WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU SCREWED UP THE PLACE CARDS?
Uh-oh! Trouble is brewing on the horizon! The catering company in charge of the food has shuffled up all the name cards, leaving Descanso employees to hastily place everyone’s cards on the wrong tables. No one’s sitting where they’re supposed to, which means — will it be an hour and a half of pure awkwardness? Or will you be able to make some new friends?

out-of-character information
As a way to encourage more interactions with other individuals, we have come up with tables of random groupings of characters! For dinner-related threads, you may only interact with these individuals.
Please start at least four threads total with others sitting at your character’s table, preferably with a player that you have not interacted with, though we encourage more if you can. A reminder that they do not have to be long, and can be simple dialogue interactions if you wish.
As a disclaimer, we worked hard to have each player’s character sit at a different table, and group characters with other ones that have not interacted much yet, but we cannot guarantee that you will be paired with a player that you have not spoken to. Please take the initiative yourself to contact players that you have not spoken to, if you can!

[TASK 194: MONTSERRAT]
There’s a masterlist below compiled of over 130+ Montserratian faceclaims categorised by gender with their occupation and ethnicity denoted if there was a reliable source. If you want an extra challenge use random.org to pick a random number! Of course everything listed below are just suggestions and you can pick whichever faceclaim or whichever project you desire.
Any questions can be sent here and all tutorials have been linked below the cut for ease of access! REMEMBER to tag your resources with #TASKSWEEKLY and we will reblog them onto the main! This task can be tagged with whatever you want but if you want us to see it please be sure that our tag is the first five tags, @ mention us or send us a messaging linking us to your post!
THE TASK - scroll down for FC’s!
STEP 1: Decide on a FC you wish to create resources for! You can always do more than one but who are you starting with? There are links to masterlists you can use in order to find them and if you want help, just send us a message and we can pick one for you at random!
STEP 2: Pick what you want to create! You can obviously do more than one thing, but what do you want to start off with? Screencaps, RP icons, GIF packs, masterlists, PNG’s, fancasts, alternative FC’s - LITERALLY anything you desire!
STEP 3: Look back on tasks that we have created previously for tutorials on the thing you are creating unless you have whatever it is you are doing mastered - then of course feel free to just get on and do it. :)
STEP 4: Upload and tag with #TASKSWEEKLY! If you didn’t use your own screencaps/images make sure to credit where you got them from as we will not reblog packs which do not credit caps or original gifs from the original maker.

The High Priestess, upright
sacred knowledge
Hours pass but time within the Art Institute stands still—most patrons inebriated by their intake of alcohol or swayed by the rhythm of the music that surrounds them. The snake in the grass is yet to be seen. A group of heretics knew what hand would be played out tonight. Not even the gift of knowledge would spare them from their fate. ‘Tis true that there are more guests than normal, but none of them had been identified as foe. A group of people on the elevator hear an extra tick to the beat of music that vibrates all four walls. Those on the dancefloor or inside see the lights suddenly power down. Darkness pours through, and even the dim moonlight is no help at all. The music stops all together, but it doesn’t cease the subtle ticking of a distant, haunting metronome.
Suddenly, the Earth quakes under foot. The loud explosions strike true louder than thunder as the party erupts into chaos. Anonymous armed gang members are blocking the exits with guns. A loud ominous inhumane squeal emits from the staircases. Bullets whizz by the frantic guests, and the fire has started to entrap them into the building. The embers carry the light in the building, and crawls up the curtains and burns through the spilled alcohol on the ground. Even for civilians the fight or flight survival instincts have kicked in. Those normally innocent from crime do whatever needs to be done to get outside to their salvation. It’s a frenzy, dog eat dog, and if you want to survive, you’ll have no choice but to fight.
It’s promising if one finds themselves outside the thick veil of smoke, but the promise is yanked once the survivor realizes their salvation has been denied. All the bodies they crawled over were once someone they knew. Some burned, some caught in the crossfire, some purposefully disposed of, and some trampled by the people looking to live another day.
There are no saints among the sinners.
Hello everyone! Welcome to part 2 of the event. This will run from October 21, 2019 to October 28, 2019. You may still continue event threads from the first half of the plot if you wish. While you're not required to pause your regular threads, we encourage you to prioritize event ones. Please tag all event threads ‘crimson.event’. The below plot drops are currently open, but each player is limited to 2 slots only.
