“Why the fuck would it be a Halloween costume?” Landon bristles, dropping his arms awkwardly by his side and shooting her the kind of what the fuck are you talking about? type of expression that was reserved only for siblings. Landon should have expected this from Edie. Xavier would have congratulated him, clapped him on the shoulder and welcomed his brother into the ranks of the Order. 

Not Edie.

They had never stood on the same side when it came to the Order and his dreams of becoming a fully fledged member like Xavier, their father and their grandfather. They had never come close to even agreeing to disagree. After losing their father though he had thought she might have changed her opinion. Understood why now more than ever he needed to do this. 

“You’re supposed to tell me it looks good on me.” Landon says, misplaced hope in his eyes. He would have had better luck getting Fallon to agree to letting him take her car for a spin unsupervised.

Landon was the second child to be adopted to the Moore family. Since they couldn’t have children of their own, they adopted his older brother Clark first, but he was adopted soon afterwards. He was raised and spoiled deeply by his parents. He got a trust fund to get into a college and work on the degree he wanted. He is far too cocky for his own good and isn’t all too great with making sure that others needs are met as well as his.
