"Do you know who I saw the other day?" Ceyhan's eyes were narrowed, arms crossed over his chest as he huffed in annoyance. "Ivana. Clearly she didn't ruin my life enough the first time, when she, you know, brought someone to our engagement party." Glancing over in his baby sister's direction, he arched an eyebrow. "What's that face for?"

"I am?" Ceyhan frowns, brows furrowing together as his gaze fell to the floor, his mind casting back to every interaction he had with Ivana. "We both know she's better off without me anyway, D, I did her a favor," He muttered, shaking his head before he scoffed. "Aydin will probably throttle me if he sees me, I get the feeling he doesn't like me much. No, Aylin was a far better person that I ever was, I actually felt like shit dragging her into my mess with Iva," He admitted, a heavy sigh escaping his lips as he spoke honestly for once. He still wasn't sure why he did it, the second he'd kissed Aylin that night, he knew it had been a mistake, but he'd been drunk and confused. Not that it was any excuse.

"then why are you the only person she talks about whenever her and feyza hang out?" defne asked before frowning at what ceyhan said. "sure." she said, deciding to leave it at that. ceyhan had most certainly loved ivana. "stop being dramatic, you're not going to die." she said, rolling her eyes. "maybe she's a cheating piece of shit just like you and her now husband knocked her up before the two of you hooked up." she said sarcastically.

"She didn't love me," His reply was automatic, something he'd told himself a thousand times before. "And I didn't love her. We were just--" The more he tried to convince himself the two of them had just been fooling around the more he knew it was a lie. "Oh fantastic, so I might die, then." He rolled his eyes before blinking at his baby sister. "Sorry, what? A newborn? I only saw her like, 8, 9 months ago how the hell does she have a newborn now?" He spoke, "And married? What? Again, our affair wasn't that long ago how the hell is she now married?"

"you were engaged to be married and clearly you both loved each other despite it being arranged." defne said, before shaking her head because she knew ceyhan would never listen to her. why would he? she was just his baby sister. "yes, aylin cavus and the entire cavus clan. but don't worry she had a precious newborn baby boy and a ring on her finger. she must be married now."

"I didn't cheat, we weren't technically together," Ceyhan tried to argue, before he caught on what his younger sister had said. "Sorry, did you just say Aylin is here? In this tiny shit show of a town?" He cursed in Turkish, rolling his eyes. "Can I not catch a break?"

defne was clearly very amused by what her older brother was saying. ceyhan said some wild things sometimes and defne was far more in control of her thoughts and emotions than ceyhan was. "after you cheated on her with aylin cavus." she said. "who i also saw in this lovely small town we are now in." she said.