FIRST FLOOR
Heavy security. No guns. MONIKA ADLER smuggles in guns with the help of VALARENA CASTILLO ( Fausts )
DIMITRI VASILE notices the bomb under the staircase, alerts CHARACTER D to help them block the way.
SAGE CAULFIELD-PROUVOST fights the flames with a fire extinguisher, but soon runs out of powder and instead begins to crack open the windows with the blunt edge.
CHARACTER F, G, and H try to turn on the fire sprinklers, but MELANIE WARD and BLUE DANIELS sabotaged their efforts. The fire sprinklers are disabled as the smoke continues to rise with the flames.
CHARACTER K catches on fire and needs to stop, drop, and roll to extinguish the flames.
TATIANA STEELE pulls the fire alarm and their sleeve catches on fire.
TEDDY COHEN and JACK DAWSON IOAN ( Fausts) are guarding the main exit. They allow Fausts and Civilians out, but fight anyone else. CLEMENTINE O’SHEA, BOONE O’SHEA, FINNAGÁN O'SHEA , and LEVI BOHAN ( O’Sheas/Vasiles ) are denied which leads to a fight at the main exit.
JORDAN WAKE (Civilian) gets caught in the crossfire and takes a bullet to the abdomen, courtesy of CHARACTER T.
HOLLY BYRNE and JOHNNY BENNETT sustain third degree burns being too close to the stairs when they collapse.
SANTIAGO LOPEZ ( Civilian/Vasile/Leon/Washington ) picks a weapon from one of the bodies to defend themselves but is too afraid to pull the trigger. NAOMI WASHINGTON ( Civilian/Vasile/Leon/Washington ) confiscates the gun and fires in SANTIAGO LOPEZ’s stead.
ILYANA ROMANOVA steps out of the way just in time for debris to come crashing from the ceiling, trapping TOBY O’SHEA, CONNOR MASON O’SHEA , and JULIETTE HARPER underneath. CHARACTER Y jumps to their rescue, and TOBY O’SHEA, CONNOR MASON O’SHEA , and JULIETTE HARPER are injured.
CHARACTER C1 tries to douse some of the flames with a cup of water. Good looking out, bro. The whole building is on fire.
CHARACTERS ON THE FIRST FLOOR ESCAPE VIA A SHATTERED WINDOW AND ARE SWEPT UP BY A FLEET OF AMBULANCES TO ASSESS THEIR INJURIES.
SECOND FLOOR
VICTORIA STONE, HEAVEN RICHARDS and CHARACTER F1 are trapped in a stalled elevator. They hear something beeping under the floor—the stark realization that they only have minutes to escape before the elevator blows incites panic.
LUKA SOKOLOV hears the commotion from inside the elevator and runs to help pry the doors open for VICTORIA STONE, HEAVEN RICHARDS, and F1.
BIRDIE MENDOZA passes out from smoke inhalation and has to be carried to the fire escape by TYLER MADDOX, CHARACTERS J1 and K1 witness CHARACTER L1 go out the fire escape and follow suit.
RYKER WARREN ( O’Shea ) and ZINADIA “Z” ANTONOVNA ( O’Shea ) work together to escape with priceless paintings during the commotion.
STELLA HOLLIDAY ( Civilian/Vasile/O’Shea ) takes a stray bullet in the shoulder and returns fire on JUNO SONG ( Faust ), who is struck in the chest. Luckily, the placement is non-lethal.
ANASTASIA VASILE ( Civilian/Vasile/Leon/Washington ) finds a way down to the first floor and escapes through a broken window.
MARCELLINE VASILE sacrifices a painting to the flames, but the fire only grows. It was a bad plan—their palms suffer second degree burns.
KATERINA FOX, ARABELLA DAVIDSEN, and U1 are saved from the fire by OLIVER FAUST. They suffered minor injuries, but are still taken to the hospital.
MIKAL VOLKOV is stabbed in the shoulder but doesn’t see their assailant—SAMANTHA REDFORD gets away with it.
EVERYONE ON THE SECOND FLOOR HAS EITHER DIED OR ESCAPED VIA THE FIRE ESCAPE. THE BOMB IN THE ELEVATOR GOES OFF, AND THE SECOND FLOOR COLLAPSES.
