with his arms crossed.
The ginger boredly stared at the other, huffing - "I thought you liked my energy." - "I sure do, sometimes your energy entertains some people, but I'm tired today. I haven't rest in a while."
The ginger perked up a little when he Heard those words. - "I suppose it's by your work." - The ginger said, leaning forward. - "You can't go to your house now? I'm the only person here, from what I see. Your personal is not here either, why are you still working?"
"Hm, I'm not feeling tired. I was advancing some work." - the male said, just using excuses. He didn't wanted to sleep, not because he didn't wanted, it was just because he was stubborn. Before the personal was gone, some of them almost begged him to go rest, but he didn't obey them. - "Is it that, or just because you are really stubborn naturally?"
The red head looked at the other, arching an eyebrow. - "Tsk, what do you mean like that?, I'm not stubborn..." - He muttered, closing his eyes and looking away from the ginger. - "Sure you aren't, master Diluc." - He smiled softly, rounding the counter and entering, to start hugging the other from behind.
"When are you planning to finish your 'advances' on your work?" - "Mh, who knows. Two/three hours, maybe more." - Diluc responded, crossing his arms, looking away. - "That's too late, It's already 12 am- huh? Are you okay?" - Tartaglia got interrupted by a sudden jolt from the red head when he nuzzled his nose behind the other's ear.
The hydro user could see that Diluc's cheeks and ears were slightly red. - "It's nothing..." - Diluc muttered, discreetly trying to separate from the hug. Tartaglia decided to try something, and gently kissed the same spot were he put his nose on, earning a yelp from the other.
"Diluc... Don't tell me that..."
"Shut up."
"I haven't say anything!!" - Tartaglia smiled, putting his fingers on the other's waist, making the red head quickly grab his wrist.- "Tartaglia..." - "Hm?" - "Don't you dare..." - "Too late!"
Tartaglia started kissing the spot behind Diluc's ear, making the other try to hold back his laughter. - "Come on, master Diluc... Laugh a little, will you?" - Tartaglia said, starting to dig his fingers on Diluc's ribs, making the other finally start laughing.
"S-Stohop it in this instant, Tahartaglia!!" - Diluc groaned through his laughter, his ears turning red, almost combining with the color of his hair. - "Look at your ears! They look like they're a part of your hair!" - The ginger grinned, now gently blowing raspberries on Diluc's neck, and tickling his armpits, making the normally serious male start to laugh uncontrollably.
"CH-CHIHIHILDEHEHE!!" - Diluc squirms in the hug, trying to push the other away, but Tartaglia simply trapped him between the counter and himself. - "STOHOHOP, THIHIS IS CHIHILDISH." - Diluc said, his face about to explode from how red it is.
"If you give me a Kiss, I might stop..." - He acted like he was thinking, while still tickling the other's armpits. - F-Fihihine! J-Juhust stohohop!"
With that, the ginger quickly stopped, and let the other catch his breath. When Diluc relaxed, he turned around to face Tartaglia with a frown, while the ginger brightly smiled at him. - "Where's my Kiss?" - The ginger asked innocently, making kissing sounds, while Diluc rolled his eyes, but couldn't help but smile a little. - "You're so annoying, you know?" - "But you love me!!"
Diluc sighed and got his face closer to Tartaglia's, his lips almost touching. Finally, Diluc started gently kissing Tartaglia's lips, the ginger corresponding it.
Suddenly, Tartaglia could feel some hands gently tickling his middle, making him break the Kiss with a giggle. - "W-Whahat? Dihiluc!"
"You think I forgot you were ticklish too, fatui? Now it's my turn." - Diluc said, smirking, as he tickled the ginger's navel, making the ball of energy explode with laughter.
This type of fights always occurred when Tartaglia went to visit Diluc. None of them both could say they hated those moments, after all, they don't really have time to be this closeâŚ

Ahh, thank you so much for your support AND for requesting them, eheheh, writing chilluc is always a bliss
Tartaglia grinned down at Diluc, firmly - almost painfully - pinning his wrists under his knee. âLast chance, master Diluc,â he sang, his fingers wiggling teasingly as they hovered over his torso, looking for a good target and the perfect moment to strike. âDo you admit defeat?â
âTskâŚâ Diluc growled, trying to pull his arms down, but with no avail. Knocking him down during their sparring wasnât enough? âWhat do you want me to say? Just let me gAH!â
âWrong answer,â Tartaglia grinned, tickling both Dilucâs armpits relentlessly, clawing and scratching and prodding, even sneaking the tips of his fingers inside his sleeve to torture the bare skin. âWhen you get it right, I might let you go,â Tartaglia cooed, but, as Diluc continued to laugh, something struck him: did he ever tell him what was the right answer? Well, it didn't matter, Diluc would eventually figure it out.

I loved the fanfic, but was Venti drunk enough to sleep where he stayed after Diluc took him out of the tavern?

Little Brother
wc: 1.5k
chr: brief venti, kaeya, diluc
sum: Diluc sees a familiar face at his workplace while unwillingly in a deep lee mood.
dni luckae shippers đ this isnt 4 u
Diluc furrowed his eyebrows as he spilled yet another drink he was trying to serve to a customer, grabbing a cloth and wiping down the small spill, giving the filled drink to the man who was patiently waiting for it. Diluc watched as he left, looking down at the cloth he had just put in his hand. It had wine all over it.
For the whole day, only one thing has been on Dilucâs mind: His lee mood. The big and scary muscular man, Diluc Ragnvindr, was knee deep in a lee mood and he had no idea how to shoo it away. He did know one way, and thatâs asking for it, but heâs absolutely not asking anyoâ
âDiluuuuc~!â
The redhead snapped out of his own mind when he heard a familiar bardâs voice, and the ring of the bell that rang every time someone opened the main door. Venti sat down onto his usual seat, the one at the very right of Diluc, and winked at him. âMy usual, please!â
Diluc nodded, turning around and grabbing a bottle of Dandelion Wine. He went back to the counter and opened the bottle, pulling a cup towards him and pouring it in. Once again, he started to zone out at the thought of someoneâs fingers creeping up from his hips to his underarms and scribbling back down, or someone squeezing his thighs and teasing him about how hard heâs laughing..Orâ
âDiluc!â
Venti called for him and interrupted his thoughts again, looking down and seeing yet another spill made from his distraction. Why does this keep happening?
âDiluc..are you okay? You werenât responding to me at all and your face got really red. Are you drunk yourself? Diluc, are you finally coming to terms about how amazing wine is?! I knew youâd come around!â Diluc sighed and shook his head. âIâm fine, bard. Just a little hot.â
Another ring from the door had caught Dilucâs attention, him frowning a bit when he saw who it was. Kaeya sat down next to a slightly tipsy Venti and rested his hand on his cheek.
âHello, dear brother. Long time no see, hm? I need to come here more often, Iâm sure..â Diluc turned to the bottles to get Kaeyaâs usual, pouring it in fine (thank the lords, Kaeya wouldnât have let that go past him) and handing it to him. âThere.â
âAh, thank you. I didnât think you would remember.â Diluc scoffed. âLike you donât come here every week and ask for the same thing.â Kaeya laughed and took a sip of his drink. âWhy so mean, Diluc? I just want to come visit my brother and see how heâs doing! Lighten up a bit.â Kaeya emphasized his point with a poke to his side, Diluc jumping with a gasp.
Venti, thankfully, had his eyes closed and probably wasnât listening. Kaeya, in fact, was. âAha, I forgot that worked on you. I thought you wouldâve grown out of it by now, I suppose not.â Dilucâs face got redder and he crossed his arms, huffing out a quiet âshut upâ.
Kaeya stood up and cocked an eyebrow, leaning over the counter a little. âWhat was that?â Diluc stepped back slightly, moving his hair from his eyes. âNnnothing.â He looked to the side, hearing Kaeya chuckle at him. âNow I know how to put you in your place, mm?â
Diluc and Kaeya both looked up in unison, hearing a clock chime from outside. The clock usually meant Diluc was off of his shift and that the winery was closed, so he grabbed his bag and woke Venti to leave.
âBrother.â Diluc turned around, removing his hand from the door handle. âWill you go on a walk with me? We used to all the time, I thought we could reminisce for a little.â Diluc turned back and looked at the door handle, thinking for a moment. He looked back up at Kaeya and nodded. âSure.â
Kaeyaâs eyebrows rose, not expecting Diluc to agree and assuming he would just walk away. He smiled softly, walking towards him. âLetâs go, then.â
â
Diluc sat on a rock next to Kaeya, admiring the large tree in front of them at Windrise. Kaeya looked over at Diluc and smiled. âRemember when we would sit at this very tree and talk about anything that was ever on our mind?â Diluc nodded silently, still staring at the tree that had beared so many memories of their childhood.
Of course, as his lee mood was still there, he had to think about the times he and Kaeya had their tickle fights. Diluc would usually win, but sometimes he let Kaeya win. Right now, if they were having one, Kaeya would have absolutely won. He misses when Kaeya would pin him down after they wrestled and dug into his ribs or blew a raspberry through his thin shirt on his stomach, not realizing that his face was once again getting redder by the second.
âWhat did you miss?â Dilucâs head shot up, staring at Kaeya with wide eyes. âNothing!â Kaeya smiled and moved towards him, Diluc flushing even more. âNo, no. You said something, I know you did.â
Diluc shook his head but gasped loudly when he felt a hand rest on his side. âOh, no.â he said to himself internally, but he knew his brain was going âOh, yes.â
Kaeya grinned evilly and walked two fingers up his side, Dilucâs breath hitching. He was as silent as he could be, furrowing his eyebrows at Kaeya. âWhat did you say, Diluc?â He gently dug into the spot just under his ribs, getting a little yelp out of his brother. âNn..nohothing.â
Kaeya chuckled. Diluc knew he was dead by the tone of voice Kaeya had. âWell, if youâre not going to say it..â The cryo user immediately pounced onto the pyro user, digging his fingers into his stomach. Diluc coughed out a squeal, breaking quickly and letting the dam of breathy giggles out.
âKaha- Kahahaeya!â He attempted to cover his face, but was quickly stopped by a hand grabbing both of his wrists and pinning them under their knees. Oh, god, no.
Kaeya grinned as he vibrated into his stomach, snaking his hands under his shirt and scritching at his navel. Diluc snorted and tried to squirm his way out to no avail, his loud laughter only fueling Kaeya.
âYouâre still as ticklish as you were when we were young, I see! I donât know how anyone sees you as scary when youâre so sensitive..â Dilucâs face only flushed a brighter red as his laughter increased..Kaeya knew teasing always got to him. Diluc let out a shriek when his ribs were attacked from under his shirt, arching his back up and crashing it back down when it made it tickle even worse.
âKahaHAahaeyaha! PlehehEAHASE!â Kaeya blew a small raspberry on Dilucâs stomach. âPlease, what?â Diluc tried to flip Kaeya off with his hands under his knees, but it didnât work so well. Kaeya still got the point, though.
âOh, how rude!â Kaeya immediately jumped to his highest rib, making Diluc scream and cackle, thrashing even harder. This was incredibly embarrassing, but it was exactly what he wanted all day.
The rough tickling turned to soft as Kaeya swirled a finger gently around his navel. âDear brother, would you like to say what you said now? I heard you miss something, I just want to know.â Diluc giggled softly at the tickling and looked up at Kaeya, teary eyed. He completely forgot what this was for. âN..Nohoho..â
Kaeya sighed exaggeratedly, positioning his fingers over Dilucâs underarms. âYour funeral, then!â He giggled as he dug into the hollows of his arms, making Diluc let out the loudest shriek heâs let out yet and going silent.
âKAHAHAHAEYAHAHAA!â He screamed out, thrashing and shaking his head, ruining his usually pretty and fluffy hair. Kaeya only dug harder. âHey, you shouldnât be able to talk right now!â And not talk he did. He only went silent, and after a few seconds Kaeya went back to soft tickles, this time on his underarms.
âIâm running out of time to tickle you, since you have stamina and all. Pleaaase?â He gave Diluc the best puppy eyes he could. Diluc sighed in the middle of his hysteric giggles. âFihihine.â Kaeya removed his hands from his underarms, setting them on his lap. Diluc was still giggling.
âIhihi- Ihi missed it whehen you uhum, did, thehe thing.â Kaeya cocked an eyebrow. âThe thing?â Diluc nodded. âYohou just did ihit.â Kaeyaâs expression went from realization to adoration.
âDiluc, thatâs the cutest thing Iâve ever heard.â He got off of Diluc, letting him sit up and regain his composure. âShuhut up..â Diluc yawned, leaning up to a rock. Kaeya moved closer to him, wrapping his arms around Diluc hesitantly and putting his head on his shoulder.
Usually, Diluc would push him away and scoff if he ever tried to hug him. This time, he felt Diluc melt into him. He yawned again, closing his eyes.
âIs it okay if I sleep here? With you?â Kaeya softly questioned.
âYes, itâs fine. Now shut up and let me sleep.â
Kaeya laughed. He feels like a little brother again.

