Closed starter for @bittcrsvveet || Alex
Zach had to admit, he had been a little lost since the Syndicate dispersed. With Lane gone, the one man who had given him guidance had gone with him, and that left Zach confused. But then, out of the ashes, had risen John Lark. A man who few knew and yet so many of the remaining agents admired. He took the place of Lane with firmness and vision, with a manifesto to rival any in history.
There cannot be peace without first a great SUFFERING. The greater the suffering, the greater the PEACE.
It was something for the remaining Apostles to cling to, to use as fuel for their fires. And today, Zach had been tasked with meeting up with one of his fellow Apostles named Alex who could help him further his goals. He stood in the darkened alleyway, adjusting the cuffs of his shirt as he looked around in search of whoever might join him, before his fingers briefly fell to the ring on his finger. He himself had been through a great suffering, with the loss of his husband, but peace had followed somewhat as he took vengeance on those who had stolen from him.
There had been no description, no appearance given, no signal that he could use to know who he was, but when he saw a shadowy figure making their way along the rain-covered path, Zach turned and waited.

Cont. from @veniividivici || Mason & Zach (x)
Zach barely flinched when the gunshot rang out, watching as the body tumbled to reveal the other man stood behind with poise and perfect aim. A smirk appeared across his blood-stained lips as he took in the sight of Mason, chuckling slightly at the greeting he was given. “What you talkin’ about? I always look pretty. Especially when I’m all beaten up and bloody.” Zach slowly got to his feet, brushing off the dust from his suit as he noticed a hole in the side, likely cause by glass or some other debris. “Bugger... This was my favourite. Ah well, let’s go.”

C O N T from @hcilpaimon || Dante (X)
Zach chuckled low in his throat as he observed the way Dante worked, always admiring the skill that people like him had when wielding some kind of weapon, especially the blade that he expertly twirled around his fingers.
“Well, what can I say?” he replied, smirking as he felt grateful to Solomon Lane for allowing him to explore his full potential. “Yeah, that should be the last one. Thank fuck they finally shut up. The screams are great, but geez they’re not pleasant on the ears after a while.”

C O N T from @tieflingsweetheart (X)
“Thank you, darling.” Christian replied as he took a cloth to the blade he’d most recently been using and wiped blood from it, placing it back onto the small table in front of him when he was finished. He turned to look at the man beside him, streaking his hand across his forehead to rid it of the small amounts of sweat and blood that had collected there. “Next time it’ll be your turn to do the dirty work and I’ll get to watch what it is you’re capable of.”
Zach’s lips portrayed a smirk that, when combined with the darkness in his eyes, looked positively evil. He observed closely as Christian cleaned the knife and folded his arms over his chest, eyes trailing up and down the other’s body.
“Oh I’ll be sure t’impress you.” Zach’s voice seemed to almost vibrate with its low tone, followed by the chuckle. “I aim t’please. You should know that by now, luv.”

C O N T from @mxgicum || Niklas (X)
Zach gave a small chuckle and nodded. “Well, I’d say y’picking things up pretty quickly. The rate you’re goin’ you’ll be a master of the craft in no time.” Folding his arms over his chest, he watched the other man, suddenly aware of how hungry he was himself.
“Bloody hell, yes. Let’s go. My shout, where d’ya fancy?”

C O N T from @ghcstethan (X)
There it was. The typical response from anyone fighting their own doubts - avoid the question by responding with another question. The query that had followed drew a low chuckle from the Apostle’s throat, accompanied by a shake of his head.
“Oh Hunt... You know as well as anyone ‘ow much our government’s can hurt us.” he replied, the word ‘government’ spat with pure venom and hatred. “I simply faced the same thing you did, only I didn’t ‘ave the chance to play the hero like you always seem t’do...” He had heard about Hunt’s ex-wife (or was it wife? He didn’t care for the semantics). Heard about the way she had been snatched away from him and almost murdered... Just like his Simon.

C O N T from @olympus7 || Alistair (X)
Bloody hell, he loved that grin. Ever since his husband’s death all those years ago, Zach had found it hard to let himself get close to anyone again, but when Julian Alistair came along, everything had changed. This man swooped in and even Zach himself was surprised by how he felt.
“Well, you know me, love. Always gotta play the doting partner.” he replied, chuckling as he glanced over and gave the other man a wink. Considering their options, Zach gave a small shrug. “I dunno, kinda curious to know what the deal with these guys is...” He wondered if it was a random coincidence, or if someone had hired terrible kidnappers to target them specifically. “Thoughts?”

Cont. from @hcppierthanevcr || Samara & Zach (x)
This was a good way for the Syndicate to test people out, another way to hire potential recruits that didn’t involve finding law abiding agents to turn. Lane would hire people under just a name, Viking, and send an existing member of his group to supervise and gauge whether or not they were a good fit, and that was exactly what he had sent Zach to do right now.
“Sadly is a good way to put it, yeah.” Zach replied, chuckling softly as he gave her a small salute as she asked if he would do his part. Crossing the room in a few, large strides, he approached the almost lifeless body with a smirk and twirled his blade in his hand. He made short work of carving out the word ‘SCUM’ on the man’s torso and cut off the ring finger as requested by Lane, before shoving the body so that it fell onto the tarp waiting so that he could be disposed of. “I can assure you, Viking will be very pleased with your results t’night, ma’am.”
