"Hey, honey," Mason called out, unclipping both Tina and Milo from their leads as they bound through the house towards their water bowls. "We are back from our run," he hung up the leashes, discarded his jacked onto a hook and slipped out of his shoes where he headed toward the kitchen. It was early still, having taken the dogs out prior to the sun rising and returning just after it had risen, lighting up the neighborhood. "Want some coffee?" He turned as he heard the quiet padding of her feet.

"I hadn't realized you moved back to town." Ari was a few years older than Wesley but Kismet Harbor had been small enough that it was easy to know just about everyone in some regard. "I mean, I know," he thinned his lips, "I'm sorry for your loss," he knew he had said it before, "I guess I just hadn't realized you and your husband were going to move here permanently. Not that I'm complaining." These words brought a smile to his lips as he set down the glass of wine for Ari that he brought back from the bar for them. "Are you settling in well?"

The line for sweet treats at Seaside Bakery was longer than Logan would have wanted for a morning as her stomach growled with the anticipation of all the delights. Once the line had dwindled, she was next, leaving herself to order far too many pastries and desserts. Truthfully, Logan didn't know where she'd start first and which she'd bring home and maybe she'd stop by Matt's and bring him some as well. After paying, she turned to find a table when she saw someone else sitting alone, "Okay, feel free to say no, stranger danger and all," Logan approached with a comical tone, "I may have overbought and don't know where to start. Care to help me out?"

The rainy weather was not something that Mason enjoyed about living in Kismet Harbor. Not that it didn't rain in Nashville, but it seemed to rain more and more the last few weeks. Mason held the umbrella over the two of them, guiding himself and his wife towards the entrance. Grabbing the door for her, he let Ari in before he shook of the umbrella and closed it up before following in after her. "I booked us a reservation for lunch," he told her, approaching the hostess who took them to a table, "and then we have the wine tour and I figured we could go downtown afterwards, check out one of the music shows?"

Mason's chuckle was light-hearted with the woman's words, those in part, he was inclined to believe her. She had never lied to him, at least not directly from what he could ever tell. The only lie that Mason was privy to was her feelings but that was an invasion of her privacy with a text message he had seen to her sister after her passing. So, as far as he knew, Ari would never lie to him. "I am okay," Mason turned to face her as she did to him, "you know I would do anything for you, Ari." He'd said it in their vows and he'd say it again. "I meant it then and I mean it now." Mason reached out, cupping his wife's cheek, "I am okay. I am just happy to be where ever you are." @ariseongmurray

"I'm glad to hear that, because as much as I support you and everything you do I think if you were to tell me you didn't enjoy beach walks not only would it break my heart but it'd also likely be the one thing I couldn't support." she playfully laughed, shaking her head as she looked at her husband and then continued to prepare the breakfast she was making for them. "Honestly though, I haven't asked. You say you're settling in and that it's growing on you but are you okay?" she asked, turning to face her husband full on. "I mean, really okay? I know you sacrificed a lot to move here for me so I wanna be sure you're okay." @masonxmurray

"It's been a bit too long," he agree with his wife. Since the move to Kismet Harbor, Mason had been trying to forget the text message he saw. He wondered that if he spent more time with her, that might help him forget what he read, though he would be a fool to think it would change how she felt. "I do, too, at least I am getting used to them," it had only been more recently that Mason had been able to get out to the beaches as spring slowly made its arrival. "Kismet's been growing on me." @ariseongmurray

"Something like that." Ari smiled, letting her smile grow as her attention returned to the stove, preparing the breakfast that the two of them had agreed upon. When e suggested they stay in and enjoy each other's company, Ari nodded. "I think that sounds great, actually. I don't know the last time we haven't left the house for nothing. Well, aside from a dog walk." she admitted, looking over her shoulder at her husband. "They do love their beach walks, as do I." she smiled. "That sounds great, babe. Let's do it." she nodded enthusiastically. @masonxmurray

"It's like I can read your mind," and as he said the words, he knew immediately that it wasn't true. If he could read her mind, things might have been different between them as of now. "I'm suggesting," he chuckled, "that we enjoy ourselves a day, shut off from the rest of the world." Though they had more recently vacationed just outside of town, Mason was looking for an opportunity to continue to connect with Ari. Perhaps if he could do so, he'd be able to make her as happy he thought he did. "Then maybe take the dogs for a walk on the beach this evening after dinner." @ariseongmurray

"That sounds about right, doesn't it Tina girl?" she smiled, turning towards the fridge, taking out the eggs and the bacon she'd just purchased at the store the day prior and placing them on the counter before she prepped the stove to make both ingredients. "I was hoping you'd say that. I was in the mood for bacon myself. You think if I make the whole pack we can eat on it this week? Or should I store some away for later?" she questioned, shrugging before she grabbed a few eggs, placing them on the counter. She was about to ask her husband if he preferred scrambled or over easy eggs today when he kissed her cheek, and she giggled softly as his suggestive tone. "Oh can we?" she questioned, looking at her husband and offering him a small smile. "What are you suggesting, Mr. Murray?" @masonxmurray

"They'd never be able to take my attention away from you," which was the truth. Mason was hopelessly in love with Ari and had been for many years. However, the text message often reminded him that perhaps they were not the most perfect match for one another. However, he couldn't bring himself to say anything - not when he had meant to see the message. He'd never intentionally invade her privacy. "I do feel appreciated by you, you don't have to worry about that," Mason said, reaching across the table to take her hand into his own for a moment. "I love you, my wife." @ariseongmurray