OUTSIDE
ZACH WASHINGTON and Y1 help survivors down from the fire escape and lead them across the street, a safe distance from the flames lapping at the roof of the Art Institute.
SASKIA O’SHEA suffers a severe asthma attack due to smoke inhalation.
CHARACTER A2 tries to resuscitate CHARACTER B2, and after a few agonizing minutes, CHARACTER C2 miraculously comes back to life.
FELIX GELLER makes the idiotic decision to snuff out their cigarette, but instead creates a small fire outside. CHARACTER E2 witnesses this and ( does/does not ) report them.
QUENTIN O’SHEA , CHARACTER G2 ( O’Sheas ) wake up outside the Art Institute. They don’t remember how they got there, and are unscathed by the flames. They are taken into custody by CHARACTER H2 ( Leon/Cop ) as prime suspects.
CHARACTER I2 ( O’Shea ) picks a fight with EFFIE FAUST and K2 ( Fausts ) thanks to the creeping suspicion that it was the Faust family who planted the bombs.
CHARACTER L2 and CHARACTER M2 assist the first responders on site to help get the fire under control.
BAXTER GREENE is arrested, but flees the scene with the handcuffs still on. They are not captured by police.
FENRIR SJOBERG and DEXTER O’SHEA are MIA after the event of the fire. It is unsure if they survived, if they fled, or if they are still in the building due to injury.

Phoenix Foundry
9 North Eighth Street
Built, after 1865
Demolished, between 1924-1950
(Ancestry) — looking towards 9 North Eighth Street, date unknown
William B. Cook: competitor to Asa Snyder, and no shallow man he.
(Library of Congress) — Beers Illustrated Atlas of the Cities of Richmond & Manchester, 1877 — Plate K — showing foundry location
It is only your shallow man who believes in luck-who limits his faith to the ruling of a star or the casting of a planet. The laws of gravity, of chemistry, of botany, and the other natural laws, are not more fixed and certain in their operation than those who push their way up the plane of social and rational life, and there develop their influence in the struggle which every man makes in life, from the boy's game of play up to the crowning act of individual achievement in work. The sublime faith that believes in the stars-that looks up and out upon the deep-vaulted night, and tries hard to formulate a faith that all men can accept and rationally founded-may be admired by us for the grandeur and vastness of the problems it seeks to solve;
[HILL] — advertisement in Hill's Richmond City Directory, 1874-75
but a little reason, not too shallow or superficial in quality, will soon bring us back to the more rational basis of cause and effect, the same arithmetic of which may be accurately computed as the threads of an even web. Law is the basis of everything, and although it works by invisible hands and feet, it treads steadily in one path, and brings out the uniform result. The lucky man is the one who perceives the chance of success, and seizes it at the right moment to make the success his own. He may be thwarted time and time again by adverse or unforeseen contingencies, such as no proper forecast, can effectually guard against; but a resolute faith in cause and effect in the industrial dogma that something comes from something and nothing comes from nothing, will bring him out successfully in the end.
(Ancestry) — William Bennett & Jane Bath Cook on their wedding day, October 10, 1850
The owner of the Phoenix Foundry, Mr. William B. Cook, is a happy exemplification of the correctness of these reflections. He is a hard worker, and has had some hard rubs with "Adverse and unforeseen contingencies." He has been burnt out no less than three times in twenty-five years, but by dint of perseverance and the best of all personal qualities--pluck--he has risen each time, if not Phoenix-like, from the ashes of a previous establishment, yet like a resolute and determined man, who, when one chance fails him, is ready, nothing daunted, to strike for another.
(Library of Congress) — Sanborn Fire Insurance Map from Richmond (1886) — Plate 15 — showing former foundry building now a livery
With him, work is victory. He takes no chances at luck, and consequently draws no blanks. Each blast of the forge, and each blow of the hammer, is what he has faith in, and leaves the rest to fortune. There are larger and more imposing establishments in Richmond, but his political economy is not to cut the throat of their competition, but to establish his own. No man is prouder of the prosperity of Richmond, arising from the other and larger establishments, than the energetic and public-spirited owner of the Phoenix Works. He seeks to share only in the general prosperity, and demands patronage only as he may show himself worthy of it.