Late night company | Diluc x Venti
A/N: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOOOOVE ( @otomiyaa ) â¤ď¸đđ§đ I hope you enjoy this little gift~ I'm still on time hehe â¤ď¸
I'm wishing you the best, sweetie đĽşâ¤ď¸ I loooove you so muuuch MWAH đâ¤ď¸
Summary: đ¤đ¤đ¤

âUntil tomorrow, Master Diluc!âÂ
âYes. Have a good night.â
Slowly, the last customers began to leave, the employees yawning and wishing Diluc good night after their shift. Diluc stayed inside the tavern, finishing arranging some chairs, cleaning some tables and perhaps, doing a little inventory to see if anything was missing for tomorrow.Â
He worked in silence, adjusting here and there, his cheeks a little flushed from the heat inside the tavern and his feet a little tired after having played not only bartender but also as a waiter, but being busy also kept his mind busy and there were times when he just didn't want to listen to his own thoughts.Â
Luckily for him, there was something else that was still keeping his mind more occupied than the work he was doing.Â
Well, actually... someone.Â
He couldn't resist, his eyes just moved on their own to the bar where a very drunk Venti was talking and talking about archons know what. In fact, Diluc could barely understand half of his words. He was stuttering, unable to form very long words and slurred his speech. The r's became b's and some vowels changed sound too. It was kind of funny and cute.
It was already a habit for Diluc to have Venti accompany him until late at the tavern when everyone else had already left. At first Diluc thought it was just so he could drink more, but no matter how much he asked him to leave, Venti flatly refused, and if Diluc was honest, Venti's company didn't bother him at all.Â
The nights passed like this and over time, Diluc began to notice Venti. Really notice Venti. He had a lovely face, really adorable. His blue eyes always sparkled while he talked and talked with a huge, toothy smile; his rosy cheeks looked like apples about to fall from the tree. Diluc's heart began to race at the thought of spending more time with Venti and he looked forward to every night, even his duties as a Darknight Hero were affected, but that was another story.Â
In short, Diluc had fallen in love with Venti, but there was no way he was going to confess. That would be... complicated and overwhelming not only for him, but for Venti as well, plus, the bard was usually too drunk to understand a word Diluc said. It just wasn't worth it.Â
âAnd then, and then!â Venti continued his story, his arms flailing around and his legs kicking a little. âThe traveler was there and- and I was-âÂ
Traveler this, traveler that. He certainly didn't make any sense, but his face lit up at the mere mention of the traveler. It bothered him. He has never been a jealous person, not even when Kaeya came into his life, but now... why did he feel that way?Â
âAnd then, the traveler grabbed his sword and-â
âYou've been staying overnight for almost a month.â His voice came out a little too abrupt and dry. Venti finally stopped talking and the silence was deafening.Â
Venti tilted his head to the side. âAnd?âÂ
âAnd?â Diluc put down the rag he was wiping down a table to look at Venti, his arms crossed over his chest. âYou haven't paid me. Not even a single day. Do you think you can drink for free just because you stay late?âÂ
He didn't really care, but making this scene had worked to get Venti's dazed brain to stop thinking about the traveler. Diluc took it as a victory.Â
âI thought you liked me keeping you company.â Venti pouted and Diluc felt the tips of his ears heating up and his heart tingled when Venti giggled. âI will pay you, definitely!â
Diluc raised an eyebrow. âWill you now?â
âYes! I'll definitely pay you⌠with a performance!âÂ
Diluc's brow furrowed and his eyes narrowed. The bard laughed nervously and it seemed like his cheeks had reddened even more. Diluc looked at him for a moment and then walked over, stopping right in front of him.Â
âA foolish performance isn't enough to settle your debt." Diluc leaned forward, placing his hands on the edge of the bar, caging Venti in his arms. Venti leaned back as far as he could, stuttering as he tried to speak again.Â
âW-What are you s-saying! My performances are a-always s-so- so good!â The bitter smell of alcohol hit his nose and he wrinkled it slightly, it was a smell he had never liked, however, in Venti, Diluc thought it wasn't so terrible. The bard gulped and Diluc saw his pretty eyes moving from side to side, looking for a way out of his predicament.Â
He didn't seem as dizzy as he had been a few moments ago, but his brain really couldn't handle his own limbs yet.
âTh-Then, I'll-â His warm breath hit Diluc's cheeks again. Now that he thought about it, his cheeks not only looked like apples, Venti also smelled like one. âI'll p-pay you with-â
âYour body.âÂ
Silence reigned and Diluc was sure Venti had stopped breathing as his eyes widened. His heart was also beating hard and now the shells of his ears started to get warm, but he tried to act calm. He let out a soft chuckle and his hands closed around the other's waist. Venti squealed and he kicked a bit, but Diluc easily lifted him up and sat him on top of the bar, placing himself between his legs as he pulled Ventiâs body closer to him.Â
âW-What are you d-doing?!â Venti squirmed, his cheeks and ears reddening. âM-Master Diluc, this is not appropriate, I- I can't pay you with my body⌠here.âÂ
âYes you can,â Diluc said calmly, just a couple of centimeters away from Venti's face, their noses almost touching, their breathing mingling. âAnd you will.â He moved a little closer to Venti's face. Diluc felt him tense, his breathing quickening as his eyes closed tightly. What was Venti expecting exactly? He couldn't help but feel butterflies.Â
Diluc smiled softly as his hands began to move on Venti's waist, tickling him.Â
Venti jolted and gasped and Diluc fought the urge to laugh when he saw him opening his eyes wide as his lips started to tremble into a smile. âWhat- what are y-you- no! Nohoho! Why?!â
âHmm? Didn't I say you'd pay with your body?âÂ
âNot like this!â Venti's hands wrapped around Diluc's wrists, trying to push his hands away.Â
âOh? Did you have anything else in mind?â He smirked, his hands squeezing Venti's tiny waist. âPlease do tell me what it was.âÂ
Venti's face turned incredibly red and Diluc couldn't help but blush as well as his heart skipped a beat. However, his hands did not stop for even a moment, he wiggled his fingers up and down Venti's sides, squeezing here and there to make him squeal and jolt as if he had been touched by electricity.Â
Venti was laughing wildly, trying to make Diluc stop, his smile was really huge and his nose was scrunching up a little, making him look even more adorable and carefree. His laughter was so bubbly and funny, Diluc had to chuckle himself as his fingers gently dug into Venti's ribs, pinching and rubbing each bone, causing Venti to squeal and cackle and arch his back.Â
âM-Master Diluc!â He gasped between laughs. âI c-cahahan't!âÂ
âWeâre not even halfway through it.â Diluc moved down to Venti's tummy and Venti giggled brightly, curling forward, his forehead resting against Diluc's shoulder. âAt this rate, I'll have to do this for weeks until you pay me off.â
Venti shook his head, unable to speak as Diluc vibrated his fingers against the center of his stomach and he laughed and laughed like a little kid. His hands still desperately tried to push Diluc's away and cover the spots Diluc went after.Â
âTch.â The tickling suddenly stopped, but Venti could barely relax before Diluc grabbed his wrists with his hands. âThese pesky hands are on the way, don't you think?âÂ
âH-Huh?! N-Noho! They're d-dohoing their work defending me from your pesky finge-e-ehehers! Lehehet gohoho!âÂ
Diluc gathered both Venti's wrists in one of his hands behind Venti's back, exposing his torso completely to his tickly fingers. The bard tried to fight him off, but Diluc's grip was like iron and so Venti could only kick his legs and squirm from side to side like a little fish out of water. He looked at Venti fondly, his smile gentle. Oh, he was so head over heels for him. He really, really liked him. He really wasn't going to do anything about it?Â
âAHAHAHA! Not thehere! Nohohot there!â
âStop moving.âÂ
Diluc's hand had found Venti's armpit. His fingers wiggled, dug and vibrated against the spot, making Venti shriek with laughter, little tears gathering in the corner of his eyes. His head low, face so close to Diluc's. So close, he could angle his head up just slightly and their lips would meet. Just⌠a slightly⌠tilt of his head andâŚ
The laughter suddenly ended and a sharp breath echoed through the Angel's share as Diluc pressed his lips against Venti's smiling mouth. Diluc closed his eyes, his lips parting slightly to poke his tongue out and touch Venti's lips. Venti gasped, opening his mouth and Diluc pushed his tongue in, kissing him deeply, one hand holding Venti's waist, pulling him close. The other was still holding his hands behind his back.Â
The bitter taste of alcohol filled his mouth, but he couldn't care less. That felt so good. Pleasant chills ran up and down Diluc's spine, his heart hammering against his ribcage, he was sure Venti could feel it because he could feel Venti's. The bard seemed to have turned to jelly in his arms. His body practically melted against Diluc's, kissing him slowly and gasping softly every time the tip of Diluc's tongue touched the roof of his mouth.Â
Diluc also felt like jelly, his knees shaking a little and his hands trembling. He didn't want to stop, what would happen next? He didn't want to know, but Venti was already breathless from laughing so much and Diluc was scared he would pass out from the lack of oxygen, so he slowly pulled apart, enough to look at Venti's eyes, their noses gently touching.Â
Venti opened his eyes slowly and he blinked a couple of times, the tears falling down his cheeks. Diluc didn't know what to say, but he was glad Venti did:
âT-That kiss was worth like one m-month of payment.âÂ
Diluc widened his eyes slightly before letting out a bright laugh. âYeah⌠I guess you're right.â He let go of Venti's hands and he quickly wrapped his arms around Diluc's neck, bringing him closer to him. Diluc gasped, holding onto the bar.Â
âNow I really want to pay you with my body, you know?â Venti smirked, leaning close to Diluc's ear. âAnd I'm not talking about tickling, Master Diluc.âÂ
Diluc breath hitched. He shuddered, feeling Venti's warm lips against the erratic pulse on the side of his neck and then his hot tongue licking a path to the hollow under his ear, making him whimper slightly.Â
â... Don't forget about this in the morning.â Diluc whispered, his hands untying Venti's corset.Â
He giggled. âI won't, Master Diluc. How could I?âÂ
Diluc was going to have to clean the bar again, but it didn't matter. Not when Venti was making sounds that sent shivers down his spine and his soft skin felt like silk against Diluc's.Â
Venti looked at his eyes and smiled. âI like you, Master Diluc.â
Diluc smiled back and kissed him deeply. Yeah, he liked him too. Very much.Â

