HEY THERE ! NEW AU TIME . (brought to you by me and with the help of the Simphat Server)

Ghost Hunting AU !!

- Right and Reginald are college roommates who don’t really know much about each other at first . Reg is a VERY strong believer in the paranormal and he DESPERATELY wants to prove it to people . He can’t see ghosts but he’s positive they exist out there somewhere !! He wants to prove their existence to Right , so the two of them end up at a long abandoned house with a camera and cheap “ghost hunting equipment” in search for anything supernatural .

- Freaky things that point to there being ghosts around DO happen , but they don’t actually see anything around and Right is still stuck in his beliefs . Despite not really believing any of it , Right does like the adventure and getaway that the “ghost hunting” gives them , so he continues to go along with it .

- Unbeknownst to both of them , Right can naturally see ghosts and spirits and has a keen instinct for anything supernatural . He has to confront this fact head on when the pair meet Ellie Rose , an enraged poltergeist who haunts an abandoned house and has personally wrecked the place through and through throughout the many years she’s been there .

- Ellie was a convicted witch during the Salem Witch Trials era , though whether she actually was a witch or not is unknown . Regardless , she’s mad and her rage and determination to seek revenge has forced her to stay tethered to the living world , despite those who wronged her being long dead now .

- Ellie attaches herself to the pair after realizing Right has the ability to interact with her , hoping they can help her be freed from the mortal realm and finally move on . They don’t know HOW they’re gonna help her yet , but they’ll figure something out .

- Next they meet Charles Calvin , an ex-fighter-pilot from the 20th century who died in a plane crash . Charles was just a wandering spirit , claiming to go wherever his instincts led him to . He’s searching for his father so he can tell him he’s okay ... but he doesn’t quite realize his father (Galeforce) is long gone by now . Charles decides to tag along with the group in hopes of finding him .

- Finally they find recently deceased thief Henry Stickmin in an abandoned museum . He’d been killed while trying to steal from the place and his constant haunting and treasure stealing led to the building being shut down . He doesn’t really know what’s keeping him in this world instead of the afterlife , but he expresses fear in discovering what lies beyond this realm , so he chooses not to move on .

- (Henry stole the dollar sign necklace from the museum after he died , like him , it’s invisible to mostly everyone [exception being Right] when he’s wearing it , but when he takes it off it reappears to other living people . This is important .)

- Triple Threat , or in this case; polterthreat , is formed . Ghostly shenanigans ensue . Including the ghosts constantly teasing Right about his feelings for Reg , Reg being endlessly fascinated by Right’s ability to see and talk to the dead , and polterthreat trying to figure out anyway that they can directly talk to Reg so Right doesn’t have to be a middle man (things like knocking items over or writing on papers and whiteboards) .

- One by one , the three ghosts become at peace and start to fade away into the afterlife ; Charles moves on when he finally gets to make peace with his father by visiting his grave , Ellie’s rage is quelled and she learns it’s more important to go on than stay miserable and trapped out of spite , and Henry is encouraged to follow after his friends when seeing them leave to the other side and with Right and Reg’s support . Before he leaves , Henry gives Right his stolen dollar sign necklace as a parting gift and a thank you for their help . It’s a very bittersweet ending for them all , but Reg and Right know it’s not gonna be the last time they see those strange spirits .

Ghost Hunters is a THSC AU comic ran by me :D( @terrence-unsuaved ). It’s a bit of a summer passion project and also my first comic, so we’ll see how it turns out! At the moment it’s only me running, and it’s my first time doing this sort of long-running comic so please be patient!

First and foremost, your art style is amazing! Also some random Ghost AU questions, In the main universe, has Right ever had like a full convo with someone and everyone just looks at him before he realizes it was a ghost he was talking to? Also would ghost vision work the same in different AUs like Prison AU, Medieval AU or RHMGreen AU? Last question, Leftie with ghost vision, how does the bean manage?

now onto the questions ,,

1 . I can definitely see it happening some time after he really grasps that he can talk to ghosts . It'd either be some sort of poltergeist wanting to pull tricks , someone who's so desperate for conversation they didn't want to mention the whole being dead thing , or they just . thought Right was another ghost to talk to , with that pupil sheen it happens quite a lot in broad daylight . (This question actually gives me some ideas ahdjahjdsbsj)

2 . Yes it would ! The basic rules of ghosts and seeing them would still very much apply , right down to Right being the only one who can actually see/interact with them (at least , as far as we know .)

3 . Well , can't say I was expecting a question about Leftie here BUT - Leftie would ,, probably be scared of ghosts if we're being honest here . At least at first . poor lad's kind of terrified ahajdsh he warms up to them eventually though !