[CHAT] — advertisement for Phoenix Foundry in Chataigne's Directory of Richmond, 1881
The Phoenix Foundry is on the east side of eighth street, between Franklin and Main. Prior to November, 1871, it was run by Messrs. Cook & Viles, but since that time Mr. Cook has been the sole proprietor. He employs a large force and turns out a large variety of general castings, besides manufacturing iron railings, balconies, verandahs, columns, caps, sills, vault doors and frames, and all kinds of iron work for buildings. In fact, about everything this side of the line of Architectural iron work is successfully turned out in his establishment.
July 2015 — showing three-tiered verandah of the Stephen Putney House, cast by Phoenix Foundry [CAW]
His building is a large three-story brick, on Eighth above Main, with the foundry in the rear of it, and two stories above for machinery, woodwork, and pattern loft. He has recently completed and put up the large and comodious burglar & fireproof safe vault, in the new banking house of Messrs. Issacs, Taylor and Williams, on the corner of Thirteenth & Main Streets, which is said to be the largest safe ever manufactured south of "Mason and Dixon's line." Whether this be so or not, it is certainly large enough to satisfy and one that what our home institutions cannot do in the way of manufacturing mammoth safes, need not be sought for elsewhere.
(Library of Congress) — Sanborn Fire Insurance Map from Richmond (1905) — Plate 10 — showing former foundry building to become a News-Leader Printing site
Mr. Cook is also constructing iron fronts for buildings, and doing not a little to the architectural taste and beauty of our city. The iron work for St. Mark's Church (Episcopal) is from his establishment, as well as numerous verandahs, balconies, railings, etc., of iron, put up during the past two or three years in different parts of the city. The iron work to the new office building of the Gas Works at Rocketts, with fine iron verandah and steps, was furnished by Mr. Cook. He has lately filled orders for Norfolk, for points in North and South Carolina, and other parts of the South, and he is confident he can compete, in quality and style of work, as well as in price, with any similar establishment in this or any other city.
(ProQuest® Sanborn Maps Geo Edition™) — Sanborn Insurance Maps of Richmond (1924) — Plate 10 — showing former foundry building now vacant
Mr. Cook has had an experience of twenty-five years and upwards at the business in which he is now engaged. Born in an adjoining county, and coming to Richmond when he was a mere boy, he has spent his apprenticeship and whole business among us. He has had, as we have before intimated, some pretty severe rebuffs of fortune; but he has come out every time with a resolution to strike ten blows for success where he had only struck five before.
(ProQuest® Sanborn Maps Geo Edition™) — Sanborn Insurance Maps of Richmond (1950) — Plate 10 — showing former foundry building now an auto parking lot
Starting first as a partner of Barnes & Co., he was afterwards of the company of Lownes & Cook, then of Cook & Viles, and now has the Phoenix Foundry as his own-- a foundry appropriately named from the circumstances already referred to, that on three several occasions he has seen his different establishments reduced to ashes.
Such business energy and capacity as he has shown, and such faith in his work as the means of ultimate triumph, entitled him to a liberal if not generous share of public patronage. [GILL]
April 2020 — looking towards the former location of 9 North Eighth Street
The growth of the Main Street canyon — the stretch of high-rises that today runs between Twelfth and Sixth Streets — and the proximity of the former iron works to it, did not bode well for its future. Some time after 1924 it was demolished and became a parking lot, a condition that probably lasted until the building that is now 8th & Main Apartments was constructed in 1968.
That’s a lot of changes for one location: foundry, livery, print shop, parking lot, office building, plus whatever else it was before the Evacuation Fire.

in less than 24 hours, the 2009 founder’s ball will officially begin! the admin team has decided to post the pairings, as well as the pairings’ requirements early, so plotting can ensue prior to the beginning of the event. however, event threads are not to officially begin until FRIDAY, JULY 27 at 5:00 PM EST. below, you’ll find a list of all the requirements for the couples, as they are told at the beginning of the ball. please try to have your thread be a priority before other threads, as these are mandatory requirements from the founding families. if you do not finish before the event ends due to running low on time, feel free to finish up on chatzy or discord and post the transcript so we know what happened. **** length does not matter, and shorter things are highly encouraged since the main goal of this should be to have characters converse through these activities. we would rather threads be short and have characters get through these requirements than have threads be long and only get 2-3 notes before the end of the event.
