Alan was angry. John was being John. Gordon knew something, Virgil was scared, and Scott wasn't answering his phone.

Not strictly a WIP, but a couple of paragraphs excised from “Left for Dead – Part 1”, where Scott is thinking about his relationship with Eos, and why he doesn’t truly trust her. These had to go, it was detouring from where the story needed to go, but I do like them. They may yet be resurrected for another fic, but in the meantime, have some words (and if they spark something off for you, go right ahead, pretty please?):

Scott had been defending his brothers from harm ever since he had first met John, not even a day old, in the hospital. His parents had been fond of telling the story of how the then toddler Scott had unnerved the nurse when he had fiercely admonished her “No hurt bubby!” as she tried to take the baby’s temperature. Failing to protect his brothers was not an option. Not when the last words his mother had spoken to him were, “Look after your brothers until I get back.” Scott was still waiting for his mother to get back.

I generally do that because it's quicker to collect data and analyze about just the biggest fandoms -- not because those are the ones that matter most, and also not because most fanworks are in big fandoms. But I wanted to take a moment now to visualize the sizes of different fandoms on AO3 in a couple different ways -- and to highlight just how many of the fandoms on AO3 are smaller fandoms.

Sad News, David Graham has died, voiced Parker, Brains and Gordon Tracy in Thunderbirds and voiced Parker again in Thunderbirds are Go.

Sadly that's everyone from the original Thunderbirds show has gone now.