How your first sleepover with Genshin Men went
Fair warning, this is pure crack. No over-exaggerated fluff or cute stuff, just as real as sleeping beside another person can get!
Leave characters and ideas in the comments for part two !
Feat. Kaeya, Kaveh, Itto, Kazuha, and Diluc.
(Part One / Part Two / Part Three / Part Four / Part Five)
Taglist: @ticklish-n-stuff @elysianavenue @chrimsss @switch-writer @giggly-squiggily
You stared at your boyfriend lovingly as he cleaned up from the simple dinner date you had just shared. How lucky you were to have ended up with such a wonderful man like him⌠Lost in your own thoughts, you fail to miss the sudden pattering against the rooftop of his home.
He sighs and listens intently to the area outside before coming to a conclusion: it was way too heavily raining for you to go out there. When you blinked back to reality, you saw your lover knelt in front of you, wiping his hands with a towel.
â(Y/N), love, itâs really coming down out there⌠would you be okay to stay a little longer so it can calm down?â
âHmm- what? What?-â his words took a bit to process âI supposeâŚâ
The rain failed to calm down, it only seemed to roar more severely. You sighed longingly as you looked out the window. You heard a gentle chuckle and felt a hand on your shoulder. âFollow me, letâs start getting ready for bed.â
You furrowed your brows. âWhat do you mean, follow you?â
âYouâre my partner,â he answered. âThereâs no way Iâd ever let you sleep anywhere else than my bed.
You sighed and obeyed, completing as much of your nightly routine that you can (all while wearing pajamas that definitely arenât yours). You settled into bed next to him, immediately being wrapped in his arms.
You settled with a smile, closing your eyes and cuddling closeâŚ
Kaeya: The Revolving Door
After a few short minutes of relaxation, you felt your boyfriend squirm beneath you. Within an instant, Kaeya had muttered something and gently slipped out of bed, carefully placing you on the fluffy mattress.
âWhatâs wrong, honey?â You asked, still fully alert.
âBathroom light,ďżźâ He answered as he stepped back toward the bed.
He settled back down, then after a little maneuvering, it was like he never left.
You both closed your eyes once more, attempting to rest.
Fifteen minutes later, you were about to fall completely asleep. That is, until you felt yourself being moved again.
Your lover ever so carefully moved you off of him, retreating to the restroom once more. You groaned and opened your eyes. âKaeya?â
âI fr-go- bru-h- eef-â the distorted response was undoubtedly from a toothbrush in his mouth.. you couldnât help but chuckle a bit at him as you waited for him to return.
And as he had done previously, Kaeya returned to bed and settled down with a content sigh.
Perfect, now the two of you can-
âWait,â your boyfriend groaned. âLight.â
You rolled your eyes with a smile. âGo.â
Finally, the light was off, and Kaeya was in bed. You curled up against his chest and sighed with a smile. âGoodnight, love, â you hummed as you closed your eyes.
âGoodnight, sweetheart,â he replied, kissing your forehead.
After two minutes, you felt Kaeya squirming again. Though, he didnât move a muscle, despite the uncontrollable squirming.
ââŚDarling?â he asked softly.
Barbatos give you strengthâŚ
âYes, my love?â
âI gotta pee.â
Kaveh: The Acrobat
The room was silent, albeit the gentle hum of a ceiling fan. You felt your consciousness leaving you slowly, and you were close to falling asleepâŚ
Until you were accidentally smacked across the forehead by his hand.
While you were upset from being woken up, you couldnât help but chuckle as you picked up his wrist to move it from your forehead. You planted a gentle kiss on the back of his hand and placed it down on your cheek.
You couldâve sworn you saw Kavehâs lips curl upward at the gentle kiss, but it was short lived as he suddenly flipped over onto his other side.
You smacked face-down onto the mattress, barely registering what had happened. You groaned and slowly picked yourself up, rubbing your sore nose. When your eyes landed on the unmoving body of your boyfriend, you rolled your eyes and turned away from him.
You figured there was no sense in attempting to cuddle with him when he was moving so much. You closed your eyes and attempted to fall back asleep. After about five minutes, your eyes got very heavy, and you were near falling asleep.
However, sudden rustling from the other side of the bed made you alert. Before you could register what had happened, you were being pulled back into Kavehâs arms.
You squeaked but ultimately relaxed, turning around to kiss him on his lips. You both smiled and you rested your head in the crook of his neck.
Finally the two of you were almost both asleep. You could barely keep your eyes open, and were seconds away from falling a totally asleep.
And then, it happened.
And boy did it happen suddenly.
Within seconds, you landed smack-dab on the hardwood floor, having been accidentally kicked in the back.
âAGH- KAVEH!â You yelped, rubbing your sore bottom.
Your boyfriend awoke with a start, looking around frantically. âHoney?! Where are you, whatâs the matter?â
You groaned and clawed your way back on the bed, âNothing⌠Nothing is the matter,â you replied curtly.
âA-Are you sure? Why were you on the f-â
âI am ten seconds away from taping your limbs to this bed, thatâs why,â you spat. You sighed and fell forward onto his chest, wrapping your arms around him. âIf you kick me off the bed again, Iâm sleeping on the couch, capische?â
Kaveh only nodded fearfully as he kissed the top of your head.
Itto: The Loose Cannon
You sure did love your darling boyfriend. Life with him was never dull, and nights were⌠well, interesting to stay the least. He would always get so much more energized during the night, simply bouncing off of the walls.
Well, tonight marked your first sleepover, so he opted for eating spicy ramen with you and watching movies. Halfway through the film, your boyfriend excused himself to the restroom, proudly announcing that he had a battle to fight.
You rolled your eyes. You couldnât help but smile at the stupid codeword.
By the time he returned, the movie was done, and you were drifting off on the couch. Your eyes flutter open as you smile at him. âEverything come out okay?â You teased.
Itto merely laughed, scooping you up. âYeah, yeah. Itâs beddy time now. Now, come on! Let this big strong oni keep you company!â
You allowed Itto to carry you to his bed, wrapping your arms around him. And that is how you ended up where you are now⌠caged in his giant arms as he squirms uncomfortably behind you.
âIttoâŚ?â you asked softly. âIs everything-â
âYeah! Yeah Iâm great⌠just uhâŚâ he trailed off. âNope! Iâm good!â
You sigh, back settling down against his chest, you felt him squirming still, frowning gently. Well, you had to trust your boyfriend. If he said he was okay, you had to believe that-
Your chain of thoughts was interrupted by an almost cartoony-sounding toot echoing in the room. Your eyes snap open, and you push away from your boyfriend, looking at him with disbelief. âDid you-â
âNo!â
You begin to giggle. âOh gods- okay-â You chuckled despite the smell now filling your nose. Once it subsided, you returned to his arms with a sigh. âFeeling better now?â
Itto nodded against your head, planting a gentle kiss too. He returned to lying comfortably, his own eyes closing along with yours. The two of you are almost asleep when you hear the noise againâŚ
âItto!â you whined, scooting away from him. âNot again!â
âIâm sorry! It was that ramen, I swear!â The oni whined.
âWell try harder!â
âI canât help it!â
You groaned loudly and rolled your eyes before returning to cuddle him again. You sighed, damn near falling asleep.
And yet again, that pungent smell filled your nostrilsâŚ
âOh my gods- ITTO!â You yelped, turning away and pinching your nose. âStoppit!â
Before he could reply, he stood up quickly from the bed, retreating to the bathroom with a hasty shut of the door.
Itâs been twenty minutes⌠no signs of organic life from the bathroom.
You sigh and roll over.
Kazuha: The Apologist
Kazuha led you to his bedroom by your hand, gesturing for you to get comfortable. You obliged immediately, snuggling into the soft sheets. When you looked back at him, he looked sheepish. âAre you okay, dove? I can sleep on the couch if itâs too awkward-â
âNo, no! I apologize⌠I didnât intend to make you think something was wrong, Iâm just-â he sighed, looking away. âDo you think⌠would you be willing to hold onto me as I typically do you?â
You smiled at him softly, holding your arms out. Your lover smiled back at you and instantly settled down in your arms. He sighed in satisfaction as he felt your arms cage around him. As his body relaxedâand boy did it do so fastâa soft âoofâ left you. Kazuha immediately lifted his head. âIâm sorry, love. Did I startle you?â
You chuckled again. âNo, Kazâ. Just wasnât expecting it.â You gently rubbed soothing circles on his back, and you felt all of his worries melt away.
Things were going well. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. You felt yourself growing tired, but you were soon interrupted by Kazuha reaching up to itch his nose. âMâsorry,â he murmured.
âNo need to apologize, my dearâŚâ you gently kissed the top of his head.
More peaceful minutes passed until his leg randomly spasmed, causing you to startle again. âI-Iâm sor-â
âKazuha, honey,â you soothed, âitâs okay. You donât need to keep apologizing for things you canât control.â
âOkay, Iâm so-â
You gently poked his side to state your point. He startled with a small squeak. Afterward, you gently ran your fingers through his hair, removing it from the ponytail and untangling it. He hummed in satisfaction, relaxing into your arms once more and closing his eyes.
It was a wonderful experience. Your lover finally passed out in your arms and slept for a good hour. As you eventually felt yourself growing more tired, you were startled awake when Kazuha shook violently in your arms with a gasp. He woke up panting, throwing his arms around your neck.
You sat up immediately, coddling him. Your hand returned to his back as you whispered in his ear. âItâs okay, love⌠Iâm right here⌠Iâm hereâŚâ
He trembled in your arms, holding you impossibly closer. âIâm sorry. Iâm so sorry,â he repeated, his voice shaking.
âHey, hey⌠sweetheart itâs nothing to apologize about. Iâve got you,â you gently hummed, kissing the top of his head. âIâm right here.â
âThese nightmares still plague me⌠Iâm so sorry (Y/N)⌠I mustâve frightened you.â
âIâm okay, love,â you reassured him.
Kazuha hesitantly settled back in your arms, feeling utterly blissful from the gentle rubbing on his back. He slumped down against you once more, sighing gently as his breaths gently puffed against your neck.
After a while, you both were absolutely exhausted. Kazuha was the one who was still awake as you finally drifted off to sleep. He lay peacefully, listening to your heartbeat slow and slow.
As he was about to fall asleep⌠his tummy growled loudly, waking you immediately.
âIâm sorryâŚâ
Diluc: The Furnace
You smiled as you felt Dilucâs strong arms cage around you. His hand immediately found refuge in your hair, gently scratching your scalp and sending chills down your spine.
He continued his actions for a while, and you seemed to in a blissful daze. Little hums of satisfaction left you as well as tiny gasps every so often. Your lover merely grinned, taking solace in knowing he was making you feel relaxed.
You were close to falling asleep when you suddenly felt extremely warm. You start gently panting as you swallow a few times.
âLove? Are you alright?â He asked you in a concerned voice, sitting up.
âYes, of course,â you hummed in response. You reach over him onto the night stand, grabbing the water he always kept there and positively chugging it. âI think I was just a bit thirsty.â
Diluc chuckled as you lay back down. His hand found itself rubbing gentle circles on your back, the warmth traveling from your shoulders down to your hips. It was soothing, and his hand was wonderfully warm.
After a while, he got the idea to press his hand against your bare skin, having snaked it under the large shirt he had given you.
You shivered from the sudden change in temperature, but Diluc continued anyways. He looked down on you lovingly as he saw you relaxing in his hold.
Your lover let his head fall back against the pillow, and he gently closed his eyes. He was near falling asleep when he felt you peel yourself away to grab more of the water.
â(Y/N)?â
You sigh between gulps of water, almost like a toddler drinking some after being outside all day. You put the cup down with a sigh before slumping back on him. âArchons, I must just be dehydrated. Nothing more,â you quickly reassured him.
You settled back into his arms, exhaling as you felt heat engulf your body again. You narrow your eyes in confusion and annoyance.
What could be wrong?
You were watered, fed, and calm. What could possibly be-
As Dilucâs arms wrapped around you, pulling you impossibly closer, it dawned on you: Diluc ran warm.
You tried to ignore it, but the temperature continued to overwhelm you. You gently pushed away from your lover, hoping to get a second of relief from the blistering heat.
Your boyfriend opened his eyes and frowned, noticing your movements. âDarling?â His voice was laced with concerned as his palm traveled up and down your torso. âYouâre drenched in sweat, is everything okay?â
You closed your eyes and exhaled. âJust peachy.â
âAre you sure?â
You sighed. âYouâre very warm.â
He chuckled, allowing you to crawl out of his arms. When you settled down to his right, his left came out to interlock your pinkies.
Despite just being denied the gift of cuddling you in his arms, Diluc still insisted for you two to be touchingâŚ

