This good OpEd provides some clues as to why a STRONG, PEOPLE-CONTROLLED, POWERFUL government is the ONLY solution to our world's problems.

Contributing to charities encourages corruption and price gouging.  Charities take in money and are forced to pay whatever the going price is for the goods and services that they want to provide to the people.

If The Humanity Party® was in power, there wouldn't be any need for charities ... they wouldn't be needed.  People wouldn't have to worry about asking for charity and people wouldn't feel guilty if they couldn't contribute to charity.

To those religious people who believe in God's power that can save the world, what do you think your Christ is going do if he actually comes like you are waiting for him to do?  HE'S GOING TO SET UP A STRONG, POWERFUL ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT!

Can you hear the SOS?

ABBA’s 1975 single plays over the stereo loudly “Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find. I tried to reach for you, but you have closed your mind. Whatever happened to our love? I wish I understood. It used to be so nice; it used to be so good. So, when you’re near me, darling can’t you hear me, SOS?” 

 Today the familiar lyrics take on strident meaning after recent report of more deaths from another chemical bomb and a father burying his twin toddlers, wife, and family members, who wants the world to see what is happening. Another nuclear test sets off media inquiries, which leads a diplomat to express his weariness of the subject, and the week ends with more bombs.

 One of the nation’s most prestigious financial institutions, JPMorgan, published a lengthy letter outlining that “something is wrong” in America.” Namely, the scrapping of trade agreements, the immigration crackdown, anti-globalization sentiment, more money going to defense rather than economics, and the rollback of clean air and water initiatives, to name a few.

 A partisan Supreme Court candidate’s battle concluded with a GOP announcement that it would change Senate vote requirements, thus avoiding a filibuster and assuring their candidate passage.  Ironically, they called the move a “nuclear option.” This should demonstrate to Americans how easily long-held policies can change when the motivation exists.

 ABBA’s lyrics continue (with changes to illustrate a point) “How can I, you, us, the world, even try to go on? You seem so far away. We’re all alive, but something’s dying, I fear. So when you’re near me dear, nothing else can save us, S.O.S.” No shortage of problems beset the world today. Urgent ‘S-ave O-ur S-elves’ cries come from all corners of the planet. The best rescue plan for people in order to carry on is as near as reading the proposals at HumanityParty.com.

 Governments, armies, and other humanitarian organizations in solidarity could bring all citizens and any devastated areas the emergency supplies, services, and protection they need, thus demonstrating real human compassion. Supplying people with necessary FBNL (Five Basic Necessities of Life) cards would immediately help anyone start anew and induce business interests to join and profit in rebuilding cities.

 JPM endorses good trade relations between nations: “Improving political and economic relationships can be good for both parties” and “Mexico is a long standing peaceful neighbor and it’s wholly in our country’s interest that Mexico be a prosperous nation.” Doesn’t it make sense that Earth, after all, is a large blended family participating in global economics?

 The Humanity Party® platform proposes Constitutional reform and legislation, affirming fair trade cooperation and agreements between nations for the benefit of all people. Global systems can only improve when nations understand “every dollar (etc.) spent on battle is a dollar that can’t be used elsewhere” (JPM). Supplied with lifelong FBNL cards, people would have greater disposable income to support and expand national and worldwide equitable social-capitalism, unlike any other time in history.

 Nations would prosper, people would be happier, war/terror would be eliminated, and peace would be established. Humans would care for and protect Earth’s environment to benefit their existence and the only politics/policies left would be those favorable to all people equally. It could be so good, if people would hear… and the love you’ve shown us, nothing else can save us, The Humanity Party® is our world’s S.O.S!

European Union Failure

Resulting from warring European neighbors and culminating in World War II, the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) and the European Economic Community (EEC) sought to end conflict and primarily secure economic stability and lasting peace by forming the European Union (EU) through 6 original countries: Belgium, France, West Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. It has now grown to 28 members.

In the EU’s 60+ years of existence, the world is now seeing and experiencing its colossal failure. Slovenia’s author Slavoj Zizek puts the question simply: “What went wrong in society that opened up the space for anti-immigrant racism?”