With a small chuckle, Ari squeezed his hand as she shook her head. "It's a great color for you, babe, I just can't have too may people staring at you and taking all your attention away." she laughed, thanking the waitress once they were seated and looked over at her husband. Time together wasn't something that the two of them got to share in too often, and despite the fact that there were some moments of tension and time spent apart because of their jobs, Ari was appreciative and thankful for him. "You're the best, you know that? I don't feel like I tell you enough how much I adore you." @masonxmurray

With the coffee put into the filter, he pressed the start button for the pot to begin filling up. He turned, watching as his wife began rubbing on the dogs. It brought a smile to his lips as he continued to watch the interaction. There was no doubt that Mason loved Ari - he just knew in the back of his mind the text message he'd read would continue to flash at him until he brought it up. This morning was not the time. "I think the run kept him from being any sort of mischievous," he chuckled as he responded to his wife. "Hmm," Mason hummed, thinning his lips together in thought at the suggestions given to him by Ari. "I think -" he paused, "Bacon, eggs and then," he stepped towards her, "you and I can share something sweet," Mason pressed a kiss to her cheek with his suggestive tone. @ariseongmurray

"Well, you all thought correctly." she smiled, letting her hands rest tenderly against her husband's waist as they exchanged a soft and gentle kiss, only letting herself kiss him back - this time for a little longer - before she pulled away. Her hand moved towards her dogs and she smiled, kneeling slightly as she began to pet both of them who had sat so nicely for pets she couldn't help but smile. "And how are my babies?" she smiled, letting herself pet them both simultaneously as their tails wagged and she smiled, standing only a moment later before moving to the sink to wash her hands. "How was Milo on the walk today? Still being mischievous or is that only with me?" she questioned, drying her hands on the hand towel hanging nearby before she returned her attention to her husband. "What are you in the mood for? Bacon, eggs, biscuits? Or do you want something more sweet like blueberry pancakes or cinnamon rolls?" @masonxmurray

Wesley nodded his head. He could understand that, to a degree, considering he had never left Kismet Harbor to live somewhere else. As hard as it had been to stay after his loss and then Amayah leaving to heal, he stayed. "It's a hard place not to love," though perhaps he was biased in his own statement. "I'm glad to hear you are settling in," he smiled at Ari, "I'm sure it wasn't easy to move from a place he loved but it's clear he loves you all the same," the man wouldn't have moved if he didn't. "It's going to be nice to have you both in town, you'll have to come over to our new place for dinner, sometime." @ariseongmurray

A small smile at the other's condolences made Ari nod. "I can't really say we were planning on it." she shrugged, looking at the other with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "I mean, I knew it was important for me to be back here to my family grieve, and also be here to help Maverick with Charlotte if he were to ever want or need it, but, it wasn't until I was here that I realized how much I'd missed this place." she sighed, shrugging. That had been the truth though, despite the fact that she'd always said Kismet was home, she'd never pictured herself moving back here after being gone for so long. "We are settling in quite nicely though, yeah. I think Mason's enjoying being here, which I'm thankful for. He was the one I was most concerned about settling in here; I know he loved Nashville." @wesleyxjames

Inside, Mason collapsed the umbrella, wrapping the velcro around it so that it would not get everything wet. His lips curled into a smile as she pressed a kiss to his cheek. "I think so," Mason enjoyed spending time with his wife and had no problem planning a day out for the two of them. "You always are appreciative," even on their busiest of days, Mason knew that they cared for each other. "You mean, this color doesn't do me justice?" He teased as as the two of them were seated at their table. @ariseongmurray

Offering her husband a small smile as she followed his lead, her hand in his underneath the umbrella, Ari smiled, only letting go of his hand once she was inside so that he could close the umbrella and store it away properly. When he started naming all the things that he'd planned that she let herself lean into him, kissing his cheek and then immediately using her hand to wipe his cheek. "Sounds like a great day." she smiled, laughing slightly at the lipstick mark that was on his cheek. "I'll be sure to appreciate all the hard work you've put into planning this date for us, but remind me to wipe that lipstick off your face once we're sitting." @masonxmurray

"We thought that might be the case," he smiled at his wife as his gaze landed on her. "Great," his smile grew, arms wrapping around the woman's waist as she hugged him, their lips meeting for a soft kiss. "Always so beautiful in the morning," quite frankly, Ari had always been the reason to stay in bed just a little longer in the morning just so he could stare at her. "Breakfast sounds amazing," he pulled back from his wife, pressing one last kiss to the top of her head before rubbing his hand against his stomach, "We went for about five miles," he said, moving toward the coffee machine to get it set up for them. "Any plans for the day?" @ariseongmurray

Ari Seong-Murray had always been one that had sounds that she preferred. She was definitely a white noise kind of person - often times she'd sleep with a white noise app and head phones on as not to disturb Mason - and second to that was the sound of her family members. Between her niece's laugh and her husband's voice, Ari often found herself giddy at the sound of both. So, when the front door of their home opened and the sound of pattering feet entered their home. "Just the sounds I was starting to miss." Ari smiled, moving from her place in bed where she'd been curled up in reading when the front door opened and the trio came inside; it wasn't too often that one ever went without the other two, whether that be the dogs or her husband. His voice echoed through their house and Ari smiled. "I would love some coffee, actually." she nodded, taking a few steps across the room and hugged him, leaning up and kissing him softly in greeting. "Are you hungry? I can make some breakfast too if you want." @masonxmurray