first dance of the night. the first dance of the ball is to be completed in the provided pairs, and from there the attendees are allowed to go about the ball freely. dancing is mandatory.
walk around & take pictures. there will be cameras and photographers around to make sure that a photo is snapped of every pairing, but this can also include selfies. characters must circle the mansion together at least once and they will be watched so as to make sure they are with their chosen partner. feel free to make edits or aesthetics to represent their experience!
a note on pairings--these have all been completely randomized, not hand-picked by the admins. some couples were adjusted after going through the generator, as some members may have been paired with their own characters. these pairings were chosen based on those who are not on hiatus. if your character is not on the list, please let us know so we can add them!

Maybe this road trip will go a little better than the last one.
When the SEC schedule shifted around, and we had to add those carpetbaggers from Texas and Missouri, the already-confusing rotation got a little murkier.
Auburn hasn’t seen much of certain teams from the East. Yeah, we play Georgia every year, but the other schools in that division are a rare sight around the Plains, and the Tigers don’t really get to see road campuses much either.
We last saw Florida a year ago, but before that it was 2011.
Kentucky was the opener this year, but it was five years before that since we saw them.
Tennessee was 2018 and 2013.
Vanderbilt, uh... 2016 and 2012.
Missouri? Just once in the regular season — 2017 on the road.
And South Carolina? It’s been six years since we saw the Gamecocks in an epic offensive showdown on the Plains. Last time in Columbia? It’s been nine seasons since Gene Chizik’s last big win.
This year, the Tigers get to head to Williams-Brice Stadium one of the venues in which they’ve played the least in the conference. Auburn has visited just twice this millennium (2006/2011), with another meeting coming in 1997. We haven’t seen these much, yet, both sides have quite a bit in common.
South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp?
Oh, maybe you mean former Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp...
Gamecock defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson?
Don’t you mean former Auburn defensive backs coach and all-SEC safety?
The bloodlines are intertwined.
I mean...
Majestic as hell.
Anyway, both of these teams come in questioning themselves a bit. We know about Auburn’s struggles — the Night-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named in Athens and the Pork Paradox from last week — and how the Tigers are trying to get right and establish a run game and something on offense. Meanwhile, Muschamp’s boys started 0-2 before beating a COVID-depleted Vanderbilt team last Saturday.
That’s not to say that both sides haven’t done good things. Auburn’s defense took some hits lately with the loss to Georgia and the second half against Arkansas, but injuries took their toll on the Tigers. However, last weekend was the first time this year that the run game looked like what we expect out of a Malzahn offense. Tank Bigsby is exceptionally impressive in his Tiger debut, and he rumbled for 268 total yards last weekend, most since Tre Mason in 2013.
Meanwhile, South Carolina lost a close game to Tennessee to open the year, and played even with Florida for much of the first half before falling behind. The Vandy game was no contest, so they’ve had a chance to taste success. Tailback Kevin Harris is a solid power back, and Shi Smith is a danger on the perimeter, though, and the defense is adept at stopping the run (oh, joy!). Tennessee ran for 133 yards on 4.0 yards per carry, while Florida hit just 80 yards on 24 carries, and Vandy went for just 76 yards on 33 carries.
If Auburn wants to win, it’s almost certain that they’ll need to get Tank Bigsby and the rest of the run game going, but that might be tougher than it appears.
SERIES HISTORY: Auburn leads the all-time series 10-1-1, with South Carolina’s only mild success coming in a 16-14 win in Birmingham in 1933 and a 20-20 tie at the same spot a year before. Auburn has won eight meetings in a row, all since the Gamecocks joined the SEC.
LAST MEETING: 42-35 win for Auburn in 2014.
LAST WEEK: Auburn escaped Arkansas 30-28 with Anders Carlson’s game-winning field goal with seven seconds left. South Carolina had no trouble beating Vanderbilt 41-7 for their first win of the season.
