Mary went up to the make shift bar and grabbed two shots. She had no idea what they were, but they were a pretty pink colour, matching her dress, and that was enough for her to link them. She searched through the crowd, the best her eyes would let her, and found someone alone. The brunette made her way over, holding out a shot. "This is for you. We must do a shot together." She held it out in a cheers fashion.

"That is probably why I haven't met you before." A small pause. "I work a lot and then hang out at home." She had her closest friends there and sometimes didn't feel the need to leave. She did adore Tilden and Daisy, always trying to get out to see them when she could. "Let me go grab us another shot."

"Uh.... define new" Theo mused with a little laugh as she took the shot. She pulled a face but then did smile. She just wasn't used to drinking that much. "Daisy and Tilden are both good friends of mine, I just don't come to parties very often." Very often really meant not at all. But that didn't matter too much. "Uh.... sure."

With the shot accepted, Mary shoots her back, placing the empty glass down. "I'm Mary and I don't think I've met you before. Are you new?" This was normally not something the brunette would do, but she was feeling very happy and confident, and in the mood to make a new friend. "Did you want another shot?" She was down for another one.

Despite being a little nervous about coming to the party, with two of her closest friends not being there, Theo was having a good time. It felt nice to have a bit of a party, and let her hair down.
