i know intellectually that i lost interest in marvel after endgame but it is still genuinely so eerie to sit in a movie theater and watch as bucky barnes appears on screen—30 feet tall and in high definition—and feel absolutely no emotional response whatsoever. in 2016 i saw captain america civil war 4 times in cinemas. the year before that i sat through the entirety of antman in theaters just because bucky was in the end credits scene. i still am incredibly fond of most things i liked a decade ago so you know the mcu situation is Dire if they managed to scare away little freaks like me