KEY STARTERS:
AUBURN
Bo Nix: 54-95, 597 yards, 4 TDs, 1 INT
Tank Bigsby: 34 carries, 192 yards; 11 catches, 84 yards
Seth Williams: 12 catches, 216 yards, 2 TDs
Anthony Schwartz: 21 catches, 197 yards, 1 TD
Zakoby McClain: 32 tackles, 1 sack
Roger McCreary: 11 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 INT
SOUTH CAROLINA
Kevin Harris: 56 carries, 326 yards, 4 TDs
Collin Hill: 69-110, 698 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Shi Smith: 26 catches, 271 yards, 2 TDs
Ernest Jones: 29 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, 1 sack
Kingsley Enagbare: 13 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, 3 sacks
KEYS FOR AUBURN:
THIRD DOWNS. It was a bugaboo against Kentucky and we thought, alright, game one. We let Stetson Bennett escape the rush in Week 2, and it was a trend. Now after Kendall Briles answered every single blitz that Kevin Steele threw at the Hogs on third down last Saturday and beat most of them, it’s a problem. South Carolina has the kind of offense that can move the ball on the ground and set up third and manageable. Auburn has to be better at giving the offense more opportunities to work, and the Gamecocks’ ball control attack will try to limit the number of drives that Auburn gets. Have to have more third down stops. Gus Malzahn needs to flip the script and that starts here and on the other side of the ball...
CONTROL THE CLOCK WITH THE RUN GAME. Tank Bigsby has emerged as a star in Auburn’s backfield, and his running ability is taking pressure off of Bo Nix. He hasn’t found the end zone yet, but that time isn’t far off. He’s the most talented freshman back we’ve had showing out since his position coach, and he’s the answer to set Auburn up with the desirable second-and-medium, third-and-short type of situations. If Auburn can string together some longer drives and pound the rock, then they can flip the narrative and do exactly what Arkansas wants to do. It won’t hurt being able to run the ball with some of the next games coming up either.
HEALTH. Are we getting some guys back? Yes indeed. Auburn’s offense only played 15 guys last weekend, but we should have a healthy Eli Stove back this weekend. His presence will pay dividends for Bo Nix and open up both the passing and running games. On the other side of the ball, K.J. Britt is still out after thumb surgery, but some of Auburn’s other defensive players should be back, preventing a late game slump like we saw last weekend.
IS GUS ALREADY COACHING FOR HIS JOB? I’m not the first one to say it, but if you look at some of the chatter around the internet, the loss to Georgia was another nail in the coffin for Gus’ time at Auburn. If we’d lost to Arkansas, it would’ve been a matter of time. Over his time at Auburn, there have been multiple times that he’s saved his job with clutch wins. Look at 2017. Look at the Iron Bowl last year. Despite the flaccid nature of the Georgia loss, Auburn could turn it around and may likely be favored in each of the next four or five games. Win those, and you’re back in the top ten, sitting pretty as you head into Amen Corner Pt. II. When Gus needs to, he wins. This could be the start of that just as the running game is starting to get going.
STRESS-O-METER:
Man, it’s fall and the leaves are starting to look beautiful. We’re not stressed at all.

With a new team being added, a salary-cap crunch and the drive to try to figure out how to beat the Stanley Cup-champion Pittsburgh Penguins, there was a lot of movement in the offseason. Here’s a look at a few of the bigger-name players who will be wearing new threads this season.

The grass is stained with crimson after the smoke clears. The O’Sheas have taken monumental casualties and injuries, and the police point their fingers toward them with accusations. The Fausts have not escaped unscathed, riddled with bullet holes and burns, but miraculously, they’ve pulled off one of the most dangerous heists in Chicago to date. As for the Vasiles, their partnership with the O’Sheas has totally decomposed after the framing, and their trust is up for grabs. The Leons are slowly losing their faith in the Fausts—while they are still considered allies and the O’Sheas are seemingly to blame for the deaths, something about this still paints the Fausts in red light. They saved the day, but how many of their men were lost in the fire ? The Washington’s campaign rivals were taken by the flames, and the public eye is on them. Anyone who pays attention knows this attack was no accident, and it’s up to the Washingtons to repair their credibility after supposedly disposing of their competition.
It seems as if the Fausts took the victory, as they successfully framed the O’Sheas for the Institute debacle, but quick-witted O’Shea members scrambled to steal priceless paintings in the fire, only adding to their accumulating riches. The Leons are now looked upon as saviors of the Crimson City, disobeying the orders of the Fausts in favor of protecting the innocents. There’s always a silver lining with the Washingtons—they’ve lost their campaign competition—and the political power of Chicago is practically claimed. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a win in sight for the Vasiles. At least their parties are a BLAST.
