Can't miss this chance up, can't miss normality prior to she was overly used of surviving, looting and literally what a scavenger do in a world full of undead. Spirale was her saving grace.

English is her very poor langue but she's trying to learn it well even with a few limited words. Well, barriers are an issue to Spirale prior to her early argument from a random baker because she can't speak their language well.

Of course, she's honest to the core that she'd be baking something.

"Ja, ich spreche Deutsch. Aber ich lerne immer noch Englisch." No translators and such. She only speaks German as she continued baking cookies resembling her survivor friends at her world, with raisins. Her handiwork is somewhat crude. "Beatrix Amerhauser. Wir sind für jede Hilfe dankbar!"

Whatever the assistance is, she'll take it!

while baking certainly isn't garry's favourite activity, the chance for free pastries sounded almost too good to pass it up ... she might be able to learn while she's observing, so why not? as expected, there's a precision to the bakers and their work as garry strolls across the star trail with a bit more willpower than when she first stood on it. it doesn't so much scare her as overwhelm her a bit.

   this little baking event makes it easier to concentrate on something, though. and as garry's gaze carries from here to there, she spots a conversation happening nearby, of somebody trying (and failing, apparently) to communicate with one of the bakers. after listening in a bit, that sounds like ...

   ' sorry. du sprichst deutsch, oder? ' her accent is a bit more pronounced than it usually would be, which makes her cringe. it also feels quite strange ... perhaps she'd taken the universal translator of the island for granted, bridging gaps with it that much easier. ' ich kanns dir erklären, wenn du willst ... ich heiße garry! '
