i’ve never yapped about tiangou (heavenly dog beast) luo binghe on here and that’s a shame. the short idea of tiangou is that an (evil/demonic) one eats the moon during lunar eclipses. i could so see that being abstracted and it suits heavenly demons so well. like why wouldn’t 天魔 tianmo -> heavenly demons have 天狗 tianguo -> heavenly dog forms???

so lbh descended from tiangou heavenly demons and when he’s young, he’s that sweet little bingpup that sy dotes on. and he stays bingpup until his seal breaks. in the abyss he grows into his full huge fuck off gigantic tiangou body but he refuses to show it to sy once he’s back, because sy liked his cute little pup form. so he just doesn’t go doggy-mode for a long time, because he’s embarrassed 😔
