LTW Challenge - Bebe Hart - 02-22-2014, 05:55 AM

Got into town late last night and went straight to bed. Before I left Bridgeport, I went online and found a house to rent. So I didn't have to stay in a hotel last night. And it's close to the beach. Which will be nice. I guess. Had a bunch of noisy seagulls squawking their stupid heads off early this morning. Can you say, "Time to go gun shopping?" I wonder how they'll taste on a grill?

Anyway, was planning on a quiet day at home, getting settled, but noooooo! A nosey neighbor came peeking in the window. So I told her, whatever she was selling, I wasn't buying, and to get the fram off my property before I shot her with my non-existent gun. She gave me some song and dance about being the neighborhood 'welcome wagon.' As if I've ever been on the wagon! So I told her, I do NOT have a drinking problem, thank you very much, and do NOT need herr frammin' wagon. And she had 10 seconds to skedaddle before I set my Rottweiler lose on her. That got her moving!

Well, the rest of the day was pretty quiet after that. Got all my junk unpacked, then realized I had nothing in the house to eat.

So I decided to go to one of the local clubs downtown. While I was there, I decided to try the mechanical bull. I mean, how hard can they be to ride? I've seen Matt Hamming do it in the movies, and he's older than dirt. So piece of cake!

Well, that didn't go quite as planned. I'm thinking the bull's defective, doncha know.

Luckily, no one was paying any attention. Sure wouldn't want any embarrassing pictures surfacing. Because, believe it or not, I have some enemies. Yeah, I know! Hard to believe. But it's true. So, it's good no one saw it. Still, I think I'll be writing an article about this bull. Won't mention the part about being tossed off, obviously, but maybe say a visiting Ticklepaw dignitary - maybe that Michael Bachelor - was tossed on his a** while attempting to ride it. That way I can poke fun at TSD's "sports legend," while still getting back at the bar for their defective bull. A win-win situation if there ever was one! Sometimes I simply amaze myself with how clever I am.

Well time to go back home. Have to get up bright and early for my new job. After all, can't be late the first day. No. I'll save that for day 2.
