IN TRUE AND UTTER HONESTY, she should be thanking the man who has sat himself beside her rather than merely staring at him. were it not for him, there was the possibility she may have wound up in some modicum of trouble, albeit not of her own making 一 especially not when those scholars had been the first to begin it all. when it had all happened, it had been alhaitham who stepped in to end what they'd started, long before her own limit might reach the point of tumbling them into a painting or two for a day of reflection.

and yet, she can merely sit in a curious silence, fiery-orange resting upon his figure as the sun finally twinkles out between the leaves. she would keep like this a moment longer, adjusting the new set of clothing she had made in the likeness of his city's style, before speaking at long last. ❝ You don't have to stay out here with me. I doubt those pests, in all their scholarliness, care to travel this far out. Let alone for nothing to gawk at, ❞ she huffs, hands idle for but a moment before she brings to life a dish she had seen when traveling the streets, portions enough for more than one.

❝ And I don't sleep! Thus, there's no use waiting for me to pass out to drag me back, if that is your genius plan. I will remain here regardless. ❞ so she might look on this world a little more rather than being cooped up in any house quite yet, the intrigue in her eye enough to betray that much as it scans the horizon...
