“You never know with you tech guys,” Aidan mused. “You could be so consumed with your codes or your algorithms or whatever that you’ve forgotten something really rather basic instead.” A knowing smirk flashed across his features as he finished. His eyes, obscured by his sunglasses, also flashed with a glint of mischief, and instinctively Aidan felt Trent would be able to guess how he might be looking back at him. 

Trent’s next statement made Aidan smirk again, a laugh following. “You can ask me nicely, and I’ll come right on over…” he returned, deliberately trailing off. The older male made a point of remaining seated where he was, wanting to see just how his benefactor reacted, especially given what Aidan had been musing about a mere few moments before.
