Just rewatched disney's Princess and the Frog and like highkey why did i not include this as one of my artistic inspirations during my Defense, like Vampire Debutante is sooo inspired by Princess and the Frog.
Me being an animator in general was inspired by Princess and the Frog like ??

Autistic Tiana!
Think about it. Even though her routines aren’t the healthiest, she can’t stand to be outside of them and functions well within. She has exquisite and specific taste. disney (not counting pixar) hasnt made a truly transcendent work of art since like, lilo and stitch. and i say that as someone who loves a lot of the movies theyve made since then. wreck it ralph is great, i saw it in theaters three times over, but i would never call it high art in the way i think the lion king is