Dangerous Collection
Genshin Impact - Childe x Diluc
[500 Followers Milestone Event - "Tools/Toys"]
A/N: Sooo, i got this 2 requests with ChilLuc for the event and decided to focus on the first one, but I added some bits of prompt into it, heheh
Summary: Childe is giving Diluc a tour through his house and decides to show his collection of weapons, but one particular object catches the couple's attention.
Word count: 1641 words
This wasnât the first time Diluc visited a wealthy home, but, still, this was at a totally different level from whatever the nobles at Mondstat were up to. Tartaglia - or âChildeâ, as he would present himself - would constantly tell him to not worry about the bill or the price of some gift whenever they hung out, so the redheaded assumed he was, well, rich.
Rich was an understatement.
âI hope you donât think I'm trying to make it up for something else,â Childe said cockly, feeling his ego being fed by Dilucâs expressions of awe and surprise whenever they walked into a new room of his stupidly huge house.
The other man sighed, trying to ignore the second meaning hidden in those words. Shaking his head, he gave the ginger a slight smile. âThe only thing Iâm thinking about is if you ever feel lonely at a place this big,â he teased as he continued to walk, admiring the rather luxurious furniture.
âNah,â Childe scoffed, following his partner around, âThere are some people that help me take care of it and⌠youâve been coming over more often, I donât get lonely at all ~â Childe mused, catching Diluc off guard with a sudden hug from behind. The ginger rested his chin on the otherâs shoulder, amusing himself as he watched Diluc shiver and his cheeks turn into a faint pink.
Before the silence completely surrounded them, Childe clicked his tongue, letting go of the other man and taking a few steps ahead. âWait, there is one more room I want to show you,â the enthusiasm in his voice was clear as he reached out for Dilucâs hand with a smile on his face.
Being nearly dragged across the stupidly large hallway, Diluc tried to keep up with the fatuiâs pace, âc-canât you slow down a little?â He chuckled, following the man around his house.Â
A couple steps ahead, the ginger stopped in front of some kind of fancy door. It seemed a little heavier than the others in the house and, when Diluc looked at the lock, it was sturdier and thicker as well.
âTartaglia,â Diluc muttered, staring at the door knob and feeling the ominous aura that seemed to come from behind that door.
âYes?â
âWhatâs in there?â
Childe smirked, placing his hand on the knob and looking over his shoulder. âNothing much⌠just my collection ~â And with a move of his wrist, he pushed the door open. âLadies and handsome men first,â he muttered as Diluc walked by, making the redhead roll his eyes.
Inside the room, different shelves, racks and stands held⌠weapons. Thousands - maybe more - of them. Bows, spears, swords, knives - all kinds of deadly devices displayed in some kind of exposition.
âI-is this your collection? Weapons?â Diluc said, taking some slow steps deep inside the room. âThere is probably enough weaponry here to start a war, Tartaglia,â he continued, turning back to the man standing on the door.
The ginger smiled, gently caressing the sharp edge of a spear that was near him. âMost of those are dull already. As I said, itâs just my collection, not my personal arsenal,â he smiled, noticing how the others continued to look around.
Diluc was no expert, but he could tell how some of those were way older than they looked - especially some old editions of the Knights of Favoniusâs weapons. Rich people were really⌠eccentric, he thought.Â
While letting his eyes wander over the weapons displayed nearby, Diluc found one in particular that caught his attention.
âTartaglia,â he called, looking back to the ginger, who quickly sprinted over him.
âYes?â
âWhatâs⌠that weapon for?â The redhead pointed out towards one of the shelves, directly towards a feather duster. The harbinger blinked a few times, looking to his partner before looking back at the object. Was he for real? Or was he just fooling around? He knew Diluc could be a little dense sometimes, but thatâŚ
One of the servants that worked on the house mustâve left that after cleaning the room, which was a reasonable excuse, but to mistake it for some kind of weapon? Tartaglia let out an audible chuckle, amused by the otherâs obliviousness. âDonât you recognize it, âLuc?â
The comment made his cheek turn into a shade of red clone to the one of his hair, crossing his arms in annoyance and looking away. âI-it looks just like a duster to me, but you have all the kind of stuff in here soâŚâ
Childe rolled his eyes. Well, he was not that dense, after all, but there was still some room to mess with him. The ginger walked over the shelf, picking up the feather duster. âSo you really donât know it,â he muttered, turning back to Diluc as he used the wand part to lightly tap on his hand. âThis is one of the most dangerous weapons I have in here.â
The seriousness in his voice made Diluc shiver. Childe didnât seem to be kidding about it, and that only made him even more curious about that âweaponâ. It looked so harmless, just like any other duster, maybe it was some kind of disguise to its actual power?
Childeâs smile grew wider when the other seemed to take the bait. So innocent⌠âWant me to show you how it works?âÂ
âR-right now?â Diluc gasped, snapping back from his trance, âbut isnât it dangerous?â
âDid you forget who I am? There is no weapon in Teyvat that I didnât mast-â
âExcept bows.â
Childeâs eyebrow twitched, letting out a disappointed sigh while Diluc let out a small laugh at him. âFine, almost no weapon in Teyvat that I didnât master. So, do you want me to show it to you or not?â
âHmm,â Diluc pretended to wonder, trying to make some suspense. He knew how much Childe loved to show himself out and brag about his combat skills - which seemed to be the case this time - so it was a simple matter if he was going to entertain him or not. âI donât kno-â
âOh please, donât be a killjoy, will you?â
Diluc chuckled, smiling while Childe pouted at his teasing. âVery well⌠show me how it works, then.â
His eyes sparkled as the redhead finally said the words he wanted to hear. Barely able to hold the mischievous intentions inside any longer. Quickly wrapping his arm around Dilucâs chest, the ginger pulled him closer in a swift move, making the redhead gasp in surprise.
âW-what are you doing?â He tried to protest as Childe held his wrists together with one hand, attempting to squirm off the otherâs grip with no avail.
âDidnât you ask for a demonstration, hm?â The other said cockly, using his free hand to slowly rail Dilucâs shirt up, exposing his bare midriff. With a half confused, half embarrassed look, the redhead tried to understand what all that was about. âLet me show how deadly this âweaponâ can be, âLucâ
âW-wait- ahah! T-Tahahartaglia!â Diluc gasped, pressing his eyes shut as the first giggles burst through his lips. With his free hand, Childe used the feather duster to gently caress Dilucâs exposed skin, covering those sensitive spots with the ticklish and gentle touch.
Keeping the redhead firmly in place and his hands out of the way, Childe chuckled along, alternating between quick strokes and slow traces, letting the feathers do their job and amusing himself with Dilucâs laughter. âIsnât it great? Some may call it a merciless tool, but I find it to be such an amazing weaponâŚâ He talked into the otherâs ear, letting his breath tease his sensitive ear, finding adorable the way Diluc tried to scrunch up his shoulders to protect himself.
He should have predicted something like this, it hurt his pride to think he let himself fall for such a stupid explanation. Of course it was just a feather duster, not some kind of ancient weapon. âE-ehehenough nohohonsense!â
âNonsense? Is that what you have to say about my collection, âLuc? Iâm offendedâŚâ Childe mused, pulling his partner into an even tighter hug as he nuzzled against his cheek, showering him with brief kisses as the feathers were making him laugh his head off. âIf you apologize⌠Maybe I can show you some mercy, what do you say?âÂ
âF-fihihine!â Diluc gasped when the feathers trailed over his stomach, trying to suck it in to avoid the soft caresses. âIâm sohohorry!â
âFor what?â
âF-fohohor- agh, stahahAhahap!â He shook his head, his knees wanting to give him and drop his body to the floor, but Childe was putting up some effort in keeping him in place, leaving him no room to run to. âF-for cahahalling it nohohonsenseheh!â
âHmmm⌠and what do you have to say about my weapon? ~â Childe continued, not wanting to spoil the fun just yet.
âT-Tartahahglia! Plehehease!â Diluc cried, throwing his head back in a fit of laughter as the ginger used the feathers on his side.
âCome on,â the other replied, grinning as he kissed Dilucâs cheek again before slowly sliding his lips close to his ear. âYou can give it at least one compliment, right? You can do it⌠or are you that ticklish, âLuc?â
Those words sent a shiver down the redheadâs back. His cheeks burned in a bright shade of red - an adorable one, if you asked Childe - and he had no option but to submit. âN-nohohoh! I-itâs great! Ahaha, okahahay?!â
âAlright, alright⌠Iâll let you slide off this one easily,â Childe said, lowering the feathers, but keeping Dilucâs wrists held together.Â
âA-ahah⌠a-arenât you going to l-let me go?âÂ
âSo soon, âLuc?â Childe grinned like a predator staring at his prey, leaning his face close to Dilucâs - close enough to feel the heat from his blushing cheeks - brushing his lips against his. âIâm not quite done with youâŚâ
âW-what do yo- aHAha, T-TartaHAHaglia!! NohOHOH!ââ

Hi! May I request a scenario of Childe and his s/o the morning after their first time?
Hi anon, of course you can! I've turned it into a reaction featuring multiple characters because this is really sweet
The morning after your first time with the Genshin Men
Summary: waking up next to your boyfriend after the first time you have sex together. Genre: fluff. Warnings: mentions of sex, nudity (m and f), mention of losing virginity, mature themes. Featuring: Childe, Diluc, Kaeya, Zhongli, Wriothesley
CHILDE

The sun shone through the window, the light waking you up. Childe grunted softly, "don't leave, comrade." You smiled softly, body still sore from last night. "I'm not going anywhere, Ajax." Tartaglia kissed your neck softly, pulling you close to him. "You should have told me you were a virgin," he said softly. You buried your head into his bare chest, "to have you go easy on me?"
Childe grinned, "to be fair, you can't win all the battles, my love." You smiled and rolled your eyes, "you wanna test that out, Mr. Harbinger?" Tartaglia chuckled loudly, "hm. What are you gonna say when I tell your friends you got ABSOLUTELY RAILED by the eleventh Fatui Harbinger?" You smacked him on his back, "I'd say he totally took advantage of an inexperienced girl. Then, Master Diluc has another reason to beat you up." And Childe gasped, placing his hand on his chest, "you would never!"
DILUC

It was a warm morning in Mondstadt. Diluc's hair was much longer than yours, and flowed under your body. It was ticklish behind the back of your bare neck. He moaned softly, eyes opening slowly. "M-morning,' he yawned, looking at you with his beautiful red, tired eyes. You giggled softly, "good morning, Master Diluc."
Diluc blushed, his cheeks were almost as red as his hair. "Good morning," he smiled, kissing your lips. "Will you marry me?" He murmured. Your jaw dropped open and you let out a loud laugh, "surely it was wasn't that good! It was my first time, after all." He grinned, kissing you again, "yes it was, but I also just want to wake up next to you every day." Before pulling you close for another kiss, bringing the blanket over the two of you.
KAEYA

"Hey, beautiful," Kaeya's raspy voice filled your ears, "did you sleep well?" You rolled over to face him, he had been spooning you before. You blushed, "very well, Sir Kaeya." He chuckled, tracing lines across your body, making you shiver, the touch both foreign and familiar. "Come on, honey, we're way past the formalities, aren't we? Or shall I still call you Traveller, hmm?"
You shook your head and he grinned, "I remember when we first met in Jean's office. You were so lost, and yet you still kept looking at me with an amazed face, like you were checking me out. From that moment on, I already knew I liked you. Thank the Archons that you came to me asking to teach you to swordfight properly, huh? Who knows if we would even interact privately if it weren't for that," he brushed away a loose strand of your hair. You shoved your head into his neck, "Archons! Don't remind me! I was so innocent and desperate back then!" Making Kaeya laugh loudly, kissing you and shaking his head. "My, my, look at you. Not so innocent anymore, hmm?"
ZHONGLI

Zhongli did not sleep that night. After you had sex and drifted off to sleep, he was still processing everything. He had never had sex before, and he could smell that you hadn't either. There was a certain purity in your scent that he did not smell in others. For some reason, even after mating with you for the first time, it was still there. The whole night, as you lay next to him, breathing puffy little breaths, he watched you sleep, promising himself that he would protect you until the end of time.
You were the only kind of treasure he ever truly loved.
Zhongli pretended to sleep as soon as he sensed you waking. There were still many secrets he had hidden from you, and he wished not to scare you away. Zhongli had always seen sex as something necessary, even though he had never had sex before. He always smelled lust on other humans, but with you, he'd only ever smelt purity, and now he knew sex was so much more. Your eyes fluttered open and you turned to him, "good morning," whispering the words. Zhongli smiled, "good morning, my Qingxing. Would you care for a cup of tea?"
WRIOTHESLEY

Wriothesley's voice was deep and husky, the sound waking you up. The bed was so warm, you didn't want to get up. Wriothesley smiled, blue eyes shining. "Good morning, beautiful. How do you feel?" You giggled softly, "so good, Mr. Duke," making him grin, rolling his eyes. "I had a really good time last night," you breathed softly. Wriothesley blushed, "I had a really good time last night too, my love."
You giggled again, looking into his eyes. "I'd marry you right now," he murmured, "if you'd let me," you blushed, "I'd marry you right now, too, Your Grace, but if I'm not correctly mistaken, I do believe that's the Chief Justice banging at your door." Wriothesley sighed, pulling you close and kissing him. "Stay for the week?" He murmured. You smiled, kissing him back, "I think I'll be staying for a while, Your Grace."
The pounding on the door got louder. "WRIOTHESLEY!" Yelled the Chief Justice, "I KNOW YOU'RE WITH THE TRAVELLER! OPEN UP NOW OR I SHALL SENTENCE YOU!" there was another loud bang, and a high-pitched voice shrieked outside the door, "PAIMON KNOWS YOU'RE IN THERE, YN!!! THE WHOLE FORTRESS COULD HEAR YOU!!!"

GENSHIN MEN & LETTING YOU TRACE THEIR SCARS.
characters. xiao zhongli diluc kaeya childe scara x gn!reader genre. romantic fluff. an. i love them ur honour :3 | please reblog!! im getting back into writing and reblogs with tags and comments will make me want to write more :D
xiao
it's a big deal â don't tease him, please treat him with care. xiao allowing you to see the marks of his past is not something he takes lightly ... you're special. he trusts you. the scars haven't healed yet and the scars will not heal. trace his back lightly and watch as he winces; please, hold him gently. perhaps for the first time in eons, something wet drips down xiao's face.
zhongli
zhongli lets you see his scars â it's not something he hides, but something he trophies as a reminder of his old life. he's not the old geo archon anymore, but he smiles while fondly regaling his tales of old, victorious battles. each scar tells a story â and with each scar you point at, he answers with a soft hint of bittersweetness, melancholy, and regret.
diluc
goes completely silent the minute you touch it. he's not mad â don't worry, but it's such a sacred part of himself that he reels when he realises that he's let someone in so much to this point. it'll take him a while to get used to it; please don't mix his confusion for anger. he loves you, even though it's hard for him to comprehend because your love is blinding.
kaeya
kaeya tries to shrug it off. it's not every day he feels that sour twinge of vulnerability inside â please stay calm, please don't make a big deal out of it â if he freezes, don't be taken aback. touching the fragments of his past is frightening, so treat him with the love and care as you would with a little animal. kaeya certainly feels like one, sometimes.
childe
his breath hitches â it's ticklish, but also... electrifying. no one has ever drawn stars around his scars before. it's exciting, even â to feel his triumphs in a carefully handled light. he's always shown it off loudly and proudly, but for his wounds to be treated delicately ... it's an unfamiliar feeling. but nothing is every truly unfamiliar when it comes to you.
scaramouche
he doesn't enjoy it at first. he grumbles, tching in annoyance â why is this necessary? you've seen it plenty of times. scara is taken aback by how quickly you withdraw your hand â scara's body is a temple, and you don't want to overstay your welcome after finally being let in. perhaps you're different, and perhaps... he likes the warmth of your touch.

