jeon wonwoo + “i can’t. i made a promise.”

joyful laughter rings about the apartment, accompanied by the muted padding of your stockinged feet. wonwoo’s own little thuds seem to echo yours as he chases you around the kitchenette.

“c’mon on, y/n! i already told you who’s your secret santa– tell me mine!”

“no, i can’t!” you giggle. “i made a promise!”

“y/n!”

“it’s called a secret santa, wonu!”

“where’s the fun in that?!”

the exasperation is clear in his voice as he tries to round you against the island. keyword: tries, because you both just end up running in circles around the kitchenette. alas, wonwoo finally catches you, his arms trapping you between his broad chest and the counter. you’re immediately attacked by him nuzzling into your face; the most perfect way to go, if you say so yourself.

maybe it’s the way he’s bumping noses with you. or maybe how the counter edge doesn’t dig into your back because he’s purposefully placed his hand in between. or that he constantly flits between your lips and your eyes. maybe it’s how he’s leaning into you, distance closing–

“–jihoon.”

wonwoo pulls back, more confused than ever. he squints at that, and you let out a laugh when you make out the cogs moving in his head.

wonwoo grins, leaning into you again as he whispers:

“i thought you promised?”

“just tell me who’s mine and we’ll call it even.”
