When Jonah was finished with his last date, he immediately looked where he assumed Violet would be watching or waiting. When he found she wasn't there at all, he assumed she might have actually gone home with somebody else. But that was when he heard the commotion in the hall and saw her there with someone on the ground... Might as well wait it out, right? See if everything is okay?

He sat at one of the tables and drank his water until eventually, he saw her coming back. He offered a kind of wave then leaned back in his chair. "Hey, you looked like you had your hands full over there..." He said, smiling softly. "Wanted to make sure you were good first instead of just dipping."

Alright, so it really depends on the sickness. if it's a stomach bug then he gets cranky and withdrawn. But if it's a cold, especially one coupled with fever, he gets suuuuper cuddly and touchy. Leo has experienced this first hand and he kinda loves it 🙈

Jon is not a chatty person even when feeling well, but he really clams up when sick, regardless of the motive of sickness.

Jonah sighed heavily, fingers sore from the tight knots he’d spent the entire morning tying. The exercise felt futile, especially considering the time spent out in the open — he’d been jumpy and on edge all day, head jerking left and right at every little shift of branches or crunch of leaves. What were the odds they’d even catch anything? He couldn’t remember the last time he saw an animal that wasn’t infected or sick or just plain skin and bones.

He tied off the last knot on his current trap and straightened up, stretching his arms and back towards the hazy blue sky. The sunlight cut through the thin covering of grey clouds like fingers, stretching down to drag across the ground. The last stretches of summer were on their way out, the warmth giving way to cool breezes and drizzling rain.

“ How many more of these are we going to make? ” he asked, eyeing the ever-shortening length of rope in his hands. His stomach churned with hunger, and his throat ached for something to drink. He wanted nothing more than to go home and curl up in his corner again, eyes trained on the door and knife gripped tightly in his right hand.

well this is embarrassing. it was one thing to be live in a dingy apartment in his hometown, but it was another thing to live in a dingy apartment with a roommate who is a total and complete asshole enough to lock him outside to hook-up with a girl that he took home from the bar jonah worked at. this was a new low. maybe one day he can write a book about this period of his life. but even he can admit to himself he's not a very inspiring muse. he's wearing his coat backwards with his arms forward through the sleeves to serve as a blanket as he tries to doze off but the sound of footsteps jolt him away. jonah looks up at the person, and just when he thought the night couldn't get worse, the hottest person on this floor approaches him and he must look like a total fucking loser right now. for someone who writes for a living, he can never find the right words to say to her when they cross paths. not even in this moment. "you, i- uh... hi. i just, um, the dude. the guy i live with. he's just. fuck. i'm just out here."

All this time they've known each other and Jonah still hasn't grown accustomed to the feeling of Leon's touch. He can swear that the other man has little fires or sources of electricity at the ends of his fingers, there's no other explanation for the way Jo's body reacts at even the slightest touch. Like the first time Leon pressed those digits between Leon's legs? Jonah thought he could die and go to heaven. He'd never been brought to ecstasy as quickly and thoroughly as he had that first time Leon made love to him and every subsequent time since then. Jonah was in awe, and too afraid to say it out loud in case that said something about him and was weird. He was used to hiding the quirkiest of his 'quirks', anyway, so what was swallowing this?

He's focused on the video game when he feels those magic fingers dancing down his spine, and Jonah can't help the sharp sound of the inhalation he sucks deep into his lungs. He nearly drops the controller, fumbles, Crash Bandicoot falling off the podium and into the ether, knocking off one of Jonah's multitudinous 'lives'. He sighs and scrunches up his face in a playful pout, tossing that half-scowl in Leon's direction before handing over the controller, as per the agreement. "That's cheating... for future reference."

Ever since he had received the dare from the Gossip Witches, he had spent his time at the party frantically scanning the crowds in hopes to find the right person who he could approach to swap costumes with him.