The romantic things he does

I think everyone should have some love too between all the lust<3
Genre: fluff + NSFW
Pairs: All Genshin men (i write for) x FEM!reader
Warning: NSFW, eating out, penetration, overall lovely sex<3
Word count: 1429 words
Summary: Romantic things they do in the bedroom

Compliment you/praise you: Thoma, Kaveh, Kazuha, Venti, Albedo
Itâs the way he looks at you, it makes your heart melt while he makes love to you. The way he knows how to make you feel good and make you feel weak under him. The way his hands roam over your body, seeking more and more contact and the way his mouth speaks of such sweet words. Itâs always so perfect to you... âYouâre doing so good~â He says, showing you a soft smile before giving your lips another soft kiss.
Your heart skips a beat when you feel his lips on your neck again, giving you love bites here and there for everyone to see. He loves showing you off to others, he loves letting them know youâre his and despite how it can possibly make you or him shy in the process, itâs all worth it. You squirm and let out a loud moan when you feel his cock hitting your g-spot again, this position does seem to hit it easier than usual. His eyes lighten up, licking his lips before pressing a kiss on your cheek. âYouâre so gorgeous.. Youâre so good to me.â He speaks out, using one of his soft tones, reassuring you how good youâre doing once again.
Slowly you feel your climax coming, his slow trusts combined with his fingers rubbing your clit makes you feel so loved and cared for. All because heâs taking his time with you, showing you the love you deserve and you cant ask for more then that. âYou feel so good around me, I love you so much.â
Giving your body a lot of kisses/love bites: Itto, Kazuha, Kaveh, Heizou, Venti, Childe, Diluc, Thoma
Heâs so slow with you today, being sure to give your body the smooches it deserves. Your skin feels slightly ticklish when his warm breath hits your skin. Goosebumps starts to form on your body to which he chuckles slightly, he knows heâs doing a good job when youâre getting so wet from his simple kisses all over your body. But who wouldnât want their body to be worshipped? âYour stomach skin is so soft.â He tells you, touching your stomach with his fingers before laying yet another kiss on it. Youâre feeling exposed below your boyfriend, but you know youâre safe in his arms. Your cheeks flush a darker shade when you feel his kisses trail down to your legs. âThese also deserve love, donât they?â You hear him chuckle once again before you feel his lips continue to kiss your skin and paint your blank canvas with small love bites.
He kisses all your perfections and imperfections, all your smooth skin and all your blemishes. Itâs simply because he loves it all and he loves you. To him, your imperfections are perfect as well and heâs always sure to tell you that every single time. âY/N... Youâre so wet~ Is it just because Iâm giving your body kisses and love bites?â You feel your cheeks warm up and of course he notices that too.
âDonât worry, Iâm just glad youâre enjoying this as much as I am. You deserve to be kissed everywhere.â
Aftercare no matter what: Kazuha, Kaveh, Itto, Scaramouche/wanderer, Heizou, Xiao, tighnari
Despite how rough he can be sometimes, he seems to know pretty damn well how to take care of you afterwards. Even if there are nights when itâs just pure lust, heâs sure to end it with taking care of you and your body. He gives you cuddles and a kiss afterwards to reassure you he still loves and cares about you, that lust isnât all he feels for you. It always seems to make you warm inside, knowing he will stay despite how rough he might have been in the bedroom.
You watch how he leaves the bedroom only to come back later with a clean wet cloth to help clean you up as well. Yes, heâs sometimes rather rough and yes, he also sometimes forgets how to end a night properly when heâs extremely tired. But despite all of that, he always finds some type of way to end the night with love and not lust. You sit up slowly, groaning once you feel your muscles hurt from the intense climaxes you experienced. âLie down, Iâll help you clean up.â You raise your eyebrow once he told you to lie back down, but you lie down as he told you to do. âYou know I can wash up myself right? Itâs okay, itâs just a little muscle pain, nothing I canât handle.â
You hear him chuckle softly and feel the wet cloth touching your body, wiping off the sweat and drops of cum he spilled on your body. âItâs not that I donât think you can handle it yourself but I was pretty rough so let me just do this okay? Stop questioning it and just enjoy.â
You are left speechless for a hot minute before finally replying back: âThank you..â
âDonât mention it.â
Focussing on you first(1 or multiple rounds): Kazuha, Zhongli, Diluc, Thoma, Xiao, Cyno
This sweetheart always seems to find pleasure and enjoyment in simply making you feel good first. However romantic or lustful the night is, he always wants to start with you first and make you feel good first. Whether he makes you feel good first with his fingers, his lips or his tongue, he simply doesnât care as long as you feel good.
You feel his tongue flick your clit gently, making you mewl. Your hand reaches forward and your fingers tangle themselves in his hair, pulling softly when he flicks his tongue yet again. âDo you want me to do more?â He says with a teasing tone. You canât help but nod and tuck on his hair a little harder. âPlease.. yes.â
Before you can say another word, his lips wrap gently around your clit and he starts to suck on it. His fingers teasingly massage your entrance, pushing only the tip of his middle finger in every once in a while. Your moans fill the room, your toes curling every time his tongue flicks your clit again and again, it just feels so good. Once he notices your mewling and moaning getting louder only then does he push one of his fingers in. Your other hand grabs onto the bedsheets, toes curling once again when you feel your climax getting closer and closer. He adds another digit inside, moving them in and out slowly and curling them almost perfectly to hit your g-spot over and over again.
Your mouth agape, your climax building up even more while the moans leave your throat and lips more dry. Eventually your grip on his hair tightens, your cunt clenching around his 2 digits before you cum on them. He lets you finish your orgasm before slowly removing his lips from your clit and his fingers from your entrance. âDid that feel good? Weâre not done yet though, I hope you still have energy left for more~â
Romantically sets up candles & other romantic things as a surprise: Kazuha, Gorou, Albedo, Xiao, Tighnari
It doesnât happen all the time but when it does happen you always feel so extremely thankful. The way you come to the bedroom and find the room filled with cute lit up candles and flower petals covering the floor and the bed, always ends up as a surprise to you. Itâs a romantic surprise you will never reject. Your boyfriend also enters the room looking slightly nervous. Itâs not that heâs nervous because you might not like it, heâs nervous because it might be a wrong time to have done this for you. Yet the moment he sees your smile show up brightly on your face, he knew he did good. âYou did this for me? Why even?â You ask him. You clearly hear the surprise and happiness in the tone of your voice.
âI donât know.. I wanted to surprise you once and thought today was the perfect day to do this for you.â
You feel your cheeks hurt from smiling so much. He really went out of his way to give you such a romantic surprise and you canât be more thankful. âThis is lovely,, You didnât have to do this but thank you so much. Itâs beautiful.â
âIâm so glad.â He wasnât sure how to take the first step now after surprising you like this. All he could think about was kissing you but how should he? Yet when he turns around heâs already met with your sweet lips on his own. His hands hold your waist while he kisses you back, enjoying the excitement you show through your kissing. I guess his surprise was a success!
Thank you for reading! <3
Much love,
Angel

: ticklish s/o !
based on this ask !
featuring : cyno, diluc, kazuha
cw : fluff, kinda ooc, not proofread
a/n : did i. just get a request. đ¨đ¨đ¨ (im so sorry if it's not what u expected) btw i kinda change it to just the s/o being ticklish because i cannot write the same scenario over and over again, so i'm really sorry đŠđ anon! :<
CYNO :
whenever cyno came home from work, you always offered to give him massages. you might think that cyno doesn't think much about it, but he actually appreciates it very much. that's why today, cyno decided to give you massages instead to relief your stress.
"i'm home." he opens the door to your home and greets you as usual. when you notice him at the door, you smiled at him and greet him back. you were about to told him to sit down on the chairs in the living room, but he told you to sit instead. "what? why?" you ask, but he didn't answer. so you do as he said.
he brings his hands up to your shoulders and start massaging you. it started very well, but then he hit a spot that is way too close to your neck, and you giggled. "what? are you making fun of my ability to massage people?" he sounds offended, which makes you laugh harder. "no-i'm not making fun of you hehe." you answered, but you're still giggling to yourself. cyno continued to massage you and you still won't stop giggling. "stop making fun of me, you're supposed to appreciate this."
"i am, i am appreciating this." but you still won't stop laughing, and that's when cyno came to a conclusion.
cyno stops his movement for a while, then chuckles. "oh? i didn't know you're ticklish." he smirked at you. you denied all of his teasings and you thought he would just pay no mind to it. but after knowing that fact, he won't stop tickling you no matter how many times you told him to stop. "you should've told me that you were ticklish sooner."
"it's pretty funny to tickle you from behind whenever you're busy doing something."
DILUC :
you're cooking breakfast for both you and diluc. well, adelinde already told you that you should rest in your bedroom with diluc and let her take care of both of your breakfast. but you insisted on cooking, so she let you do so. "good morning." you heard the voice of diluc approaching you. you greet him back and continued cooking. he walked by you and opened the cabinet.
that's when he accidentally bumped his hand to your sides, and you let out a giggle. "..what?" he asked out of confusion. you shaked your head, "no..it's nothing." diluc ignored your giggle from earlier and took a mug from the cabinet to drink. then, he accidentally bumped his hand again. and you giggled, again. "why are you laughing at me?"
"i'm so sorry, it's just that you keep bumping your hand at me and i feel pretty ticklish. so i can't help it." he paused for a moment after hearing your confession, then poke your side once again. "pfftâstop that. i'm cooking you know!" you pout at him, but it just amuses him even more. "i know that you're cooking. but i just can't help it, my love."
KAZUHA :
kazuha probably found out when you both are hanging out in inazuma. the sun is high up in the sky, and it made you sweat a lot. so kazuha told you to sit down on a rock under the tree with him to relax and enjoy the scenery. you couldn't relax though, because kazuha is leaning against your shoulder and his hair is brushing against your neck. and, being a ticklish person, this position is very unfortunate for you.
"what's wrong, sweetheart?" he sat back up and looked at you lovingly. you let out a sigh of relief as you didn't have to hold in your laughter anymore. "uh, it's just that your hair is brushing against my neck.." you look at him, and he looks at you. he didn't answer and only blinked a few times before chuckling.
"i'm sorry. didn't know you're ticklish." he smiled at you. you thought that the conversation had ended there and you both will continue exploring inazuma. but now, kazuha won't stop poking you at your sides. "stop itâpfft" you want to do the same to him but you know he isn't ticklish. "i'm so sad that my partner was hiding such a cute fact about themself from me."

Cyno tickle fic (ler! Reader x lee! Cyno)

WARNING! English is not my native language, sorry for possible mistakes. "Aaand⌠Diluc uses his ultimate and deals six points of damage!" With a satisfied smile, you swiped the last Cyno's card off the desk. He looked with surprise. "It can't be true⌠I was so close to winning⌠Just one move..." After a short silence, he continued: "Well⌠It was a worthy battle. I didn't expect you to beat me". You smiled: "You have a strong deck, but it looks like I was more lucky this time". "That's true..." The guy agreed, "And what reward would you like to have?" There was an awkward silence. Cyno reached into his bag in search of his wallet. When he found it, he sighed. "It looks like I really don't have any mora now.⌠There are a few coins left, but I need them for the way back". You stared at Cyno in silence. There was a note of embarrassment in your gaze. The guy noticed it. "Tell me already what is on your mind", he sighed. "Give me your foot," you said suddenly, lowering your eyes. "Foot?", he asked in surprise, "Why do you need it?" "I want to check something out," you replied, looking away in embarrassment. The young man shrugged, lifted his right foot and put it on the table. Blushing slightly, you grabbed the ankle and started slowly and hesitantly running your fingers over his bare foot. Cyno immediately shuddered and started twitching his foot. "Hahahay," he said in a surprised but slightly confused voice, "what are you doing?" "Satisfying my curiosity", you smiled awkwardly. You started moving your fingers faster. The young man squirmed harder, reflexively trying to avoid the tickling. Breathing deeply, he tried his best to hold back the laughter. Smiling, you scratched the middle of Cyno's sole. The guy closed his eyes and clenched his teeth, struggling to resist the reflex urges. His reaction was expectable. He was the General Mahamatra, after all, a real warrior. That meant he was really good at controlling himself. But you didn't want to give up so soon. Suddenly you attacked his toes, and the guy couldn't help but started giggling. "Hahahaha! Hehehe! Enough! Hahaha!" "What happened? Can't keep a straight face anymore?", you teased. "Mhehehe! Hahahaha! Stohop ihihit! Pleahehese!" It seemed like you'd managed to throw Cyno off balance after all. "Okay, that's enough for you," you said mischievously and finally let go of his leg. Cyno immediately hid it back under the table. "What a nonsense", the guy said awkwardly, "did you really wonder if I am ticklish?" You smiled significantly. "You held up well. It even seemed to me that you're not ticklish⌠However⌠Everyone has their weaknesses". The young man looked away, slightly embarrassed.