If the EU’s purpose was democracy and peace, why are so many people across Europe’s nations experiencing more poverty, racism, terrorism, and the rise of far-right political candidates & ideological policies within the EU itself?

Some facts to consider;

Londoners voted to Brexit the EU in 2016.

National Party Candidate Marine Le Pen has pledged to remove France from the EU if elected.

Hungary’s second largest political party, Jobbik, promising economic improvement, also has one of the most intolerant foreign platforms in Europe. Ironically, 26 years after escaping Soviet Communism in hopes of economic improvement through the EU, Hungary remains one of the poorest nations, having near 1 million citizens without basic electricity and heat. Jobbik’s mostly young supporters see themselves as “cheap labor for western capitalism.”

In 2015, Hungary erected fencing along its border; other countries have followed.

Austria, Africa, Belgium, Greece, France, Hungary, Slovenia, Syria, etc., and even the United States are experiencing protest and unrest due to economic disparity. What leaders have yet to demonstrate, that they understand or care about, is that a nation’s “poverty leads to extreme actions.” -Noam Chomsky

People must realize that to end all terrorism, which always results from extreme economic disparity, the world must change the accepted rules of capitalism. For example, Americans recently elected a billionaire President—a model of capitalistic authority—believing that he can bring economic opportunity to all citizens. Yet, 63 days into his presidency, his party failed to formulate a health plan covering all people equally or inexpensively. 

The poorest civilians don’t create poverty or economic inequality; they are extreme victims of it. Religious extremism is not the root of terrorism; economic imbalance is. Far Right or In-vs.-Out ideologies & policies will not solve capitalistic injustices—only worsen them.

Parisians have begun committee gatherings named NUIT DEBOUT (The Night Standing) discussing everything from economy and the environment to immigration/refugee issues, because they believe Parliament listens to and cares only for business, banking, and corporate interests.

Globally, people are shouting for fair capitalistic reformation. Hear/here is The Humanity Party®’s plan (backed by a $100K worldwide challenge) to provide every human their FBNL (five basic necessities of life) funded by a consumption-based taxation alongside a legislated controlled anti-inflation algorithm. Refining Human Liberty

The new administration discovered in recent days, despite how many times the President said in campaign, how easily and quickly healthcare could be replaced, that it couldn't. The first piece of legislation that the Republicans presented for vote was withdrawn from Congress due to lack of support from within the party itself, despite promises, deal making, and threats. Lack of support had also been voiced by some of the largest health organizations in the country. All the media’s reporting of the failed process goes to illustrate how deeply complex and ineffective American politics have become in our infant 241 years. At this pace, imagine how much worse it will be in the future.

America’s vision of social problems and their solutions has become distorted; The Humanity Party® has the platform to help all people see clearly.

1.      Issue every human a personal card for free access to the Five Basic Necessities of Life (FBNL) from birth to death, i.e., healthy food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, and education. Poverty would be eliminated and people would have greater equitable opportunity to engage in and boost capitalism.

2.       The Humanity Party® is a movement utilizing social media to inform potential supporters who need only sign their names on the website and help spread the information. No fundraising or personal gain is permitted. Elected officials representing The Humanity Party® will emerge through social media.

3.      Tax-Free social programs [FBNL] are funded by monies collected from a Consumption-Based Taxation. An Anti-inflation law would be legislated and controlled through an algorithm equation to be charged based on the consumption of all goods and services outside of those required (non-essentials) to support FBNL. The Humanity Party’s® platform prioritizes and controls all Government administration, budgetary concerns, and spending for the benefit of all humans.

4.      The Humanity Party® supports Immigration Reform, returning America to its original inclusive glory and setting a precedent once and for all in demonstrating to the world its willingness and ability to allow people the fundamental right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In doing so, it will abolish currently accepted inhumane, tyrannical, and unjust policies and practices.

5.       All established Government legislative acts and procedures must support the wants and needs of all people, proportionate to the support and protection of Earth’s natural laws and environment.

 Political reformation is neither difficult nor impossible when human equality is the clear core principle.