Chicago is on the mend, and civilians and family members alike are busy licking their wounds. It’ll be quiet for the coming weeks, but don’t expect the peace to last long. The O’Sheas are angry, but the Vasiles are angrier.
THE VASILE HALLOWEEN EVENT HAS OFFICIALLY CLOSED. Feel free to post new threads regarding the aftermath and the trauma. You may finish your part 2 threads if you want, but don’t be afraid to start fresh. Begin all of your new threads with crimson.starter as usual, and let’s all get back to some normalcy. Below the cut is your character summary:
FIRST FLOOR
Heavy security. No guns. MONIKA ADLER smuggles in guns with the help of VALARENA CASTILLO.
DIMITRI VASILE notices the bomb under the staircase, alerts others to help them block the way.
SAGE CAULFIELD-PROUVOST fights the flames with a fire extinguisher, but soon runs out of powder and instead begins to crack open the windows with the blunt edge.
O’Shea memebrs try to turn on the fire sprinklers, but MELANIE WARD and BLUE DANIELS sabotaged their efforts. The fire sprinklers are disabled as the smoke continues to rise with the flames.
TATIANA STEELE pulls the fire alarm and their sleeve catches on fire.
TEDDY COHEN and JACK DAWSON IOAN are guarding the main exit. They allow Fausts and Civilians out, but fight anyone else. CLEMENTINE O’SHEA, BOONE O’SHEA, FINNAGÁN O'SHEA, and LEVI BOHAN are denied which leads to a fight at the main exit.
JORDAN WAKE gets caught in the crossfire and takes a bullet to the abdomen, courtesy of a Faust family member.
HOLLY BYRNE and JOHNNY BENNETT sustain third degree burns being too close to the stairs when they collapse.
SANTIAGO LOPEZ picks a weapon from one of the bodies to defend themselves but is too afraid to pull the trigger. NAOMI WASHINGTON confiscates the gun and fires in SANTIAGO LOPEZ’s stead.
ILYANA ROMANOVA steps out of the way just in time for debris to come crashing from the ceiling, trapping TOBY O’SHEA, CONNOR MASON O’SHEA , and JULIETTE HARPER underneath. A civilian jumps to their rescue, and TOBY O’SHEA, CONNOR MASON O’SHEA , and JULIETTE HARPER are injured.
CHARACTERS ON THE FIRST FLOOR ESCAPE VIA A SHATTERED WINDOW AND ARE SWEPT UP BY A FLEET OF AMBULANCES TO ASSESS THEIR INJURIES.
SECOND FLOOR
VICTORIA STONE and civilians are trapped in a stalled elevator. They hear something beeping under the floor—the stark realization that they only have minutes to escape before the elevator blows incites panic. LUKA SOKOLOV hears the commotion from inside the elevator and runs to help pry the doors open for the civilians.
BIRDIE MENDOZA passes out from smoke inhalation and has to be carried to the fire escape by TYLER MADDOX, they witness a civilian go out the fire escape and follow suit.
RYKER WARREN and ZINADIA “Z” ANTONOVNA work together to escape with priceless paintings during the commotion.
STELLA HOLLIDAY takes a stray bullet in the shoulder and returns fire on JUNO SONG, who is struck in the chest. Luckily, the placement is non-lethal.
ANASTASIA VASILE finds a way down to the first floor and escapes through a broken window.
MARCELLINE VASILE sacrifices a painting to the flames, but the fire only grows. It was a bad plan—their palms suffer second degree burns.
KATERINA FOX and ARABELLA DAVIDSEN are saved from the fire by OLIVER FAUST.
OUTSIDE
ZACH WASHINGTON helps survivors down from the fire escape and leads them across the street, a safe distance from the flames lapping at the roof of the Art Institute.
SASKIA O’SHEA suffers a severe asthma attack due to smoke inhalation.
FELIX GELLER makes the idiotic decision to snuff out their cigarette, but instead creates a small fire outside.
QUENTIN O’SHEA wakes up outside the Art Institute. They don’t remember how they got there, and are unscathed by the flames. They are taken into custody as a prime suspect.
An O’Shea picks a fight with EFFIE FAUST thanks to the creeping suspicion that it was the Faust family who planted the bombs.