A Stormy Day At The Winery
Note: This is not a ship ( Kaeluc shippers DNI )
Angst/Comfort
Tw: Mention of death and there are some cheer up tickles in this.
So if you donât like either donât read
Hope you enjoy!
It was a stormy day in Mondstadt, and much to the brothers' dismay, they were stuck inside with one another at the Dawn Winery. What was supposedly Kaeyaâs short visit to ask Diluc about the recent appearances of the âDark-night Heroâ seen back in town turned into something more. Kaeya wanted to know everything about why his brother was doing it again. After all, it had been a while without any attacks on the town from the Abyss Mages and Hilichurls for it to reoccur once again. Kaeya wanted to team up with Diluc and get to the bottom of the issue like last time. However, Diluc didnât seem keen on the idea of using his younger brotherâs aid for something he could easily deal with on his own.
What they hoped would be a short discussion turned into multiple hours before dealing with Kaeya, which extended into the next day. The thunder was the only sound between the two brothers as they sat near the fireplace until Kaeya finally spoke up.
âWhy do you believe youâre the only one who lost someone the day Father died?â
Diluc looked irritated but stayed quiet, not wanting to engage in a conversation that would lead to a pointless argument. But Kaeya continued to speak.
âI had lost Father, but I also lost someone elseâmy older brother. I want him back!â
Kaeya got up, walked over to Diluc, and grabbed him by the collar flaps of his coat as tears welled in his eyes. âSo pleaseâŚbring my older brother back.â
Diluc stood there, the irritation on his face transforming into guilt and sadness as Kaeya clung to him in tears. It was dead quiet, aside from Kaeyaâs sniffles, until Diluc finally spoke up, his hand hesitantly resting on Kaeyaâs back, his mind racing to consider what to do. Out of every possibility that could have happened tonight, this was one he hadnât even thought about.
âIâm sorry.â
Diluc started to rub Kaeyaâs back in an attempt to comfort him, but when his fingers barely touched where Kaeyaâs ribs were, he felt his younger brother jolt and pull away with a yip, making Diluc worry if he had hurt him.
âAre you okay? Did I touch an injury?â
Kaeya shook his head no, wiping his tears away, his cheeks painted pink with embarrassment. He needed to find an excuse for his reaction without making Diluc worry further.
âNo, you didnât. I justâŚdidnât expect it.â
Diluc raised a brow in curiosity, easily catching Kaeyaâs lie as he put two and two together.
âReally, are you sure? Maybe I should check. You know, injuries can get bad if they aren't acknowledged.â
Kaeya started to step back, his face completely flushed with embarrassment. His mind raced to figure out a way out of the situation. Much to his dismay, Diluc stepped closer to Kaeya, resting his hand on his shoulder, a mischievous expression plastered on his face.
âDiluc, I swear Iâm fi-hihine! It was- nohohoho!â
Kaeya practically screeched with laughter as Dilucâs fingers quickly started to spider and skitter on his ribs, making Kaeya wriggle and squirm in a half-hearted attempt to escape.
âYouâre still very ticklish, Kaeya! How have you not grown out of such a childish thing?â
Diluc teased as his fingers climbed to Kaeyaâs armpits, making him squeal and snort. âBr-brohohohther! Stohohohop ihihit! Ahahaha!â
Kaeya had tears of laughter down his cheeks as he shoved his way out of Dilucâs hold, causing him to hit the floor.
âOww-heheh! That was uncalled for. Diluc, I should get you back for that!â
Diluc huffed a half chuckle and rolled his eyes as he helped Kaeya off the floor and onto the couch.
âCanât have the Cavalry Captain crying on me now, can I?â
Kaeya chuckled before hugging Diluc. âThanks, I needed that.â

Squealing Santa 2023 Genshin Impact - Kaeya & Diluc
A/N: Merry Christmas, Mango-anon! That's right, I'm your @squealing-santa this year!
Heheh, isn't it funny that we changed the roles? After getting a gift from you in last year's SS, I tried to come up with something just as special - hopefully I made it up to your expectations!
Also, I couldn't find any canon info about the characters' height, so let's just go along with this one, yeah?
I just want to wish you a happy holiday season and thank @hypahticklish for hosting the event again!
Summary: When you are decorating the place, 2 cm can make a lot of difference.
Word count: 1338 words
âI think I remember this one, brother,â Kaeya chirped happily as he gently pulled another decoration from inside that old chest. Pinching the string that was attached to the toy to hold it up to his line of sight, Kaeya admired the golden, star-shaped object as it brought him some old memories from his childhood. âHah, last time I saw this one, we still-â
âCare to do something other than reminiscing?â Diluc interrupted, with a frown on his face. Letting out an audible grunt, the redheaded dropped another box on top of the counter - also full of decorations.
By the end of the year, the people of Mondstadt had the tradition of decorating their houses to celebrate the arrival of winter and to cherish the moments they had together throughout that year. At least, most of the people did it.
Diluc wasnât sure when it was the last time he had bothered to do something like this. He was even more clueless about why he decided to do it this time. Maybe his change of heart had something to do with the traveler or the latest events? Maybe after spending so much time with that spoiled bard was, at last, affecting him? Maybe was he sick? Diluc didnât know - and did it really matter at this point? He looked to the side, spotting Kaeyaâs smug, amused glance at him. Diluc rolled his eyes.
âMy, of course, brother. I just couldnât help myself⌠All the sweet memories coming back to my mind,â Kaeya mused poetically - mostly to annoy his brother even further. âIâm sure the winery will look just as lovely when we are done decorating it.â
Kaeya quickly got back to his feet, starting to hang a few garlands near the entrance, adding the ones that resembled small berries and snow flakes to enhance the composition even further. The captain smiled, proud of his work. âWhat do you think, Diluc?â Kaeya sighed proudly, placing his hands over his hips as he admired the results of his efforts.
However, as more seconds passed by and there was no sign of answers from his dear brother, Kaeya repeated himself, this time also looking back. âDiluc? What do you⌠thinkâŚâ
âJust- agh, just a second,â Diluc grunted, gritting his teeth and stretching his arm as high as he could. Standing on the tip of his toes and leaning against the shelves, Diluc tried to place a bright, golden star on top of a tree - a spot that was clearly out of his reach.
Kaeya scoffed quietly, surprised that his brother would find such difficulties in such a simple task. âDo you need a hand? I could lift you if you want-â
âShut it,â Diluc groaned, planting his heels back into the ground - and if looks could kill, Kaeya wouldâve been sent to Celestia right at that moment. Diluc, already having his patience running short, looked at Kaeyaâs work.
His eyes, despite all the charming decorations, focused on a garland that hung right in the middle of the composition. Diluc did the math inside his head and that thing was standing almost as high as the tip of the tree and, with no stairs or chairs around, it seemed that Kaeya managed to reach that spot effortlessly. Diluc felt that sight leaving a scratch on his ego. âYeah, itâs decent I think,â Diluc huffed.
âDecent? Well, itâs still a compliment from you, I suppose, so Iâll assume I did a good job,â Kaeya crossed his arms, with a smug look on his face. The captain looked around and, after a few hours of work, they were almost done with the wineryâs decoration: all that was left was the golden star in Dilucâs hand. âLet me finish that for you, brother.â
âWhat?â Diluc arched his eyebrow, turning his attention back to Kaeya.
âI said: let me finish that for you,â Kaeya repeated while approaching Diluc, reaching out his hand, waiting for the star to be handed to him.
âThere is no need, I can do it myself,â Diluc narrowed his eyes and Kaeya chuckled. âWhatâs so funny?â The wineryâs master muttered, getting back on the tip of his toes as he tried to reach the top of the tree.
âHow tall are you?â
âW-what?â Diluc gasped, feeling a faint heat taking place in his hands. âWhatâs with this all of the sudden?â The reddish tones began to take a brighter shade around the tip of Dilucâs ears, almost matching his hairtone.
âJust curiosity,â Kaeya giggled, standing by Dilucâs side. Kaeya placed a hand over the top of his own head and moved it, hovering it just a couple of centimeters above Dilucâs. âOh, Iâm taller, indeed. I never noticed you were the smaller oneâŚâ
âS-so?â Diluc sighed annoyed, getting even angrier when he saw the way Kaeya looked at him. âItâs just⌠what? 2 centimeters? Itâs not that much of a difference, it might even be thanks to the heels of your boots.â
âWell, brother, you see, 2 centimeters can make a lot of difference,â Kaeya teased, looking up to the tip of the tree. âCome on, let me help you ~â
âI donât need your help,â Diluc insisted, determined to shut his brother by placing that damned star on top of the tree.
âSuit yourself.â
Kaeya watched carefully as Diluc tried to reach that spot again, holding the golden star with the tip of his fingers, barely keeping a hold on it. Almost there⌠so closeâŚÂ
âG-gah!â Diluc squeaked when he felt a pair of hands holding him by his waist. He felt another electric shock spread across his body when fingers dug into the spot - with just enough pressure so they could get a grip on his body.
âQ-quit squirming, youâre kind of heavy, you know?â Kaeya grunted, nearly getting hit by a flailing limb. With some effort, Kaeya managed to lift Diluc, getting him high enough so he could reach the top of the tree. âHurry up..!â
âI- agh, aham tr-tryihihing!â Diluc choked on a laugh, struggling to reach out and place the star when all the nerves on his body were telling him to press his arms down his body. His brother being Kaeya, Diluc couldnât be sure if that⌠feeling was a mere accident or something planned. âS-stohop squeehezing me lihihike t-that, you- ahah- ack!!â
âH-hoh?â Kaeya gasped, still managing to pull a tease in a situation like this. Dilucâs squirming was making it harder to keep him high up, but Kaeya would rather have them both falling to the ground than lose a chance to provoke Diluc like this. âH-how can you be⌠heh, this ticklish being this⌠short?â
âIâm nohot!â Diluc groaned, hitting Kaeyaâs leg with his heel (mostly because of how his leg flailed than because he wanted to).Â
âYouâre not what? Short or ticklish? Because it looks like youâre bothâ Kaeya squeezed Dilucâs waist again and a strangled laugh escaped his brotherâs lips. Kaeya smirked. âJ-just put the star over there, my arms are getting tired.â
âIf you- ahah, f-fine!â Diluc groaned in defeat, grabbing the tree with one hand and pulling it closer. Finding it more difficult than it should be, at last, Diluc managed to place the golden star in place, quickly tapping his brotherâs hand. âD-done! Put me down! Puhuhut me down!â
âAs you wish, brother,â Kaeya said, lowering his brother back down until he could place his feet on the ground - safe and sound. âSee? It wasnât that hard, was it?â
Diluc breathed deeply, telling himself mentally this wasnât the time to call Kaeya names and deciding that, just this once, he would let it slide⌠that, of course, under one condition. âOne word about itâŚ,â he threatened Kaeya - so brotherly-like of him.
âHuh? Or what?â Kaeya provoked him again, poking Dilucâs side and making him jerk away with a sharp gasp. âCome on, asking your big brother for help itâs nothing to be ashamed ofâŚâ
âKaeya, no.â Diluc warned, wrapping his arms around his torso, âIâm serious. Kaeya, nohOHOH!! KahAHAHayea!â

iâve always had this idea that diluc is super ticklish. just sometimes about him being ticklish is so funny to me. like youâre having a serious yet romantic moment with him. youâre seated on his lap, chest pressed against each other and you go in to trail kisses down his face and jawline down to his neck. but as youâre doing so, you hear him let out a rather choked sigh. you think itâs turning him on and continue to sensually lick and bite at the tender skin before diluc grips your shoulder. you remove your mouth from his neck being oh so confused why heâs acting so jittery. your eyes turn up to his but before you can even get a word out, you notice his holding back a smile albeit very poorly.
being a bit frustrated why he feels the need fo laugh while youâre in such a close position to him. he apologizes a few times, holding his hand over his mouth quickly as to hide his growing smile. you shake it off and go back down, continuing attempt to suck pretty marks into dilucs skin. but with each flick of your tongue, diluc shutters and lets out struggled gasps. youâre worried why heâs acting so strange when his usual calm, or grumpy, demeanor is now gone. âdiluc please stay still, i get the feeling something is bothering youâ you pout at him. diluc feels the guilt as he tries to hide his emotions yet again.
âi apologize i just didnât think iâd still be this-â he cuts himself up abruptly causing a low silence to fall over both of you.
âso what?â,
you ask him in return for not finishing his reply.
ânothing, please continueâ
it doesnât take more than a few seconds to understand whyâs he acting so strange.
âare youâticklish?â
he feels embarrassment fall over himself upon hearing your question. he doesnât reply, even looking away with a hint of blush on his pale cheeks. you smirk to yourself knowing youâre right and reach your hands to his stomach, gently digging your fingertips into his firm tummy and watching his stoic features break and turn into a roaring of laughing and inhaling. heâs trying so hard to suppress it too, still covering his mouth with his hand. his body twitching and closing in on your touch. youâre even laughing with him as youâre tickling continues. âstopâp-please stop!â heâs hiccuping out in a bit of deep breaths; body struggling against itself in his seat.
oh much more could you get out of him? diluc did his best to hold your hands away from his now sore stomach. all the laughing sure got him out of breath, even as far as to make his stomach sore! and even after youâre still snickering at how ticklish the usually calm, stoic, apathetic, diluc truly is.
âi thought i told you to quitâ diluc huffed out in a slightly angry tone. you would usually coware if he spoke in a tone like that but you didnât, still slightly giggling from how cute your little ticklish fight went.
âi know diluc but youâre laugh is too cute i couldnât resist to keep going!â
heâs frowning but you can see the blatant blush on his cheeks.
âhahâŚjustâdonât do that again, please?â
âyouâre no funâŚâ

the art of touching.
diluc x reader. wc; 6k. tags; friends to enemies, enemies to lovers, slow burn, angst and hurt/comfort, blood and injury, reconciliation, when your love language is being annoying asf. epilogue; part 1. read on ao3.
Shuffled to one corner, shoulder to shoulder with other young ladies of high society, a teacup balancing on your head, and young impressionable minds being dilated with piths of old literature, the core values and ideals of what governed over man and woman â this is what an etiquette class consisted of.
Art was next; the studying of paintings on textbooks as theyâve been sketched and photographed over the years, their history, the way the marble is cut and shaped, the way the bronze hero was melted to make weapons and coins in times of hardship, the way the stony goddess of love shied away not from the viewer nor from her nudity. Gods old and new, dead or alive. Decarabian and his circular castle, his tomb, the would be tyrannical winds that bend to the whims of no one but the few ticklish chords of a harp. The statue of a lover holding onto masterfully crafted fingers, fingers made to match, yet laying underneath the earth for years on end without his beloved, an old poem, indecipherable still, crafted at the heel of the mourning stone, tears of mud in silent agony. The masked fools of unknown origin, the star shaped sword found deep within a dreary chasm, sharp as celestial rage throughout the aeons.
The old madam teaching art was very old indeed. Her glasses laid dormant on the small stool table next to her, thick white hair braided like a crown atop her wrinkled head. She was recounting the story of the lone girl in the clouds again, word for word, not a syllable set adrift by the roughness of her scratchy voice, uttering each sentence like a musical concord. It was an old story, spun through the years, centuries, this way and that way, fitting whichever eraâs moral standard of the time in order to teach impressionable young ladies the doâs and donâts of society and lull children into sleep â the girls toyed with by mere men even as they sat at the hand of a god, wind shifting their fates at the drop of a ball; a lesson about sacrilege, perhaps, though about what? The fair women, or the carved palms which held them up for all the world to see? If this particular god was real, then the ball would surely float or drop out of bounds. Or, the maiden would go through a metamorphosis and take off into the sky. Maybe the lesson behind the story was to learn from the past and try to be better than the forefathers.
If so, it was proving to be a hard learned lesson.
The old lady at the front of the room cleared her throat, gulped the lukewarm tea from her cup, and entered the last few paragraphs of the story.
She wasnât from any âeliteâ family in Mondstadt, but she had taught nearly five generations of young ladies now. Having hailed from Snezhnaya, the old croak was bitterly cold, steely eyes cutting even now as one dropped and the other was half closed, neck adorned by old family jewels and fingers heavy with rings gifted out of gratitude â her stern, stiff demeanour when it came to âbreakingâ the girls â as well as the young boys, occasionally â was looked upon with much reverence indeed, and though now that crown had lost its lustre, the way she still moved about in her old age inspired both awe and fear. With her cane, she hit any giggling girl and knocked a teacup over the head if she thought the gaggling ladies werenât walking with the right sway. One word from her and anyone one of you in this room could be confined to a house for a month.
You tried to stifle a yawn for the third time in the span of ten minutes, leaning to the side, behind a girlâs back, to hide it. The old bat was more than half blind, but her ears were as sharp as ever.
Her head swivelled towards where you sat. You feared, for a moment, that the weight of her braided crown would snap her neck.
Such fears were always unfounded, however, for wicked old dogs always die last.
It was Friday. You were tired, wanting nothing more than to go home and sleep the rest of the day away or attempt, at first, to take interest in one of the boring books your lady mother had set out for you; even more pamphlets about all the esteeming accomplishments a woman were to have to deserve to be regarded as such â music, dancing, drawing, the occasional child rearing lecture, the knowledge of languages. Surely, she didnât want you to spend the rest of the rest of your precious weekend in a similar fashion? It was truly impossible, unfathomable even. You could already feel your body, your nerves, thrushing this way and that way to move; the corner of your lips, your eyebrow, a finger or all of them, a change in position, a look in another direction. You longed for this dreary business to end, you yearned for something to wake your sly interests. Anyone and anything would do, as long as this wretched, meaningless class ended this moment and the party proceeded with the usual âwalkaboutâ around town. This activity, one where youâd be forced to walk around with another girl or two for company, dressed in fine silks and linen fabrics, made to socialise with people you wanted nothing to do with, would be an activity most detested by you. This day however, the promise of stretching out your legs seemed like an everlasting winter.
Of course, there were other options besides a promenade, and as long as you could slip away from present company you would be able to fill up your daily quota of bad deeds easily enough. Itâd be unfortunate if the day passed without you committing a small sin or another, a miniscule disgraceful act to satisfy you.
The heavens seemed to have smiled upon you then â the old croak cleared her throat, again, and tapped the gilded end of her blackwood pipe at the edge of the round table where a couple of books and her tea, which by now mustâve grown cold, sat. âThat is all for today, young ladies,â she dismissed promptly, taking the time to filter through the faces amongst her crowd. As the ice of her gaze drew near you you made sure to straighten up your posture, keep your face as tightly still as possible, imagining your skin stretching over too much bone, hands folded neatly on top of your lap. If you could will your eyes to shine as brightly as the stars in the sky you would. Alas, whatever dullness she found in them either did not raise her particular concern (the seven forbid if your mother and father received from her another letter depicting the crime of the mediocrity of your interest in her and her words) or perhaps you did willfully enlightened your eyes through the mere thought.
In any case, you wasted no time after that in jumping up from your seat, grabbing the book youâve been handed, a theological monstrosity wrapped around a predictable love story written before your grandmother was even born.Â
You could never understand the thought what lurking danger could be behind a kiss on the cheek by a fair maidenâ, and yet this book certainly vexed you enough by the mortification such an innocent touch brought to the literary masses dubbed with ink in those pages as to think that yes, perhaps a simple kiss was a cursed thing to give to a lover if it were going to enrage the masses, so much so, in fact, that theyâd resort to stoning you or burn you alive as a witch, or accuse you of such ridiculous crimes that brought you the urgent want to use the pages of the book as a fire starter. The meaning behind the story, you thought, was so painstakingly clear that the old hag herself would have grown bored of it by now. Perhaps, if she lived for another half a decade, she could request a more salacious book, one where a woman and a man held hands even, and shared a kiss under a cherry tree, or in between the bushes, or wherever else a loverâs kiss could be freely given to the beloved.
âMiss Wolfram,â a most inconvenient companion called out to you, going as far as to even link arms with you. âWalk with us?â
Drat.
You smiled. âOf course. Where to?â you asked, trying to show the proper enthusiasm as you curled your elbow around hers.
She giggled, her other friend following suit at her other elbow. âBy the training grounds - there is more eventful game to be found there, no?â
âHow shameless, Anna.â
There was no bite behind your words, of course, and she knew it â hence the reason she continued to smirk, even as her shy friend at the other side started growing red with realisation. âPerhaps,â Anna hummed, blonde curls shining beautifully under the sun. âBut I would like to think that the satisfaction of ocular senses is much more elegant than those of the more depraved ones. A sweet tongue like yours, Wolf, would be much better suited to remain sharp rather than bland.â
Ah.
âIf so, then I pity old lady Klavdiya. You clearly donât know the dangers a passing look could hide. Just read the book, it should tell you all about it.â
âMm, if we were still in the old ages then perhaps I wouldâve been more shy. As it is now I am more than certain that passing looks can be fruitful for oneâs constitution, isnât that right, Maria?â
The shy brunette nodded, growing even more red. You couldnât resist poking fun at her. âI see. They say itâs always the quiet ones.â
Anna laughed. âSomething like that, I suppose.â
By now you had arrived at the fountain. There was a kid in it, trying to give a bath to a fluffy, plumpy looking house cat who had its claws hooked to the kidâs sleeves and meowing like all frightened house cats did. Its bushy tail was curled between its hind legs, and no matter how many promises of tasty and sweet scented fish the kid gave, the feline persisted against the ill advised idea. Anna went on then, as you three walked towards the stairs leading up to the Knights headquarters, how amusing it was to keep pets at oneâs house, commenting on how to tend to them, their fur, their fussy attitudes when it was time yet again to cut their nails. Maria agreed heartedly with her friend and appeared to gather some confidence in her shoulders as she marched on.
You stayed silent for the most part, simply humming along in agreement - what did you know of pets, anyway - all the while thinking of all the dangers walking by a dozen or so young boys and men, all of whom were, surely under this scorching sun, in some state of undress, and the fits of blood breaking in the face if that outcome shall come to pass. Perhaps Anna had some vested interest in the flowers wilting under the sun, though in your humble opinion, none of those flowers would ever grace your window, none of them, even in their throes of blossoming beauty, could ever tempt you to dirty the hems of your skirts, to bow down and pick one up, indulge in their colours and smells.Â
On your way up you met the old man Alchemist. He was holding on to his cane and trying, with his arthritis riddled bones and nerves, to gather a soil sample for some reason or another. Anna stopped, while still gripping your elbow around hers she suggested Maria help the poor man with his work. âOnce youâre finished, we can meet up in the plaza?â she asked in a way that was too soft, too mellow. If honey could rot, resting upon that tongue would be one way to do it.
Despite the scowls but still polite spoken refusals from the old Alchemist - he was old and thus equipped with little patience about the vices of a rich girl such as Anna Lionheart - Maria, partly due to mortification at the clear dismissal from her more influential friend, and also probably due to her good nature (and this you firmly believed, for never had you seen her committing a grave sin which would befoul her honour and title as a lady, always cradling the broken boned bird in her soft, petite hands, and because people have always confused kind, nice gestures with stupidity), made quick work of soiling the fabric around her knees by kneeling down on the dirt since the old Alchemist couldnât. Admittingly, his old and wrinkled complexion took a hit, for he seemed now more appalled at the notion of not only receiving help with his soon-to-be-over-indefinitely work, but to also receive said help from a girl who would gladly âdebaseâ herself enough to dirty herself.Â
Whereas Anna Lionheartâs family was in the same circle as yours was, merchants which had the means to sell products to half of Teyvat and more, Mariaâs family was a family of only old money and not much power. They owned part of a field the town used for agriculture, getting some pretty coin every harvest, but no more than that. Your family and Annaâs the Leonhearts and the Wolframs, had the means to apply pressure where pressure needed to be applied if given reason, had the power (which consisted of mostly gall and putting up airs, you were of the belief) to block this vote on such matter or another, to push for that vote in this discussion or another and even introduce one.
Of course, the Knights of Favonius were no fools.
Varka was an especially devious one; a remark which your father had groaned and whined about for no more than at least two dozen times the past year for some reason. Whatever governing power he held out in front of the faces of the elite class, he did so with his various degrees of amusement and mischief, and only allowed them to smell the intricacies of said power before he pocketed it away. When it came to social power â well, the public wasnât especially gracious in their behaviour towards any of them, sneering or side eyeing them with no small degree of scrutiny. This abuse (and you used this word lightly) was a smudge in an otherwise unbroken, white paged book which the Ragnvindrs didnât have to suffer; always the darlings of this free city since ancient times, with beautiful daughters and equally handsome sons, all the exemplary manners and everyday etiquette, painstakingly unblemished morals, and the annoying habit of being genuine believers of the god Barbatos.
Now, if only your brother managed to win the favour of Varka as well as that one of the good and young Captain then perhaps your family too will be able to taste the saccharine treat of being a societal âdarlingâ in this city.Â
(he was doomed to fail, of course â your belief in the existence of Barbatos was begrudgingly one towards acceptance, if only to prove that the familyâs sins of the past had cost you now, in the present time, your future. As it were, the impression of a family curse being laid upon the bones of your forefathers and now upon yours as well had not made its existence known, even of your fatherâs eyes were always lurking here and there for a speck of it, and your motherâs Sumerian blood chuckled at the ridiculous notion of it.)
Why, one of those priceless sweethearts was but a few mere steps away, instructing his knights to run this way or the other, to drop down and give him their laboured breaths, their sweats and tears.
âOh my,â Anna hummed, flicking her fan open and hiding her smiling nose and nose behind it, âarenât we in luck? Look, Wolf, starlings, so many starlings.â She admired and mocked in the same breath, a prominent characteristic from which she derived love and, thus, hate. âDonât you want to bite some?âÂ
Ah, the shortening of your surname to its basic animalistic meaning seemed to amuse her as well, for some obscure reason or another, but of course, this was a test, you surmised with surety, for the lion and the wolf were both dangerous, and if the brave one wanted to tease, the cunning one need only play along and wait.
âI am afraid Iâd starve,â you went along with her metaphor, because of course youâd be forced to be reduced to such driveling cliches. You'd roll your head straight out of your skull if it weren't considered rude.
She hummed. âYouâre right. Your teeth are much too sharp for those little bones, but you must indulge me just this once. Today was dreadfully dull.â
By now, the presence of two ladies standing next to the training grounds garnered some attention from the knights. A few of the other ones, presumably recognizing when they were being sized up for a particular kind of slaughter, suddenly seemed as spry as spring. Someone blushed, someone coughed scandalously while scrambling to wear one of the piled up, discarded shirts (clearly, someone needed to hold a seminar about proper hygiene), while others started picking up speed, making a show of flexing whatever attributes they thought were their best possessions. It was no secret that a lot of young ladies seemed to have a particular interest in frequently adding the Ordo Favonious headquarters in their daily walks, especially at times such as these, when October sun was beginning to dip underneath the earth sooner and sooner.Â
It would be unfair, however, to include the ladies and not the gentlemen which too came to ogle, either at their closest male companions and friends - the seven knew if undressing your closest friend was considered pure platonic comradery or a sign if true friendship - or to enchant the female knights with their usual smiles or annoy them with their scepticism. Case in point; a raven haired knight wedged her axe over her head and brought it down on the wooden dummy with adequate ferocity, all the while glaring at your direction. You ignored the poor display of intimidation, but was greatly surprised when Anna winked at the woman, who then proceeded to miss her next swing and end up almost embedding the axe into her own foot as she sputtered and blushed.
You smiled, said nothing for a moment.
The captain himself was now throwing you a calculating look as he gave instruction on the next set of exercises.
âFine,â you conceded. âShould I go first?â
âBefore you do, you must tell me what your appetite consists of.âÂ
âOh dear,â you fanned your face, full of faux modesty, âyou canât possibly expect me to admit to that.â
âI surely can - I must know if we are eyeing the same man.â
âWell, I am certainly eyeing a man.â
The grip she had on your elbow loosened. Turning her head to you now, she said, âgo on, then.â
Out of all the knights here you were sure that more than half of them had warm, strong hands, charming air that could make you think twice as hard about the words you spoke, the way you acted, and maybe even all of them had been blessed with the good looks of mediocrity and beyond that. More than half of them had sense and the taste for responsibility a woman - or a man too - would look for, especially if one shared the same lazy characteristic as you. Why do anything when you had a strong presence next to you, kindled by the flames of duty and sensibility, kindness (even if that kindness was shown in a way that passed as roughness) and delicate sensibilities for you to grab on and twist?
Many of these knights held such esteemed characteristic traits, indeed, but you only had the need for the one.
You dislodged yourself from the lion and walked forward, ignoring all the puzzling, vexed looks thrown in your way. Your target was familiar with you, your antics, and some of the things you got up with his other familial relation â which was why you excused the frazzled, yet still polite, gaze he threw at you, arms coming to rest at his side, exactly as he was taught.
A proper gentleman, this cityâs darling and your current target upon whom youâd inflict your half hearted villainy.
You stopped in front of him, smiling as brightly as you could, and said, âCaptain.â
âMiss Wolfram.âÂ
Despite the fact that the good and honourable Captain was but seventeen years of age his voice sounded out firm and sure, without any of the teenage awkwardness and cracking quality it held only three years prior in his birthday party. Back then you had been just an inch taller than him and took indeed great pleasure in torturing him in that regard, taking his hand and leading him into the middle of the ballroom for the purpose of granting him his first dance that day, all the while berating yourself silently in a vain attempt to stop your face from cracking in two as the boy squawked and sputtered with non of his current grace. Oh, you had twirled him this way and that, dipped him low on the floor and gifted him a glass of orange juice and a kiss to the knuckles that left them red in the end.
Your mother had berated you the next day, your father had stayed ever so blessedly silent and shut himself into his office while your brother had adopted such a wonderful shade of fury you could still remember its taste it left on your satisfied, thrilled younger self â and when Kaeya invited you over to the Ragnvindr manor the next week for a history studying session (a session which you spend playing cards and fooling around the house if you remembered correctly), you had the personal pleasure of seeing the young heir stomp past you with little to zero grace, all pouty lips and affronted brows. You and Kaeya giggled, and his father was thankfully a forgiving man with a sense of humour, much to Dilucâs dismay.
Unfortunately, that would be the first and last time youâd tease him so, for in the next six months or so he sprouted up like a Sumerian fungus and you could no longer drag him at will to here and there.
âI am in need of your assistance,â you said, inching closer to him still, âand there are important matters I wish to discuss with you, seeing as youâre a knight, and so the only one who can help me shade some light into this particularly questionable choice of literature.â
The Captain, holding true and steadfast to his training, didnât diminish your rather childish whims, evident as they were in the tone of your voice, in the way your eyes squinted as you smiled and blinked, but he did, however, chose to put them aside for the time being. âI am quite busy,â he said with a tone so mellow it rivalled the warmest of spring days â but did not satiate your desire for his attention at the present moment.Â
From the corner of your eyes you saw the beats that dogged your steps open her frilly umbrella. It was much harder to ascertain if her eyes were trained on you or away from you. Still, that mattered little. You didnât want to spend the rest of your free day entertaining Anna Lionheart.
It was with one particular goal in mind that you decided to refuse his refusal on attending to your problem -- your intolerance to his intolerance when it came to you did nothing but egg you on, swell your cheeks with giggles and teasing remarks. It was one thing to fluster a much younger Diluc, as fun as it was, but it another matter entirely to cause him to fluster in front of his brave knights.Â
âI insist.â You looked back towards the sun beaten knights. âI doubt a break will do your hounds any harm.â
He frowned. âDonât call them that.â
âMutts, then,â you compromised.
His crown of red hair was pulled back into a low ponytail as it usually were, but some strands had managed to escape their hold, framing the youthful yet stern face of the Captain. His bangs look dishevelled, sticking to the left and to the right, forming a part in the middle. His eyes, of course, seem content in harvesting the sunâs rays into them, which only seemed to serve in making the Captain look even more a twinkle eyed than usual, and though the usual scowl hanged from his face - no doubt brought on by the insult against his knights - his face remained a smooth marbled testament to how truly young Diluc was.
âYou betray your origin,â he simply said.
For a moment, you were too stunned by the thinly veiled insult to react, but then you laughed behind your closed fan. â Ah, no, itâs merely my family name.â
He was too familiar with you to act like a proper gentleman, and yet foreign enough to not speak the harsher words brewing around that mind of his. In return, however, your answer only made him look that much more upset, or perhaps ashamed due to his words, or maybe yours. It wasnât good etiquette to insult someone so bare-faced, even if the words spoken rang true. You couldnât resist teasing him then. âI assure you Master Diluc, the view from down below is quite lovely. Never has the sky looked so regal, so perennial.â
âI said your origin, not your family name.â
You remembered, if only for a second, why you hated the man - the boy - standing right in front of you. âYou can be so naive sometimes, Diluc. I am my familyâs name.â
You were anxious, for a moment, that he was going to reject you again altogether and youâd be forced to stand under the lionâs vindictiveness.Â
The Captain only stayed silent for a mere minute, sighing before turning to his knights to dismiss them. A weak chorus of happiness rang out into the courtyard and you had to press your lips together to beat back a smile as Dilucâs face spasmed. One by one, the knights emptied out of the courtyard. When you turned around you found Anna nowhere near the vicinity. Youâd be annoyed at having been given the slip, especially since she was the one to drag you all the way here in the first place, but you were most eager to leave now. Today Kaeya was working at the tavern. If you were lucky enough, heâd be able to slip you a cool glass of cherry liqueur before you had to head back home. After all, shouldnât you indulge in the freedom Barbatos himself toiled so hard to earn for his people?
âOkay,â Diluc said, grabbing his winter coat and seething his standard Favonius sword away before passing it off to a knight. âI presume youâll be wanting to go to the tavern then?â he asked, slipping in his coat, âand what is this about questionable literature?âÂ
He made to take a step forward but stopped when you slapped his bicep with your closed fan. Dumbfounded, he looked down at the offending item in your hand. âWhat?â
âIs this how you treat a lady such as me? A simple letâs go ?â you huffed. âIf I had been informed of your caveman like manners I wouldâve abandoned you post haste young master Diluc - or is the gentlemanly air of appearances you go on about with just a game for appearanceâs sake?â
A muscle in his cheek jumped -- and you knew which prize you desired most.Â
âIf anyone here is playing a game Iâd rather think it would be you.âÂ
Nevertheless, he offered you his arm, like any gentleman would. âYou are right, of course, so play along!â You curled your elbow around his. âWhatever little standing I may have in your eyes, whisk it away for today and play this game of pretence with me.â
Wisely - or perhaps more foolishly - Diluc didnât react much to your jib, only managing to glow a faint red which could be attributed, surely, to the effect your irritating wiles had on him. Having gathered his wits, he turned to you swiftly. âDonât put words in my mouth.â
You opened your fan, hiding the lower part of your face lest he saw the way your lips quirked. âLet us examine that statement for a moment, shall we?â
âLetâs not.â
âWho was it that refused to help me , an unchaperoned lady, when she asked the first time, and had to thus resort to insisting a second time?âÂ
Incredulous now, Diluc opened his mouth to speak â you pressed your fan against his lips to shut him up, ignoring the flare of his vision hanging from his hip between you. âAnd who was it, once again, that rather rudely stated that I was betraying my origin? What other origin could you possibly mean but me ? You are, now, indicating that not only do you know my person but that I have also significantly lowered my position in your eyes with nothing more than a benign comment,â - as if calling his knights mutts warranted such treatment, ha! - âand now, lastly, you see fit to presume my destination which, for me, an unchaperoned lady of seemingly high status would bring nothing but shame and horror to my family name if I were ever to be found out in those kinds of establishments.â
The young Captain was, once again, foolishly staying quiet, all suffering.
âWhere does that particular presumption lead, if not to belittle me and debase me as an everyday street wench who loves sweet wine and has naught opportunities to write red letters?â
Finally, the young Captainâs face crumpled and the corners of his eyes creased with laughter. Taking a hold of her wrist, he lowered the hand that was holding the fan up to his face. Why, he was smiling truly now. âThe airs of rich innocence donât suit you.â
âPerhaps,â you admitted. â Perhaps. Yet, I have not failed to notice the lack of rebuttals regarding my apt observations.â
He stayed silent, urging you instead to start walking towards the plaza with the little fountain and the myriad of aromaâs coming from the food stalls.Â
The month of February was in reality no less harsher than that of January, and even as early in the day as it was, the sun was beginning to sink beneath mountains and rivers, painting white clouds with the first droplets of pink â always a sight, those pink clouds, and then after the fiery orange spreading over the celestial sky, breaking out in stark white stars.
In truth, youâve wasted so much time with Lionheart and her friend, and now with Diluc too, that taking a short trip to the tavern was near impossible if you wanted to make it home before dark. You could only hope that the footman waiting by the family carriage hadnât been carried off by his wiles yet again, lest you find the fool decorating the bushes outside the Ragnvindrâs Tavern once more with his foul stomach content.
The long, white-grey coat was whipping around your legs, Dilucâs dark one doing the same; dancing in the winds, slapping against each other and against the windas you walked on, the whipping cold numbing your unprotected nose. You had refused to wear a hat, however, even in this weather, for it would ruin the perfect head of hair you had toiled over, and although the air current was certainly doing the same, you preferred whipped like hair instead of the frizzy monstrosity the hat would have introduced.
The heat emanating from Dilucâs vision was nearly leaving steam as it drove away the cold, allowing a mellow warmth, liquid, as it set into your bones. There were days where nothing in the world could warm you after succumbing to a cold, no matter how close to the fireplace you lay, in your own room, entombed with your own will and touch. Your fingers would grow stiff from the cold, leaving you thus unable to write with comfort and fluidity â and you so hated scratchy letters, unmoving and petrified down onto the page, nothing you hated more than the pain on your back as your muscles locked into themselves as you shivered.Â
Winter was most foul. Beautiful in its own unique way, yet foul nevertheless.
You could offer a complaint to the man - boy - next to you, but sort of lighting himself on fire there was nothing to be done. Besides, the last dying embers of the sun would be able to sustain the sound mobility of your fingers until you arrived home.
And while you were buried under the nonsensical musing of cold and winter, of hot soups and fire whiskeys hidden in your fatherâs library, Diluc stopped, abruptly, at the top of the staircase leading down to the plaza.
âDo you really believe that?â he asked, staring into your eyes in a way that made you squirm.
âWhat?â
âDo you really believe I hold naught respect for you?â
You narrowed your gaze. âWho said anything about respect?â
Affronted, he repeated your own words back to you. âI have not failed to notice the lack of rebuttals regarding my apt observations.â
âAh, that.â You waved him off. âThat was me simply teasing you; you know it to be my favourite pastime.
âGood,â he said, resolutely, and so began your descent down the stairs. âAs annoying as you are sometimes -â excuse me!? â- you must know I hold you in the highest regard.â
The words flowed so easily out of his mouth it nearly made you stumble and for laughter to burst out of your mouth. The tight knot in the pit of your stomach whipped itself around your lower ribs. âSuch words should be given a bit of thought before given so freely - like I said, dear Captain, you are still somewhat naive.â
For a moment he regarded you with absolute earnesty (because the boy had always worn his heart on his sleeve), and you considered tripping him down the stairs.
âMaybe I am,â Diluc said. âBut I am not prepared to give up my position in this matter.â
âI see.â you hummed, certain you were delirious. âVery well then. You must promise me, however, that when and if youâre ever proven wrong in that regard that you wonât reproach me; after all, I have clearly stated your faults in your opinions of others, and so I have washed my hands of consequence when it comes to your person.â
He sighed, a glimmer of his childhood self shining through with the pout that followed. âYou are needlessly dramatic.â
âI am not,â you rebuked, and then, because the rope around your intestines felt as if it had wrapped its rough, itchy limbs around your fragile ribs, you demanded, âsay it again.â
âSay what again.â
âWhat you just said.â
âNeedlessly dramatic?â
â No. Before that.â
He flushed, and the dark pink colour in his cheeks was beautiful against the harshness of winter. âWhy must I say it again?â
âDo you need a reason to pay a compliment to a lady such as myself?â
âA debt I've already paid off.â
âKaeya would do my bidding,â you changed tactics, knowing full well that the other Ragnvindr brother would absolutely not do such a thing - heâd be more prone to cooking a fish on your lips than doing what he was told.
You felt lightheaded at the prospect of Diluc doing the same.
âHe would not !â the redhead almost stomped, looking down on you with mounting vexation. The blood red of his eyes blended with his whipping hair, black eyelashes long enough for the first flakes of snow to clutch onto.
âHe would, â you kept on, stubborn in your lies. âKaeya is a good boy who knows that all good things must be said thrice.âÂ
That was the reason he lied so much, after all.
Diluc was a portrait of scandalization. âLetâs change the subject.â
âOnly if you say please three times in a row.â
